Mr Roger's has possibly the calmest voice in all of television!
His soft-spoken manner is a delight to the ears.
Edited specifically for unintentional ASMR to help you fall asleep.

Mr Rogers changed my life when I was a little girl. After my parents’ divorce, I rarely saw my father. I was suffering so much because I wasn’t getting any guidance or validation from a male role model. When I discovered Mr Rogers’ show on PBS when I was about 6 years old, I was blown away. Mr Rogers looked right into the camera and said, “you are important. You are valuable. You have so much to give. Do you know how special you are?” Completely life changing.
❤😢❤
Fabulous to read such a heartwarming tale ❤
@@mellee8637 thank you so much 😊
That’s beautiful ❤
Thank you for sharing this. ❤
This is what this world is missing. We need Mr. Rogers back. Nobody else like him
Him and Bob Ross ❤️

I'm certain someone not "woke "could fill those shoes well, but no one could ever replace that gem of a man. He brought healong, comfort & validation to so many people, young & old.
I think he wanted all of us to internalize his teachings and go on to spread joy and love in our individual spheres. We honor him if we turn his teachings into our actions.
@@HellHathNoFury.If he was still alive you people would call him woke
There is no phoniness about this man. He actually practiced what he preached. Wonderful, Godly man. R.I.P. Fred Rogers.
I think if Mr Rogers and Bob Ross were still here, getting them together just conversing with each other would be the ultimate asmr experience.
Yessss
The first interview that no one on Earth would ever be able to start and finish in one sitting.
Ha!
There’s an animation of this. It’s Bob Ross vs. Mr. Rogers. I’ll find the link, but you’ll love the ending.
It’s called Bob Ross beats the devil out of it 2
Mr Rogers taught me how to draw a star when I was little! On his show he said he would wait while I got a piece of paper and a crayon. Meanwhile my parents were not involved in my life beyond the basics. Mr Rogers gave me nurturing and encouragement that I so desperately needed.
Sweetness
He taught me to change the elbow trap in a kitchen sink. I used that knowledge as a housewife on a tight budget and thanked him for saving me from using my grocery money on a plumber.
He’s the only guest I’ve seen that could keep Charlie Rose quiet.
It’s edited
Precious, precious man!! My sweet little boy, who is now 41, sat at the feet of Mr. Rogers everyday!! He absolutely adored him, and we can all see why!! He knew child speak and they were drawn to him!! Thank you, Mr. Rogers, for loving our children and an guiding them in the right way!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I want to listen to everything he says, it’s soothing but not boring
I’m 51, born in 72. I remember the Electric Company, the old Sesame Street, reruns of Mickey Mouse Club and Captain Kangaroo…but Mr. Rogers is the only one who brought a touch of patience, kindness, joy, and respect to his show. I had many first lessons learned from him. He was the epitome of what and how Jesus wants us to treat and love each other.
sorry bud, Captain Kangaroo was the 2nd coming of Jesus. too bad you missed Him. ✝️
He was always my favorite ( shout out to 1972 ). However, The Electric Company made a difference in reading and spelling. I loved that one as well❤ We had the best shows as children, back in the day ( my opinion) School House Rock ? Yes ❤
Even being born in 95 I have strong and fond memories of Mr. Rogers. So many great lessons. Truly a godly man and he never had to say it. You could see it in his actions. I even Ended up joining the same college fraternity that he did 😂
me2 born in 72. I grew up in Pittsburgh. Remember Zoom?
Ahhhhh...them were the good ol' days!!👍👍😀😀
Mr. Rogers gave me the love, validation and sense of self-worth that I often didn’t get from my family. I’m eternally grateful that he was there when I was a kid… he was one of a kind and such a gentle spirit. RIP ❤
He brought an aura of peace and kindness to the world. Only recently became aware of him, but he still teaches us to this day. Rest easy Mr Rogers.
He sounds like a modern day spiritual guru. He was way ahead of his time
He was just a good person, for any time.
He was a minister. 🤦🏽♀️
His comments about machines/computers in this video were very prescient I think

