What's best underwater: The GoPro or the Insta360 X3? My results and conclusions

- In a change from our regular programming - let's talk about underwater video. I figured that lots of people go on holiday and might want to film a snorkeling trip, so I decided to put these results here on the main channel. I just came back from a dive trip using a GoPro 12 and an Insta360 X3. Both have their place. The X3 goes an amazing job on conveying the feeling of being underwater. The GoPro is much better for close ups, macro etc. I used 10 bit log for the GoPro without any filters. I then use LUTS to correct the 12's footage.
I tend to agree. On a dive, I'd be more inclined to have a GoPro as my movement would be less erratic, but I'm a complete convert to the Insta for snorkling

Got my X3 last summer and purchased the dive case last week My 3 gopros are just collecting dust.
Great video, really useful! What settings do you use on the Insta360 for diving? 4K 60fps?
No, as I want as much resolution as possible, I'm using 5.7k at 30fps. I'd like the 4k at 60fps, but once you edit it to the views you want, it can look at bit low res

Where is this dive ? Looks incredible
All the footage where you can see a reef is on the island of Vilamendoo in the Maldives. The Manta/Whale Shark stuff was a few hours boat ride away

My drone with f450 frame and same stack(speedybeee f4 v4) but with the golden 1000kv 3s motors its wobbling too much it flips on its own it shakes too much can't control it how to fix that can i contact you through any social media
