Easily one of the very best instruction videos I've seen. Clear and comprehensive. Watched this and was able to very confidently program my rebranded version of this product. Came back to thos vodeo when I accidentally switched my timer off trying to activate manual watering. THANK YOU!
This was very helpful, mainly as in the instruction book it says not to place in rain, and that would mean the sensor wouldn't work. You have cleared up this printing error for me.
very good device, however, mine does not stoo waterflow strangely, i think my water outlet is within the operating pressure. So, water stopping mechanism can be reseted or can this water leaking through the device be fixed?
Hi there, thank you so much for your message and sorry you are having a few problems with the timer. Can you please contact our Customer Service number (check our website, the number will be different depending if you are in the US or Australia) and we'll be able to assist you better with this enquiry. I'm positive we'll get this sorted!
Question. If I set the hours for 12 hours and chose day one does that mean it will run for only one day a week every 12 hours or will it run every day every 12 hours. As I want to water every 12 hours every day of the week
Hello Shirley! To confirm, you're aiming to water the plants every 12 hours. If that's correct, begin by selecting a start time, such as 9 am. Next, specify the duration for which you'd like the watering to occur, either in minutes or hours. Afterwards, set the interval, which in your situation would be 12 hours. In case it displays "DAYS" next to the 'How often' section, you can adjust that to hours. If you can't get this to work for whatever reason, please call our friendly customer service and they will assist you.
Great idea, we certainly hope to further develop this product in the future. One issue we have come up against is a lot of garden taps are located in a shaded area, which means the timer wouldn't charge. But we will continue to work on a solution :)
Hi Diane, thank you for your question. It’s a 24-hour clock format, so you’ll be able to easily tell. Please let us know if you have any further questions ☺️
Hi Charlie, thank you for your question. Yes, you can set the timer up to run twice a day. However, you will have to set up two separate watering schedules (P1 and P2). One to come on at 5am every day and the other at 8pm every day.
Hi. If the time now is 1100 for example, If I set a program (P1) to turn on at 2200 for 50 minutes and how often = 3 days, will the first operation of the timer be at 2200 on the same day and then at intervals of 3 days indefinitely or will it wait 3 days before turning on for the first time. "Now time" window suggests first watering will be in 12 hours time and counting down. So, what if I don't want it to turn on that first evening, but want to delay first watering for 3 days. Is that possible. R
Hi Rob, thanks for your comment. You need to set the timer on the day you want the watering to start, unfortunately you cannot delay its start. So if you want the timer to begin watering at 22:00 on a Thursday, for example, you will need to programme it on that day and it will then start the next time the clock strikes 22:00. Hope that helps!
Hi Ron, thank you for your question. The timer allows you to set up a customised watering schedule, so you can choose what days and times you would like to water or not. The rain delay function kicks in automatically if rain is detected thanks to the built-in sensor. You can also manually select rain delay if you want to skip a day's watering and your schedule will resume the following day. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with our Customer Service team on 1300 900 617 or via the online chat at hoselink.com.au if you want to discuss this product further.
Saya ingin menyiram tanaman 3 kali dalam 1 hari terus menerus Dan saya agak bingung di pengaturan jam dan hari Bagaimana cara mengatur untuk terus menerus?
Hi Yibel, thanks for your question. If set to every hour, then it will water every hour on every day until the settings are changed, as the delay would only be set to 1 hour, rather than by day. Unfortunately, this Timer only allows you to set one delay at a time. So you can choose to water for a time period of your choosing every Wednesday by setting it up on the desired day and using the 7-day delay function. But, unfortunately, you cannot set up a second delay, i.e. once per hour. If you would like any further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Customer Care team here: www.hoselink.com.au/pages/contact-us
I need it to run for an hour . every 2 hours for 6 cycles ( 9 am - 8 pm ). is that possible ? not till midnight when the next day starts then the daily schedule start over or it just keep going ? , I am unclear in this functionality aspect of this product. I have tried to set 2 programs to turn the first off when I want it to stop, but the programs will not over ride the One other . thanks for any help .
Hi Slevin, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, you will not be able to set the timer to come on for a certain time period. It can be scheduled to come on every 2 hours but not for a set time. If you would like any further help with this product, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer care team via our online chat here: www.hoselink.com.au or by calling 1300 900 617 Monday to Friday (9am to 5pm).
For some reason, even in manual water mode the outlet is just having some drops .. Something is blocked in between as the source has a huge pressure but in output it's very very weeks, just some drops..
Hi Mainak, sorry to hear you're having this problem. Please contact our friendly customer care team via www.hoselink.com.au/pages/contact-us and they will be happy to assist you.
why my timer suddenly pause and turn off the screen. cannot turn on back if hold exit pause button. Need to remove the battery and put in back then reset the timer. what's the problem ?
Hi, and thank you for your message. This sounds like there's an issue with the software. Please contact our Customer Service (details on our website) and we'll help you out!
Hi Vinh, you can set the Timer to water anywhere between every 1 hour, up to every 15 days. The 'how often' refers to how long you want the watering session to last. This can be set anywhere between 1 minute up to 99 minutes. For example, you can set the Timer to run for 5 minutes every 7 days. This will then turn on for 5 minutes every 7 days. Hope this helps!
That’s all well and good but ours has moisture inside the screen so we cannot read it completely as partially covered by moisture drops. We bought this a few months ago and used it last time we went away and it didn’t work as had a blockage in the filter so I lost a lot of my plants, so we cleaned it and are going to try again. Another poor quality hoselink product
Hi Mandy, thank you for your comment. Please contact our Customer Service desks and they will do what they can to rectify your issue with the Automatic Tap Timer.

Hoselink is a service excellence company. There is no better company to deal with. My experiences have been overwhelmingly positive.
That was just brilliant so easy to understand and follow 😊

That was a perfect detailed instruction of the water timer. Thanks
We're so glad it helped, thanks for your kind comment :)
I want something like this for my front garden where I got a tap. Is there any accessories to lock the timer to prevent thieves?
Hi there, unfortunately not, there is no way to lock the timer to the tap.

Can this be connected with a 2 way adapter and a hose end rather than straight to the tap? Thank you for your easy to follow videos!
Hope you can make a solar version of this.

We have had a double AA timer for years…no benefit in a solar powered one. Think of those solar powered lights in the garden…hopeless.
Is there a way to tell if the clock is set for am or pm?
Hi Diane, thank you for your question. It’s a 24-hour clock format, so you’ll be able to easily tell. Please let us know if you have any further questions ☺️
hi , how can i set it to watering every day except on wednesday ?
Very well done. I still cannot get my timer to work each night however!
Hi Bill, we’re sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your Timer. Please reach out to our customer service team and they will happily assist you.
