Delirious was the soundtrack to my life as a young Christian, Stu-G and the band shaped the sound of worship for so many, we owe him and them a great debt for giving us a voice for our worship to Jesus.
I genuinely had to check to see if I’d written that! Because I certainly could have done!
One of my all-time favorites and getting a close-up look at the man himself playing it was just awesome!!
Michael W. Smith did a concert at our church a few years back. I had just bought a sunburst Starplayer Tv. Stu G was playing with MWS and among the few guitars he brought, primarily he played his Starplayer Tv, also sunburst. I got a picture with him after the show, both of us holding our Starplayers and then afterwards, I asked him to sign the pickguard of mine. He posted the pic on his instagram which was super cool. At that time JHS kilt was also in preproduction and not yet announced to the public. He had the prototype on his board then, which I took a pic of. It was great meeting him and having that experience!
Stu G one of my top 3 Delirious songs listen to it nearly every day.... Other 2 are Obsession and You Split the Earth (new recording version). Thanks for blessing us.

This is song and the rest of the album is probably solely responsible for keeping me worshiping thru several of my darkest days.
Delerious' album Glo is my favorite worship album. The way that each song flows into the next makes it a really cohesive worshiping along with / listening. The guitar tones and playing on it are a big part of that.

Stu just gave us a tutorial. UA-cam has a “playback speed” function, so you can slow it down.
@@benjaminthancock umm, no…this was a play-through. A tutorial includes “tutoring” where insight is given as to how to play, and, ideally, the thinking behind why. I’ve been figuring songs out by ear for over 30 years, so that’s not why I’m asking about the “tutorials”.

I never realised the song was actually in Standard Tuning until the end where its changes to Drop D, I always played it in Drop D when I tried learning it 😅
