Hi; i want to understand if i can somehow start this with lesser than 18stitches (8n+10). I want to use this stitch as a sleeveless top's strap, but 18 stitches is also too thick. How do I get a thinner strip of this stitch?
Is there any way to add a straight border to this stitch I have made a baby blanket using this stitch but cannot find any information on how to add a border since this stitch does not have corners
