Thank you for this. (I'm Italian). It's so heartening to see and read that there is still people in this world who use their brains and not just repeat slogans over and over again.
I've always voted for leftist parties in my life. This time, however, I decided to vote not for "political faith" but for the actual words that came from the politician's mouths. I agree with much Meloni says, so I voted for her and feel like i can't say it out loud without being insulted (oh yes freedom of speech). I voted her because she seems to be the one to understand the real issues Italy has, in practical terms (bills, businesses, cost of life, demographic fall, poverty of the south compared to the north) and especially about this crazy ideologic regime that has spread everywhere in the western world, taking away our identities, our freedom of speech, our right to be different and still respect each other.
Indeed, Meloni was mainly voted by working class and poor people, while the so-called left was mainly voted by middle and high class bourgeoisie and entrepreneurs. 😂 I think this says it all.
Also, while filling their mouth with words of love and respect and liberty, they (media, famous people and common people as well) are vomiting hatred on this woman and her family like she were some kind of Satan. Oh but they are the ones for the respect and freedom!!!
Lastly, I have to say that I have by now grown tired of politics, and quite disenchanted and skeptical, so I believe that probably nothing real will change in this country not even with this new leadership. Nothing will change especially when no one will be ready to listen. But I feel like this is still something new and I'm glad this gives you hope for a change.

Except, it not true. Georgia is not the new prime minister, she is the leader of the party who won the most seats (25%) of seats in the parliament. This means she is given the first chance to form a coalition govt, but she will need to.get support from other parties to do this. If she can't than the leader of the next biggest party will get the chance.
Also unlike Tucker, Georgia is very anti-Russia and pro-Ukraine, she is pro action on climate change and supports the current universal healthcare, age pensions, living minimum wage and all.the current social support programs.
So Tucker's rational right wing leader, on policies is far more left wing than anyone in the Drmocrat party.

I agree, climate change is real even in this part of the world (which rarely gets much attention on the world stage) the weather can be extremely unpredictable (sometimes it even rain's heavily when the sun is shining at the same time) it's a rather slow, almost invisible reality which has to addressed pragmatically and collectively but even it's most damaging effects (which would sadly be felt, mostly by the wildlife inhabitants or species of our planet, changing habitats and so on) could never be compared to a nuclear exchange involving hundreds of warheads with each one carrying the destructive power off 1000 Hiroshima bombs (such a scenario wouldn't just wipe out all life on earth 🌎 but would have a ripple effect that would effect many other nearby planet's with in our solar system with out sounding too grand or dramatic- it would be an unqualified, irreversible disaster), my point being let's try and settle out differences first before we can collectively solve a number of other issues threatening the survival of the human race.

The republican party for the most part has just been playing along with the Dems while pointing fingers for a long time for fear of reprisal. At the end of the day they have self centered elites just like the Dems do. Sure there's a few good apples but they don't have majority.
