Looks like the old dog still has a lot of tricks to teach the puppies. I always learn something by watching your videos. Thanks again, Obi-Wan!!
Two Toes ,i have watched your Video's 4 year's.
I learn something new every time!
Good job on finding that flood gold!
That was a snow covered desert 🌵
Glad to see it cleared up and the shiny started poking through The dirt
I’ll try to be ready for next years trip haha
Need to get a 4x4 !!!
And where were you?????
@@TwoToes I was staying warm and comfy at home haha !! 🤣
I’ll be there next year forsure tho ✨⛏️🌵
Great video. Nevada actually had some bucket line dredges and a couple of places where hydraulic mining was done. The dredges did some serious serious placer gold production in the early 1900s.
Fantastic gold! Glad you got to get out and enjoy the weather--- at least you got a bit of every kind of it!😂
Thanks for sharing this adventure!
Gary, you are the real gold GOAT!!!
Good to see you had a good trip Gary. I started my detecting with some nice bits, the second year has been very slow. Keep swinging.
You have the best videos, thanks for sharing your adventures with us all. If you ever find yourself down in southern cali and want to go detecting let me know. I have a few spots
Two Toes Off-Roading videos.
The two genres I didn't know I needed in my life!
Yeah, we had a great trip cleaning all that mud off wasn’t too much fun. Good time we have to do it again.👍🇺🇸
What Killer time out in NV! Always enjoy the desert Gold! Thanks Gary
In the spring - can't beat the desert, love it. In the summer - it kills old guys like me! lol
Gary, another great video! As a jeep owner, I feel your pain with cleaning up that Nevada gumbo. It’ll take multiple washes, but maybe you could do a video panning the mud from your jeep. 😊
Funny you should say that, I have a 14-inch pan heaped full. Not sure if I'm going to do a video but will definitely put the result in a video.
@@TwoToes This would REALLY be something to see. Gold from road mud...off the vehicle... that would be amazing.🤣
@@markb9347 Going to pan it out today, will put results in a video.
Great video Sir. Yea you have a 4 hour Jeep cleaning session to look forward to.
Coming soon! How to clean 40 pounds of mud off a Jeep. lol
Gary you’re going to be finding mud particles for years! Very beautiful Gold! Excellent trip to Nevada! Dan Brent
That gold looks like cracked corn chicken feed in color and shape. That's how I would have to tell my eyes what to look for lol. Always appreciate you and your adventures, thanks for uploading! I recommend your channel!!
Goooooood morning two toes Well you whooped them again Gary well done looks like you’ve got that desert placer figured out pretty well I’d say 4 grams you probably just about broke even $200 for fuel and food and $225 to clean the keep lol great adventure and I’m not complaining about the lack of video it turned A ok in my book thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
Those desert trips looks amazing! I wouldn't even know where to start on planning a trip like that. Took a road trip last year late spring through Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. Nevada shocked me how beautiful it was! Mostly due to the extra precipitation I imagine. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure!
Thanks for the new adventure, and education! 🌎
Morning Gary. Amazing trip out with the gang , never ever saw Rubi with so much dirt on her. Glad to see you was getting some golden targets and learning new territory. Thanks for sharing your passion with us. Have relocated to Idaho. Thanks 😅
You can't full me! It's our secret now 😂
nice job gary. mud city has gold !!
It's a cool feeling to find a piece of gold with a detector. Over a gram piece along with quite a few smaller I'd bring a mcloud and scrape some bigger area's. Also with that jeep you could drag the field 😆. Good job out there boy's. Next trip you'll probably do even better and at seventy bucks a gram it's definitely worth it. Joe gold
❤ you Gary! That drive in was an adventure in itself.
4 plus grams of gold is a good trip.
I see you added fuel jugs to the jeep, that’s a good idea for the outback !
I bet it took a while to clean off all the mud from Nevada 😂
You got that right!, still cleaning
Good work Gary, some nice pieces of gold!
Awesome trip out to Nevada! That weather wasn't looking good to start, but it sure cleared up quickly! That was nice. Good times; good gold. Thanks for taking us along!
Oh that grass, keeps us distracted from prospecting. I gotta find a kid that “wants” to work for me while I’m away! Howdy from Montana again Gary!!
Finding a kid that can work nowadays, good luck!
Nice adventure… thanks for taking us along.
The " Legend " once again shows the boys who's the boss!
