And not throwing away hard copy books includes CDs and DVDs of great movies and television. It also means that those who have a little money should buy two or more copies of everything good, true, and beautiful. We are clearly headed for a Fahrenheit 451 kind of world.
Tucker isn't the only one talking about this. Rod Dreher, among others, has. Paul Kingsnorth probably has, as well. It wouldn't surprise me if Jordan Peterson has, as well.

I'm 55, Tucker, but I find I am completely aligned with your 82-year-old father. Everything that's happening feels like too much, too abrupt of a change, and I'm definitely too horrified to deal with it fully. I can't understand it or wrap my head around it, I have no idea how we got here. But I hope you're right about those beacons of light and truth. We're going to need a country full of those, a world full, to turn this around. Prayer is the best advice I've heard.

To be fair though he constantly lied, distorted and manipulated his viewers. Not always but a large chunk of the time. The worst part is that he didn't even need to lie half the time. While I watched Tucker and agreed with a lot of what he said, integrity matters and so I must point out that he lied every bit as much as the woke hacks at CNN and race hustlers at MSNBC.
