I really love this brand, I am based in the UK and have the 'straight pull' version in .223, but i cannot help wishing we in the UK could legally own a semi-auto .223 version.
Do what I did... move to Switzerland.
After a few years and many ARs, I can assure you that this brand and at least my gen 1 in .222 for Spain is a damn precision laser and the best barrel I've played.
I have a Schmeisser M5FL and I can only give good reviews for it! Very well made, balanced and with constant accuracy, regardless of the number of shots at the moment.

schmeisser are good rifles, but they only use keymod, a 1/9 twist, and crappy back up sights
i'd buy a schmeisser if it had: a 16 inch 223 wylde hybrid contour barrel with 1/8 twist, mid-length gas system, about 2 pound weight and chf
m-lok handguard, geissele prefered (because keymod has no qd function!)
bcm gunfighter stock, grip and charging handle
everything in tan

Sicherlich das coolste Video über Waffenpflege! Ich setze das Zeug für meine Schmeisser M5F ein. Gut gefällt mir das das Öl gut riecht und so die Frau zufrieden ist😉Sehr praktisch finde ich das das Sprühröhrchen nach Gebrauch an den Deckel gesteckt werden kann. Bei einem anderen bekannten Hersteller wird das Röhrchen nur per Klebestreifen mitgeliefert und fliegt nach erstem Gebrauch dann in der Gegend rum. Mich würd ja brennend interessieren wer das Öl für Schmeisser herstellt😉
Musste mal Lachen... Genau diese Diskussionen (um den Geruch von WD40, Robla Solo, etc.) habe ich zu Hause auch immer... Habe mir das Öl jetzt auch mal bestellt. Muss sagen - Werbeabteilung von Schmeisser hat "alles richtig" gemacht ;-)

Ich dachte ein Direktgasdrucklader wie die Schmeisser kann nicht unter Wasser schiessen ohne daß sich der Lower zerlegt ????

jeezus, just wipe/scrape any excessive crud every 500-600 rounds, run a bore snake through the barrel, shoot and repeat.
German philosophy says if it isn't 110% perfect it isn't right. Not a criticism just how it is and it must be respected.
