Great video, Brock! As you know, I have a 3046R. I decided on a 3 series tractor, mostly because of the hydraulic capacity and the ground clearance. The R series has a lot of bells and whistles that the other 3 series tractors don't, but the one that stood out was the heavier front axle. The economy tractors in the 3 series generally come with front axles of lower weight capacity. I move some pretty heavy logs around, so I wanted to make sure I didn't stress the tractor too much by choosing that smaller axle. I may never need all the horsepower but found all the other traits a necessity for me. And after several years of using it, I'm completely satisfied. The larger size concerned me when the thought of tight spaces in the woods came up, but the split brakes handled that issue perfectly. And the horsepower may come in handy when I finally get a tiller and a flail mower. I love the way you always compare tractors. So far, you've said nothing to make me regret my purchase, but you do say plenty when it comes to driving my desire for more implements! Love your channel. Keep up the good work!
I bought my Kioti CK3510 SE Hydrostatic tractor, added Factory 3rd function, six foot rototiller, duel cylinder grapple, pallet forks and a six foot flail mower in 2021. The out the door price for everything including tax was just over $30,000.00. I also got zero down and 0% financing for 84 months. I found that deal hard to beat and I haven't had one problem or one regret in the last 2 years with any of it. Great Tractor.. Bill Hensley..
Great video.. I had the 3032E and was not happy with the lift capacity of the loader. So I moved up to the 3033R and this one has been great for all the different tasks I get into. The power, the size the lift have been just enough. But yes, the price up there for the R series.
I believe JD top 2 sellers of small tractors are the 1025R and the 3025E. For our came down to the Kubota Grand L or the JD 3R series. We wanted the deluxe features that each brand had. Since we are older, we wanted to pay for the convenience features and bought the additional options that are available on the more economical series of each brand. We ended up with Kubota due to availability. We have had the tractor just over a year and we all enjoy what it can do.
Unless there was a big difference in operating RPMs, the 3025e sounds less whiny in the video. The 2 series almost has the HST whine like some other brands.
I really like the 2r series but wish it had the 3 speed transmission that the 3r series had. I think the big problems i have with the 3E series is non removable loader, lack of 3 speed and the lack of mid pto. I get that not everyone needs those items but all of the competitors have them at the same price.
There's a large JD dealer here, acres of green. They advertise a lot on TV and radio, and in print. They push the packages, tractor, trailer, brush hog. I didn't realize there were so many different models, it would be hard to choose!
I think that’s the first 3E tractor you have had on ur channel. Bitter sweet day for me to say the least. I would like to see a real world heads up comparison between the 2 loaders. On paper I believe yours lifts around 400 lbs more. That’s a huge difference on a small tractor….
Brock, I don't remember when you said you bought yours, but tractor prices have jumped a good bit since 2019. Steve's identical package today is likely $5K more.
Yeah, I overstated the price difference at the end. He bought his in 2019 and the tractor was around 17,000 by itself. I bought mine in 2020 and the tractor was 27,000 by itself Mine has went up $4000 in three years
I've been wondering the same thing, it seemed like they were planning and working together on UA-cam and then all of a sudden Billy vanished... would like to here what happened..
@Southern_Ohio_Acres I think I’m going to pick back up on those type of episodes. I don’t know if Billy will be in it or not. He has twin boys playing high school sports, which takes up a lot of his time besides regular family stuff.

Awesome video. I have been looking for this comparison.
Brock, I bet you were wondering if I’d comment, yes I will, good to see 2 green tractors on this episode.
Howdy Brock! Really interesting video - enjoyed it! Both the comparison and the work on the drainage ditch. Thanks for sharing 🤠
3025e is the most popular tractor at my Deere dealer. 80% of the compact tractors on the lot are the 3025e.
Unless there was a big difference in operating RPMs, the 3025e sounds less whiny in the video. The 2 series almost has the HST whine like some other brands.
I noticed that as well
Two tractors, working in tandem, get a lot of work done quickly.
John Deere is Awesome for the larger tractors, only these little compact kinda to look a bit funny compared to the other brands 🤷🤔

IH and IH Case 😊

The smaller tires and higher horsepower equate to the 2038 having a lot more torque for pulling
I like the look of the 3025e better, the wheel and tire size but think the actual weight of it is less than yours stock to stock with a loader.
Morning
What’s up with the TYM hat? Is there a surprise coming?
No. I befriended the local TYM dealership at the homesteading expo, and they gave me a hat.
Nice looking hat with the leather patch
Been several guest appearances on the channel lately. But I’m wondering what happened to Billy?
I've been wondering the same thing, it seemed like they were planning and working together on UA-cam and then all of a sudden Billy vanished... would like to here what happened..
He is a friend. We still chat some but mainly he just got busy
Busy is good. Liked the good ol’ boys podcast stuff. Thx for the update.
