It takes about 10 hours to load the tanker and up to 24 hours to unload. If it has to wait in port to get to an unloading dock, it can take up to 3 days.
The average tanker burns 2,625 gallons of diesel fuel per hour. 22.38 pounds of CO2 are created from burning 1 gallon of diesel fuel.
So, in one hour, a tanker ship hauling oil to a refinery in the US creates 58,757.5 pounds of CO2 per hour. Averaging the travel time of the tankers, that's 27.67 million tons of CO2 per trip.
In comparison, your car creates between 6 and 9 tons per year.
Without going into all the equations of how many tankers come to the US per year, let alone our exports, will someone please explain to me how drilling our own oil and moving it through pipelines, along with importing oil from Canada via pipeline will not be more environmentally "green" for the world.
Please explain to me why buying oil from another country is good for the environment??

I was born and raised in Mexico, and can tell you that I will never understand why people of Mexican decent vote democrat....it just doesn't make any sense to me. I think most people who vote Democrat just don't know no better. Their is no common sense in voting Democrat.
Democrats have a history of "encouraging" immigrants to vote for them. They take a group of immigrants and force them to vote for them because it's a cheap easy vote. Get enough of those people and pay them off and they can remain in office until the next cycle. Then renée and repeat. They been doing it since the 1880's. We know they do it but we can't do anything about because they hold the power.
If more innocent people come up to America. The cycle will only continue until either the Democrats hold power for an eternity or the Nation collapses. At this point they are probably care free and don't really care which comes first.
And not all Democrats are like that. Joe Manchin for example has broken ties with the Democrats. And some in Florida are kinda joining him. Like wise there are some Republicans breaking with the America First crowd and joining the Democrats.
To say that America's politics is broken would be an understatement.
Because Hispanics are very tribal, and the democrats play that identity political game very well.
Black people too, a large majority of them anyway, are usually conservative in terms of belief in God and such, but they're so caught up in identity politics that they are powerless to stop themselves from voting for the blue team. It's because of their innate tribalistic mentality.
Plus the democrats promise them "free" things and they easily fall for it.
White people are the only true swing voters, where they vote on policy rather than identity politics.
The data on this is unequivocally irrefutable on this.

Hence why the democrats have abandoned the White working class in favor of more easily attainable voting blocks by playing identity politics.
