Great idea, you could put lights or other decor on top of the shelf to really maximize the space, although I realize there's not much space there. but great work :)
thank you and yessss, totally! currently, i use the top to store rolls of fabric and other backdrops :) sadly my apartment has a very low ceiling but if it was higher i'm sure lights or even folded up tripods could be stored up there.
Cool! You can also, buy a cheap shoplight and also hang it from either the shelf or bracket.

That’s a great idea, but I would be concerned as to how the lighting would react to the material of the blinds. If it is not Matte, for example like a paper backdrop you may have problems with flash etc. That being said, still a great idea and I’m sure there would be ways around this.

Looking to do something like this but perhaps mobile. The goal is to be able to hang cute hand painted backdrops for a dance studio. But nothing permanent can be affixed anywhere. Part of me is thinking rolling clothing racks may have to do, sad.

Nice video! Unfortunately, IKEA no longer has the Tuppler Shades & Ekler brackets. They have Fridans shades now. However, in your video, I could not tell what is at each end of the shade roll and how they attach to the bracket. Seems like they go in a groove. If I select a different bracket, I would need to make sure it is designed the same way so that the shade can attach to it. Do you know size of the bracket & how shade attaches?

@@ScottYuJan This video is definitely NOT useless! It shows your not inconsiderable creative skills and anyone watching can make adaptations to get the result. To that end I notice that IKEA (here in the UK at least) have replaced the Tupplur roller blind with FRIDANS. It's available in three colours (and varying widths from 1m upwards) and is cheap at £15 (UK pounds) about $20 (USD). Maybe put a comment in the description explaining this to help anyone viewing in future.
In any case, keep up the great work - you have an appealing style that should translate into a strong following on UA-cam if you can keep the content coming. Good luck :-)
