the red hair guy with the spear is not miquella by the way, and we still don't know if miquella is gonna be a big bad/ boss in this dlc yet. But lets get some Lore reacts!!! the whole community would love i know they would!

There’s a cool theory that miquella could be our guide like Melina since this seems like a continuation of the fractured ending where Melina sacrificed herself
I would find it hard to believe Miquella will be an enemy unless there is some unforseen circumstance we will only see in the DLC. Everything we hear of him speaks only of his honesty, purity and kindness. I think more he will be an ally in a war against Messmer.
People def speculate messemer is miquella i'm curious so see the validity of that

The guy you're confusing for Miquella is actually Messmer, The Impaler. He's one of Marika's children. The new area in the DLC is the Land of Shadow, which was once a part of The Lands Between (most likely was in the big chunk that's missing out of the middle of the map). Marika had Messmer lead a war on the ancient civilization that was there before them and concealed the land in shadows. Never to been seen or spoken of again. The Erdtree we see there in the DLC is likely the original Erdtree, and the one in The Lands Between is basically a phony illusion. That's why it's hollow on the inside.
Red hair guy is Messmer the Impaler. Not Miquella

If you've read Berserk, you might notice that Mesmer is a reference to the Flame Dragon Knight. DLC LOOKS SO HYPE.

The character design is inspired by the Flame Dragon Knight but the character of Messmer and the lore behind him was written by George RR Martin.

Pro tip: watch the Vaatividya lore video. Actually watch all of them. Then watch all of the other videos regarding elden ring lore. Idk if you heard about it, but when you play more of the FS games, dont skip Armored Core VI. Not what I wanted or was particularly interested in, but these people got me tearing up over some fucking robots. Loved every minute

I'm so hyped for this, it's the first time I'm going into a Fromsoft game and kind of understand how the games and their stories work
Elden ring lore is so good. Definitely my favorite thing about the game. Cant wait for your reaction!
My buddy and I did a playthrough together using the Seamless Co-op Mod and we only used fist weapons. We used a glitch to get into Leyndell very early, sub level 60 and beat Morgott to death. It was one of the easiest "challenge" runs ever. The spiked fist weapon with a dex bleed build and the fast roll is very good, has a lot of stagger too, but all the fist weapons stagger pretty well. Its a really fun play style. Could also do claw weapons.
I like fist weapons a lot. Especially with a bleed build. I am doing a a poison build with those snake fist weapons and the snake shield, it’s doing me really good in both pvp and pve. Those throwing daggers with bleed or something will probably be awesome.

There are a lot of really good lore channels on UA-cam; but as far as production quality and presenting a story goes, I don't think you can do any better than VaatiVidya. Vaati has a 30 min overall lore video, a 50 min video on Miquella, and a 40 min video on the DLC gameplay trailer (and I imagine will see a video on the newest trailer pretty soon).

Idk man... They say it too much. They sound like fanatics when they say it. And we have the line "He weilds love to shrive clean the hearts of men... There is nothing more terrifying." And Miquella's charm is described as impossible to resist, you must love him. I don't know what to think about Miquella.

You should probably now that you don't record yourself constantly, read through the Descriptions of Items and try to contemplate parts of the story as well as explore the World a bit more on your own. There are also Plenty of Videos that explain the Endings and The overarching Story in a kind of Detective way piecing the Lore together as good as possible. Smoughtown ,Vaati ,Ratatoskr i recommend the most . Maybe want to react to one specifically with us to it but i think you can also just watch em by yourself.

Something you NEED to know before going into the DLC is that the guy you keep calling miquella is NOT miquella, his name is messmer. That will help with the context of the trailers a lot

@@melosivitch Rennala isn't a demi-god. Melania nuked a whole continent and killed everyone in Cailed and attacked Radahn for no reason and corrupted him to wander the desert forever or until we beat him. Feeding off his own men .

Miquella is the golden haired being that appears at the very end of the first trailer. He is the one who most resembles his mother, Queen Marika, but Miquella was born cursed with eternal youth, so he's essentially stuck in the body of a child. Just like his mother he also has the ability to transform from male to female just as Marika transformed herself into Radagon. This power is used to hide their true identity and also to manipulate and seduce their enemies, which is what Queen Marika did by transforming into Radagon to seduce Renalla of the Full Moon, in an attempt to stop the Carrian Royals rebellion against the Golden Order.
