Hey Chris just wanted to say thank you for the backpack suggestion. Been traveling Retire and Go style throughout Mexico this year and it has been a magic genie of a backpack. Thank you for the suggestion.
Oh, Chris❤. Warsaw is so charming, all the green and red holiday wreaths, garland, trees, and lights . I could walk all day there. The architecture is incredible, I could feel I was in heaven there walking those cobblestone streets. Lovely video. The ice skating brought back memories. The warm cherry vodka that's quite interesting, I haven't had alcohol in 15 years, but that drink looked inviting, One sip is all I would need! Nice work on this one,it must be very, very cold your hair is so long! Oh, Snowball Dog was truly happy😂
Thanks for the tips! I am also a backpack traveler, as I find it so much easier to get around when I only have to lug around a backpack. Also it keeps me from overpacking! That soup looks great; I will be in Krakow next month and am looking forward to trying all of the food!
@@RetireandGo 2025 is going to be all Europe then I will save money next year by going to Asia. This year includes Amsterdam, Brussels, Seville, Costa Del Sol, Antalya, Fethiye and Tbilisi so far, but I am still working on the rest of the plans! I actually did a video about it if you want to watch it and will be posting regular updates about my travels!
You should stop in a bakery while there for the old school bread and goodies. Add some goat cheese, a can of quality sardines and you have dinner at home base. Every EU country has it's version of the French "pain de campagne" of which i am a fan. My co-workers were telling me often to visit Prague. How do you work the phone question when traveling? A temporary sim-card for that region, EU and Asia for example? I am tech ignoramus. Thank you for the tips.
I really appreciate this video series and the idea of how to afford "more expensive" areas... it's how I've been thinking in my mind and find this so helpful to see it in action.👍😁
Aloha my friend, that is a good tip for Expedia bookings. What a wonderful city Old Warsaw to walk around and enjoy the buildings. Love the soup in the bread, just eat the whole dish. Thank you for the feedback about the counties I mentioned. When I looked at the maps I thought they were all eastern European countries. Mahalo for the wonderful video and looking forward to you next adventure. Mahalo my friend 🤙
Chris, hope you're having a great time in Europe (although it's a bit chilly compared to SE Asia)- I was wondering if, throughout your travels, if you've ever compiled a short list of places in SE Asia that you would consider using as your "home base" so to speak? Would you consider doing a video of your favorite places that you would choose to live more permanently? Thanks.
Love this :) My man is Polish and we plan to go when our son is a little bit older (he is 5 now and we're taking him to visit family in the Philippines this summer). Do you use frequent traveler/airline miles?
Highly recommend Fuerteventura (and other Canary Islands) if you're in that part of Europe. Lovely scenery there! Definitely on the pricey side though...
Immediately I wonder if expedia should pay you for a service (I didn't see a link in your description) but maybe there's a way to add more $$ for your travels if that company sponsors... just curious 'bout that but I do click on your links, etc cause I'm interested in a camera, travel insurance, etc... good luck out there...
It’s like I’m right behind you and doing similar travels. Currently in Hua Hin and heading to Greece next week. I’m finding accommodation is quite expensive even in the off season. I’ll keep researching for cheaper deals but wondering how are you doing travelling whilst in a country? Buses? Cheers for great content mate
@ hey thanks for your honest reply. My mum used to talk also in what she called her “royal we” too. You are inspiring many other humans by walking your talk. To walk the talk takes a very strong being with integrity. You’re doing it. 🙏💛🌈💫🦋
It's nice that you like it in Poland. However, I have to point out the second, some inaccuracies. You talk a lot about Eastern Europe. But you have to go there, because Poland is not Eastern Europe. Once before 1989, that's what they said. But only because we were in the eastern sphere of influence. However, even then Poland was located in central Europe :) just to clarify. Germany and Austria are not in Western Europe. And Poland is not in the east. We are all. Central European countries.
In Thailand I’m sure he does as he said he has friend groups there etc there but hard to find people to mingle with in a 5 day trip in Poland when travelling alone.
Attitude of Gratitude
This is the way :-)
Greetings from Poland👍
Greetings to you and thank you :-)
Thank you for showing how you are able travel through Eastern Europe on a budget. Safe travels. Mahalo.

Love tose coffee machines in hotels. Try mixing an espresso with a latte.😋 You got a great deal on this trip!
I think so too
I’m finding good package deals going through Europe

Let us know if you will head over to Romania, Bulgaria or maybe even Moldova. So much to see in eastern europe.
I’m going to see some of those absolutely

Go to the department store...You can get a big puffer jacket fod 20€ this time of year.
True
It’s cold haha
I’m wearing three layers though I’ll be good
Layering is the key to multi country travel :-)
Why do you speak in the plural? Great video, thank you. Awesome that you’re in Europe!
Hmm I’m not sure

I hear that Tunisia has mild winters and is inexpensive. Have you been? Just curious.
Hmm not yet
So many places to see !

It must be heavy to pack wintrer clothes in a backpack? or do you just grab low cost clothing at your destination?
Second hand store in Texas where my brother and dad live
I’ll donate them to the first hotel in Thailand
Still, one backpack! Boom !
What's that thing dropping on your right shoulder at 6:24?
Liść

I noticed that too
Was it a leaf?
I thought maybe a ninja cat found me !
Is poland safe ? I read there are many pickpockets and burglary in italy, france.
Oh my, I will tell you Europe, especially the countries I’m hitting, are some of the safest travel destinations
Warsaw was completely destroyed during the world war two. I'm very glad that You enjoyed Your stay in Warsaw.
Oh yes
Such a nice area to walk around and enjoy :-)
Very entertaining narration and edit, but would be better in a fedora.

Great question
I target only using dividend income to travel and live
That way I’m not caught off guard if UA-cam makes big changes which happens

KRAKOW better option!!!!!!!
Yes indeed!

Yes this is true
Sometimes I sit next to travelers who like to chat
The hardest thing for me is putting a camera in anyone but me
Haha
