Hi! I do so wish I could apply polish like you do, Anna. I love red polishes. So beautiful! Reds are sometimes hard to clean up off skin. If I could just not touch my skin with the polish… I actually have a lot of those reds. Opi are some of the few mainstream polishes I own. I wear them on my toes.

Great comparisons! The only one I have is the Coca Cola red. I never thought I liked orangey reds but that one is so smooth and pretty on the nail. I love the Raisin Nature Strong color and all the darker reds you showed here. I also think it is interesting how pink both the OPI Red and Revlon Red are. Definitely neither is a true red.
Big Apple Red and Relentless Ruby!!! - I'm currently wearing BAR and I think I want to try Relentless Ruby. For the Summer I'll do Cajun Shrimp and try Coca Cola Red! I'm doing a year of short red nails! Thanks for the demo!!

OPI RUDOLPH RED was far and away the best Christmas red ever put on the market. The micro red sparkles in a gorgeous red color have not been duplicated since. All too often we find too much silver or the color is too burgundy such as with runner-up Ruby Pumps. To this day 30 years in the business people still talk about Rudolph Red being the best. Discontinued bottles can be found on the internet for $25.00 to $60.00 but I have to wonder about quality since this came out in the mid-2000s. Does anyone have a suggestion for a similar replacement?
Of course Big Apple Red is the best red, it’s associated with my hometown, the Big Apple NYC ♥️🤣 But I will say, while I think China Glaze doesn’t have the greatest staying power, so you really have to be strategic with the top coat you use, their Red Pearl is my absolute favorite Christmas Color.

I am having a big problem with infinite shine! They thicken up, and some colors are a pain to work with! They seem to dry while I’m painting! Super frustrating!

They're just fun to play with. 🙃I have Relentless Ruby and Malaga Wine. Love them both. I also love The Thrill of Brazil, it's a brilliant true red. My favorite shimmery burgundy OPI is Bogata Blackberry. Wish I could get Raisin Your Voice, but I just can't buy anymore. If you are still in Europe, and have access to H&M polishes, their colors are really saturated and have nice brushes. They make several red shades, my favorites are Fandango and Well Read. They might also have a good dupe for Rouge Noir. They make a gorgeous terracotta color, Sweet Talk, it's stunnng. Love your videos.

I love a few reds that are in there (malaga wine, big apple red, I'm not really a waitress) but my fave one so far is an underrated OPI called "got the mean reds" 😀 highly recommend it ! Plus holidays are a perfect time to wear red 😍

Infinite Shine and Essie Gel Couture are both long lasting polishes. They last about the same. From what I hear Essie GC might last better. Both were linked to some nail surface damage after long term use though.
Anna, I'm with you. MSL was all bouncy, I was witness to it. MSL, Anna just treats you like a mannequin, pushing you, pulling you and in general, manhandles you like you have no feelings. Why did you develop onycholysis? Normally I would say keep the nails short (to avoid more trauma to the nail plate and nail bed). Keeping the nails short and dry helps the nail plate re-attach to the nail bed. I would personally never extend them.

The best OPI “red” on me is Dutch Tulips-it has a slight pink tone in it instead of orange or blue.
It is so hard to choose a favorite. They are all beautiful colors. And please do swatches of those lovely Dior colors. Great job as always!

I have on Got the Mean Reds now for the first time. Can't say I like the formula or how smudgy it is when removing. It is a special colour though.
