- Elden Ring is finally getting a dlc later this year so lets find out if Elden Ring is finally worth buying for anyone out there who hasn't experienced it.
This is my Elden Ring review in 2024 and i hope it convinces anyone out there who hasn't given Elden ring a chance yet to do exactly that.

I am still on the fence a bit as how I am with all games I ever buy unless there like 10 bucks (god bless steam sales and god bless Devil may Cry) however if I catch the game on sale I will def consider picking it up. 30$ is a bit much on sale but I will just have to see where my money is at when the time comes. Don’t under sell the story. Fromsoft is easily one of not the best at crafting a story with twists and turns and foreshadowing. Plus the care that went into the lore/world building is just *chefs kiss

IDK it looks amazing but I'm not really sure if it wouod be something for me to enjoy.
And it's still really expensive on PC.
Elden ring couldve cut the game by like 50 hours if they dkdnt make it the grind tough itd a 100 hour game but 50 of tjose hours are jsut you gling back to the same places to farm xp
I finished Bloodborne, DS1-3 before but couldn’t find any love for ER no matter how many times I try. I just don’t like it at all.

Saying eldin ring isn't an overall hard game would be lying to someone if they were an average gamer. But you decide how hard it is. Learn from your mistakes, level up, work towards getting a good weapon. Or whine and keep getting one shot by the same enemy
Buy “Ghost Of Tsushima”instead. The primary reason is it’s fun,and not confusing.

This game is sooo boring from the first minutes.
All these souls games just look so dated to me. The animations, the HUD, graphics, all looks PS3/early PS4 ever since Bloodborne
This is exactly how I felt loading it up the other day. I feel I'm meant to enjoy it but everything moves so clunky to my eyes.

@@thesongoflunchrn there focused on the new dlc comin out but hey you never know could come with a graphic overhaul and lower graphics so people will worse graphics can enjoy as Well so if your in it fir the stunning graphics like modded skyrim you wont find it but it does have that classic eldeb souls style which I love the dark souls franchise

@@yourgrandma189 nah I honestly haven't but for me the issue isn't even graphical. It's the HUD, the feel, and the way you actually play the game that put me off. I'm not even a graphics guy
Over rated
This one is one of those so called "stand out" games. You come across one of these play it for a while... And you only realise how great the game truly is by the passing of time, because all the other games you have been playing, could not even come close.
Elden Ring is definitely one of the best games ever made, period.
Just buy sifu…your welcome.. this game feels like a troll.
You know what…. DO buy this…….THEN buy sifu and you’ll see that Sifu is the core combat that this game should be at this point… -if it would have evolved with time.
This game is like a PS1 game that got a gorgeous, modern visual over haul…..but the 2005-like combat system is left unchanged.
These devs are extremely talented and they have money, but the core of the game (the combat and hit boxes, animations and buttons that dont acknowledged that you pressed them) …-are intentionally shitty as if it’s low budget, low talent on the devs part (not true. Talented devs with money). Enemies break physics to land a hit, though you made a correct move away from their swing trajectory. Homing strikes. Took me 80hrs to admit that my coordination wasn’t bad, the game was.
Take the Sifu challenge, if you decide to try this first.
You want a simulation of the mechanics? Go back and play your favorite gravely outdated fight game..
Tbf I have a video on sifu and I fucking love that game mate. Might be one of the best games I’ve played. It’s so good

I’m running on 2 days of insomnia… and just picked elden back up after a year.. this will be my 7th time reinstalling it…. It set me off today and this was the first place I ended up going… so I let out alot of… well, I vented the rage.
This is one of those games where I know there is a dead end for me… like I said 80hr of pure TRYING, a year ago, to make me love it and understand it. I want to enjoy it like everyone else can…
This world is so irresistible.. but that all gets ruined, by mechanics and game structure…but I see glimpses of being able to live with it if I could find its better half.
Sifu has same game structure where all roads lead to a boss that you are going to have to… DROP EVERYTHING and study into monotony. -sometimes for days, till you say what am I doing? It’s madness.
I have 35hr in sifu campaign, the game is so rewarding, but I have 265hr, maybe 300hr in just the Arena mode.. it’s pure heaven.
I’m bout to go watch a guide for Elden. I apologize for shitting in the comments. Insomnia was a big part of that.
Whats you favorite level in Sifu? Mines the club.. I never go further than that.. no need to.
