For any drummer or sound tech reading that uses B8X's or ZBT's, do not be discouraged as I've tracked configurations of those cymbals many times and good positioning with a half decent sound tech can make those sound good, if not, great, within the context of the song. Microphone positioning and choice is also important. Mess around with your frequencies and see which make your cymbals pop. A strong high pass and a high shelf will do you wonders. Nerd out.
You don´t have any trouble placing the overheads like that and not getting the snare onf the center of the image?, never tried to place the overheads like that, i´m shure gonna give it a try. Thanks bro!

Great content bro, keep it up
Love the EQ/ mixing sections of your videos as I struggle with mixing and what frequencies to boost or attenuate for each drum elements.
Hey thanks!! Hopefully the videos help you!