How dare you
This is such a privilege to see this.
He wouldn’t have ever imagined how he still will be influencing folks to listen to their children.
Thank you for this.
❤❤❤ I was fortunate enough to grow up near Pittsburgh so I got to watch Fred Rogers from his earliest years on his local program The Children’s Hour through Mr. Rogers neighborhood. I am in my 70s now and still watch his programs whenever I get the chance.
Pretty amazing, his legacy.
I’m 36 and this man was such a big part of my life. I love this man
I truly believe that this man was a saint
He was a very wise man. We need more people like him.
He was such a calming presence.
Just like Bob Ross.
His observations are so much more profound now in our day.
Great human. Watched as a kid. It was interesting to hear him talk about machines being looked at as more important as people. He really hit the nail on the head for our current society. Miss his wisdom.
"when I was told there was a character with a television in its stomach, I was horrified" I died laughing, so sad but hilarious
I would be too, they're not good for your digestive system.
We need him now more than ever ❤ I have so many incredible fond memories watching Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, being a 90s kid. What a treasure ❤
I loved watching him when I was a child. He helped me feel peaceful in the midst of turmoil. I didn't understand his depth, but I definitely sensed there was something more to him.
We need this more than ever!
Thank you,I loved his show.
Humble,loving educating.
Yes read,read to your children.
We have that memory.
Here's a story about Mr. Rogers. I was head of public affairs at my PBS station in Dallas, Texas. I was put in charge of ferrying Rogers around to different personal appearance locations where children were always present. So, in the car, he would gird himself for ear-piercing screams from 5-year olds that would damned near take the top of your head off. Then, the children would crawl all over him. He would give a speech and we would go to the next venue. We got to one location at an Episcopal Church. I stopped the car and he sat in the front seat with his eyes closed, speechless. Then he -- understandably, from my persepctive -- said something to the effect that these appearances take every bit of energy he has because they were so intense. My recollection is that he said this with some amount of dread in his voice as he was about to immerse himself in another covey of ear-piercing screams and snotty little kids grabbing at him. It was then that I realized that being Mr. Rogers was no easy task.
I didn't know he had 2 kids! I can't imagine hime doing the deed. He's too pure. (No disrespect intended)
@evoz4489 haha listen to his wife talk about him! She has a whole different view point that not many others saw except maybe their own personal friends :)
He was truly a great man. If ever a man existed who honestly walked the talk, it was Fred Rogers. 😊
Fred Rogers was really a special human being with a special soul. Not many people bring so much happiness and joy to so many lives.
I love this! Mr. Rogers is my life role model. I have been looking for a video of him talking that I could listen to when I wake up and can't fall back to sleep, but there was always the interviewer's voice, too! This is perfect. Thank you so much! And thank you, Fred.
A celebrity that was actually a good person and a beautiful soul. So rare.
He was a real life angel
Mr Roger’s was a born again Christian, I can’t wait to visit with him in heaven one day. What a blessing of a man.
@@user-xq9zl6gm2i don’t be fooled by Satan. Open your eyes, EVERYTHING prophesied in the Bible is coming to pass.
There is nothing more special to have ever emerged from American media than Fred Rogers, and there never will be.
I’m listening to this Genius again and will save it to listen again. I’m Soaking it up! I’m taking notes! To say to your child”these are things you can do to enhance this family” How important it is to feel needed! And when he speaks of Valuing the one on one moment you’re in with whoever you’re with is So Essential. To listen without thinking how you want to respond. I’ve been practicing this and it’s bringing me such Joy! Making someone feel essential.People love it. And it makes Me feel essential! People often look deep into my eyes because they know and FEEL me listening and I see what I think is their Soul. It Wakes me up to what I’m experiencing the Same Soul in me! Thank you whoever put this up for us to experience. I love you Mr Rodgers 💗🤭
I'm a teacher, and I can learn so much from him. He was so amazing. He really understood the philosophy of life and invariably highlights the most significant elements of life. The things that truly matter.
When that man talks, you listen. RIP Sir.
No machine can replace a person. WOW. I got chills.
Love Mr Rogers. A beautiful soul.
He was more than a nice man. He was a good, kind man. We need more of him, more now than ever.
To anyone reading this and needing to hear it:
You are a blessing. You are a gift. You *are* special in your own way and the world is better with you in it.
Every one of us has an affect on people we didn't even realize, so take that gift seriously and share a moment of kindness, it costs nothing.
I loved his show as a kid.
Of course he has a Saint-Exúpery quote from The Little Prince in his office. ❤
I loved this man because he offered a glimpse of the beauty missing in my life. When I offered to take my mom to see the 2019 movie, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, she declined saying that she had always detested him and his program. That explains a lot. I never missed a show from its release in 1968 (I was 6) for the next five or six years. I dreamed of a father like him. My children also watched Mr. Rogers a little--we had no television in our home, so it was unusual to catch it. He made a huge impression on me though sadly not enough to erase my parents' influence. But little by little I've adopted His gentleness and shed their harshness. At sixty, I try to be like Him on my way to becoming more Christlike.
God bless this man. ❤ I loved watching his program growing up.
oh this is really nice. i love listening to voices as i go to sleep, and this is soooo soothing.
Truly listen to what he is saying and try to apply these principles in your own life, ever day, little by little.
I never realized his significance until I was older. He is sorely needed these days.
Wise beyond his years. We miss you. ❤
Legend, and quality human.
I can’t relax with that apostrophe stuck in there. 😂
RIGHT?!😵💫
It really annoy's me too. The scriptwriter's should know where apo'strophe's go. Maddening i's'nt it?

