    My notes on tool sizes: 1/8" hex key, 11/32" to remove 4 nuts/bolts, 3/8" to install 4 nuts/bolts, 7/16" to remove the fan cover/protector

    Hadn't thought about cutting a hole in the fan shield, but I've run into the non-exact replacement motor. I usually just cut the shaft with a right-angle grinder with a blade (or a sawzall). Any downsides to this?

    How do you test if motor is working? Ohms?

      Use your amp probe to see how many amps it's pulling

      Make sure it's getting voltage

      If its getting volts and not spinning, it's most likely bad unless there's a capacitor preventing you from starting

    how much does a split system like this cost in equipment cost? i have a 4x3x10 size room (120cu ft) sized room that i would like to make into an freezer suitable for cooling beverages and such for party's.