Morning Gary, been there, done that! So many quarters at the car wash, luckily the attendant wasn't on duty. 😂
Been out working in Nevada lots lately (roailroad), and I keep seeing spots out here that look so good to detect!!! Definitely hard to read though compared to the rivers over the hill. Glad to see you got on the gold! 😎
Well done, Gary. You did well compared to the others. It's great to see that you have a chance to get away with the crew. Greetings from down under 🙃.
Catch ya.
Cheers Andy
Poverty prospecting Australia
If you ever decide to start doing excursions I would be happy to pay good money for a day just working a crevice and listening to you tell stories.
Good morning, Gary. Watching the video now. Thanks!
Another amazing video. I'm so thankfull to you. I'm learning a lot!!
Good morning y'all
👍🇺🇸⚒️🪨⚒️🏴☠️👍
Morning
You're actually enjoyable to watch....gold or not, I enjoyed it....
Wow gary my finger’s we frozen before you started the vid where I live in Australia the coldest winter day is at least 50 deg and I think that’s cold great vid keep them coming love it me and my wife are inside at moment with the gas heater on and it’s only 62deg outside hey 😀
I had a good time out there it made for a great birthday. 👍🇺🇸
Was great to have you out here for a few days, see you in July!!!!!!
@@TwoToes I shoulda went with my desert plan and followed you. Lol
You did, just too late in the trip. lol
I thought that was you, and then Gary said your name. It's always good to see your face bud. Hope all is well, Dan-o ##LBPA4LIFE 🇺🇸
Two Toes, you mentioned a silver coin with the sides cut. That could be a 'Piece of Eight'. The Spanish would cut off a portion of the coin to pay for items. Most people think they were made of gold, but no, they were made of silver.
was out trying the nox 900 in gold mode. just junk. was down at the beach. got almost $1 and a junk earring. got $.97. be out this weekend. in the desert. swing the gold monster and the 900. some one gave up on the 900 it was $750 on craigslist. both 11" & 6". coils. have a good day.
Haven't had a chance to use the 900, I have a Nox 800 with the small coil it is amazing on small gold. I'm finding tiny nuggets missed by the old Vlf detectors. Going digging now.
Gold mode isn’t gonna like the Salt and black sand that much , it’s honestly 99 percent useless mode
@@ifindmetal the equinox 800 is just as sensitive as the GM. Gold mode 2 finds tiny gold at 3 inches deep. Found 1.95 grams total yesterday. The nine tiny ones weigh 2.6 grains total.
Good afternoon thanks for the video keep them coming
very nice i was listening to you put it on the scale while i was plugging my guitar in and thought did you say 4 grams? so I rewound it and yes you did that's a nice trip for where you were at so very cool video and nice gold until your next clip have a good day stay safe the weather is just perfect right now👍
Now thats a gold adventure. What an amazing landscape. Good on you Gary
you need a white board !!!!!!
and a Power washer !!!!!
And someone to run it! hint, hint
@@TwoToes Good Luck getting Robert out of the house !!!! LOL
Great episode Gary! Can just say thank you for all the amazing instrumental episodes you put out, being a older prospector and a brand new creator I enjoy watching and listening to you every episode. Thank you my good sir.👍😎🎩⚒️
Thanks so much for lugging all that gear around so we can watch you, thanks for all your knowledge, I truly appreciate it,your funny 😂 and have a heart of gold 💛 NZ
Hope you and Jeff are safe from all the fires.
Ya, we live in the valley surrounded by water (rice land) Thx
Thanks Gary! I wish our deserts in Southern California would get some snow. Mid-90’s today. The gold season is rapidly coming to an end. Headed north soon.
If you watch his videos you know...
How to clean 40 lbs of mud off of a Two Toes vehicle .
Step 1) Run it thru a sluice.
Step 2) pan out all the Gold
Step 3) Return the Jeep
😂👍
Always the best. Wish I could have been there
Good morning !
Morning!
I have found some gold on the back side of Mt Charleston gold panning.
Well now, the Jeep and Truck look used now. Typical day up here in Montana. Thanks for taking us to Nevada Gary! Wash that Jeep when you get back to town, maybe pan all the mud? 😂 Howdy again from Montana!
I did no gold. lol
That was awesome Gary 👍👌
Thanks 👍
Beautiful I which I could had went with you to find gold
I really enjoy watching and learning from your videos. I live near Carson City, NV and was wondering if you have detected in this area and would be willing to give some pointers on how to locate potential spots to detect. Thanks.