Rea'lly ge'ts on my ner'ves too
Why don't they air reruns on tv? Ive never seen an episode since the 80's
Really? It was still coming out all the way through the 90s. Like new episodes. It must have been something about your area's PBS maybe?
For a good asmr experience I tune out the words and let the voice wash over me. But Fred Roger's words are so wonderful that I just have to listen.
even this comment section is beautiful and healing
What a wonderful man.
This really helped me sleep, thank you so much!
Charlie Rose flipping through his notes and not listening was telling.
Ignorance.
We miss you Fred Rogers. Love this man so much!
My Parents rented a place on nantucket that happened to be right next to Mr. Rogers. Said he was the most genuine nice guy and just like on TV. And then he put on a bright red swim cap and went swimming slaps for an hour
And his house his a small modest shack, you can look it up
So brilliant such a gift to this world ❤
Hearing him say he was “horrified” by the teletubbies 🤣 out of context; he was talking about how it’s bad for people to elevate machines above other human beings (he said he was “horrified” at the thought of the characters having televisions in their stomachs). Anyway I think it’s interesting to note given how these days AI is taking over so many things.
Mr rogers was a happy moment in my life growing up I hope all the kids of now n the future can watch him also ❤️ im so thankful I was able to
Agreed 👍.
1:34 I knew it! John Cena is Mr. Rodgers in disguise!!
You can't see that!
🤣🤣🤣
He was a special person.
Mr. Roger's and those cardigans were iconic.
Very soothing to hear this man talk again. However the ads that play throughout the video are sure loud and abrasive.
Agreed.
Charlie's voice is great for ASMR too.Used to watch his public TV show 35 years ago for that very purpose.
he’s a sexual predator but whatever floats your boat.
Please do this with Joanna Lumley interviews. Her voice makes me so sleepy.
Ask and you shall receive! I just posted a Joanna Lumley video!
@UnintentionalASMRR omg I love you 🤣 thank you 😊
'Up in town' is phenomenal. Her voice is sublime.
What a lovely man he was. One of the best children show host him also can teach quite a few lessons to adults as well. Not only for helping us parent our children but helping us with ourselves.
Wow -- an era gone - class personalized - and dignity … our policians / leaders should take a look at this
To Unintentional ASMR:
I love the thumbnail image of Mr. Rogers for this video.
What a beautiful soul! Very Genuine and Truthful.
So very thankful for Mr Rogers ❤❤❤
What a beautiful soul.
He is the best of humankind
Everyone needs Mr Roger's
I reckon Edward Norton could play him, they both have a likening 😅
Agreed!!
THANK YOU!
Love this. We try and be silent!
Cliche, but Fred Rogers, Bob Ross and Steve Irwin were the trifecta of peace, love and understanding.
Wow. Thanks for posting. Never heard of the guy. Very sage advice. Delivered so calmly.
Omg I loved Mr Rodger’s growing up ❤he will be missed by millions , his voice is so soothing to listen to …..
Mr. Rogers is the goat 🐐!
Loved Fred Rogers ❤
Charlie Rose, quit shuffling papers!
He gives off the image of being uninterested.
he’s sorting through his sexual assault lawsuits

Great man. Great role model
A wise and good man.
What a legend
Lemme find out Mr. Rogers is giving out tingles!! Wow!
Within the first three seconds of hearing him speak, I got tingles.
mr rogers Jesus
“Graceful receiving” what a beautiful way to talk about listening to a person. I want to receive what is truly you and to value it. This is “true religion” as the scriptures say, or truly the way of Christ
God bless you, Mr. Rogers.
Mr Rogers was my early childhood ❤
Amazing
If the intention of this is to fall asleep, it isn't working.....but, that's fine. His wisdom makes me think a lot of positive thoughts!
I have a humongous tattoo of the neighborhood trolley on me to remember to be more like Mr. Rogers than any human could be. I’m a foster parent and I’d love my children and I am cis gendered white Christian stay at home mom and I love every flavor of humanity. I can’t imagine having hate in my heart based on skin color or spiritual belief. I can’t imagine a better human than Mr. Rogers. I don’t know if the Bible is true, but love and acceptance and peace are true and Mr. Rogers was on film being a true humanwith love and decency. We all fall short, and should strive to be more like him.
“How can we encourage people to have more silence? Real revelation comes through silence.” Words we truly value and seek today more than ever before
Mr Rogers & Bob Ross are just so peaceful. They were both saints.
If I could see Bob Ross and Mr Roger together discussing how to relax and how everything is ok I think it would make my life
Imagine sitting through a class at 7:00 am with a professor who talked exactly like this guy, fighting to stay awake after a sleepless night studying for an exam… that was college and I hated that class with that infamous unintentional ASMR professor 😩😩
This man was a saint.
