I'm the same way when I get stressed I pick at my nail polish from the cuticle too! I'd love to see results from another wear test next time you're not having a stressful week.

I agree- kind of gluggy and hard to apply - I had to apply so many layers so I couldn't see the streaks...won't buy again.
I paint my nails, and I'm trying to figure out if the infinite shine stuff would be better for my girlfriend, who picks at her nails a lot. Would it last much longer than OPI's regular lacquer, when picked at? Or is it going to get just as quickly destroyed?
I wonder if it’s worth investing in the new pro stay formula 2017. I got my first kit of infinite shine in December 2016 and I was not impressed at all by the result: it dries faster than the Nail lacquer yes but the coating is thin and so was the top coat : thin and not as shiny as the OPI regular top coat... now the Base coat has a funny smell and all Vietnamese manicurist don’t know you have to wait for each coat to dry 1min before applying the next and anyways the nail lacquer color transfers onto the brush of the infinite shine top coat and you end with a reddish top coat...
Now I need to renew some of my NL colors, the colors came out as infinite shine version and even after trying infinite shine for 3 years, I m still wondering which one is better, was it lasting longer than the NL ? I didn’t notice. OPI regular NL can last up to 7 days, OPI IS gave similar results, if not less... I just remember I was disappointed by the lack of volume & shine of the top coat... the only + is that it dries faster and the IS nail polish doesn’t get thick with time...
Morever, it’s very complicated to find genuine OPI in Vietnam: we’re flooded with counterfeit OPI. The biggest nail supplies shops Kem Nghia sells FAKE OPI, I wasted a lot of money buying many fake OPI NL by mistake. Fake OPI is sold everywhere online on Viet websites. We re probably one of the country that does the most manicure pedicure weekly in this world, it’s a local specialty, everybody goes do their nails. OPI is the most wanted brand in here, everybody wants to buy OPI and we don’t even have an official store in the big malls or online store. We have Chanel, MAC, make up forever, Occidtane, Lancôme, Shu Uemura, Bobbi Brown , Yves Rocher, Bourjois in every mall and OPI is nowhere to be found 😤 ! There is one reseller on an hidden upper floor small shop, they don’t have all the colors and products... so we’re still being provided by « hand carry luggage import » , American Viet lieu bringing them from USA in their luggages like in the 90’s... WTH. So in 2019 I’m still looking on EBay to find what I need...
Can i use another base and top coats? Will they last that long if they are not from the same brand?

D V yes you can use gel top coat, be sure to let the polish dry completely. Hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for your video. Please help me, I've just tried this collection out using all of the three: Primer, Color and Top. However I got ugly pencil strokes and the Top coat took some of the color with the strokes. I think it has to do with me waiting too long/too short for the layers to dry. How long did you wait between all the coats? You nails look lovely!
+Matilda Tamm hi there! Thanks for watching! I actually had the same exact issue with the original infinite shine too cost. I think OPI realized the problem too and they have just release their ProStay Infinite shine too coat. This. One works a lot better. Your aren't doing anything wrong, it's the topcoat that is the problem! I did wait quite a while before applying my topcoat, but I also had the issue of color coming off with the brush. Try the new ProStay topcoat if you'd like, I find it works a lot better!❤️
I am also having difficulty. I have great shine with the color and then when I apply the top coat, it’s the opposite. It dries so dull, it looks matte? Anyone know why? I have the pro stay version
Hi! After more experience with the pro stay topcoat, I found I really didn’t like it! When I use the infinite shine polishes (and all polishes honestly😂) I use Essie gel setter. It is my all time favorite top coat! It is super shiny, dries fast and lasts forever! Hope this helps!
is your wear test with like washing dishes and so on?
Right on the money! OPI Shine is a tad more difficult to apply...