I wish I was passenger on that drive in. Would've been pickin' all kinds of brain cells, lol
Nice hat, and pretty country !
Great job ⛏️👍
Started out with bad weather, but that did not slow you down. Good job thank you stay safe ALL
It's nice to hear just the natural sounds.
Great job Gary! Once again showing how its done! Best in the business!
I'm from Buffalo, don't cry to me about 3 whole inches of snow - we've dealt w/ 10 *FEET* in a single storm before!
You have to remember, I'm a thin skinned California flat lander! lol
You were wise to go to Nevada before the heat of summer.
Love it Gary, I'm up near Bodie (camping at Bridgeport Reservoir RV park) and right next to Nevada !
Got my Gold Bug Pro ready to go manana !
Thank you for all your great advice and wonderful videos... hope we can meet at some point at Albion River CG brudda.
Just wondering... can you sell me one of those "Kinda Chunky Gold Magnets" you seem to have in every video ?
I got one the size of my fist today!
And one size of my thumb!
Been digging hard as hell for a month and I only had three Penny Weight till today.
You live a great life from my vantage point.
I am truly blessed!
Good morning
Morning Mr. B
Good day gentlemen. 🇺🇸
Fun stuff beautiful country. B
4/30/2024 lets go. Feel the dirt.
That last nugget looks like Mickey Mouse LOL :)
maybe a fishing and gold detecting in one?
Geez what a wagon trail.
Go underground Gary. I’ve done some work inside a mine here in butte county mason jars full of gold
Thanks
Nice!
You need a wagon to drag all your stuff around. Tie a rope on the handle and drag. Put bigger wheels on it to to go over obsticles . You could even carry your lunch and extra batteries. A umbrella for wind ,sun ,rain... low flying seagulls. Ha Ha
😎
Way to go Gary!
any chance of doing some longer videos?
what region of nv? i found 7 grams of gold detecting arizona last week
Thar's gold in them thar hills! An yer bound ta find it.
🤝
What part of Nevada are you in? Have you ever been to El Dorado canyon buy Boulder City Nevada?
I was lost most of the time, all I know is that we were in northern Nevada.
@@TwoToes You should come to the area around Hoover dam, El Dorado canyon, they took more gold out of there than the whole gold rush in California. You can look it up. online it'll tell you all about it I found nuggets there myself three so far 4 g 2 g and a 1 1/2 g good luck on your next hunt. Highly mineralized area
Did you check the mud on your vehicle for gold?
So, where in N. CA did you find a Spring Bar tent???????????? Another great video BTW (As always)
Ordered it from the manufacture in Utah, about 8 years ago..
I see that you have the gas cans made of gold on your jeep......hold 2 gallons and cost a small fortune.....lol :)
You ROCK bro
Why did you pick that pile? Only asking because I'm guessing others are wondering too!
There was a good mixture of gravel, large and small.
@@TwoToes Thank you!
Todd needs to wash yyer hood,
Well, it looks like you're firing on all cylinders in the desert. No question question I want to come up to the nugget hunt 4 of us, but no campsites are available. Any suggestions?
There are quite a few campgrounds all along the river more below Downieville than above.
You can try the Sierra Streamside Cabins. Hope you can make it. Aloha.
Two Toes rules.
You desert rats are a tough breed. Mud bogging and snow camping to satisfy your lust for adventure and gold. Looked like the weather improved and everyone had a fun trip. Time to wash the Jeep.
I’m in Reno hit me up!
winners are grinners!
Looks like all your gold is bigger in Nevada and out of the water go figure.cant beat that $200 +
Are those areas BLM, private area, claimed or what? Also.... Why the 2300? Light and portable? But aren't there better ones now?
The area we were in is BLM. I think the 2300 is one of the best detectors out there, they are a bit heavy, but it folds up and will fit in my backpack. Waterproof, can work in the rain and if you drop it in the creek - no big deal. Reads off the edge of the coil and has plenty of depth, and will pick up gold smaller than you want to mess with.
I have to ask why you do not disclose your locations. Let’s use common sense. Would I as a watcher of your videos jump in my car and go to somewhere by the location for at the most 5 grams of gold. I think not. However, knowing the location would allow me to study the area about its history. Just seems super silly is all when you think about it logically.
