Congrats, so glad to hear that!! Elddis are doing a cracking job with the campers, we've liked all the different layouts they've done on the CV's so far. And while yes it's probably classed as an entry level build we've been very impressed too. Thanks as always for commenting, hope you enjoy many great trips in your new camper. I'm sure the wait will have been worth it😀
We have had one for a couple of years and leave the rear bed up permanently. Loads of storage which is important to us as we spend over two months at time in it. I remember looking at a similar van which seemed much more spacious. Luckily I realised it was because the rival vans lockers were much narrower. Better to look at but not great for long trips. We had to fix some minor stuff but to be fair the new caravan we had before was like a diy project. Just the way they are now.
What a absolute beautiful van Jason, i was wondering if you could recommend a small van with in mind that i am a double amputee for the hubby and me . I have been watching a lot of your videos this afternoon, and i must say that Kevin and yourself are such nice people always happy and cracking jokes you too really are such lovely people ❤❤Clare
Thank you for the lovely comment. It's hard to recommend a van without knowing some more info about what you need from it, things you like, things you don't like, what budget you have, how long will you spend in it, cooking inside or outside, separate shower, fixed bed or lounge conversion, do you need a garage to store stuff etc etc. You are welcome to come up and see us and we can talk you through some of the things to consider and also have some vans to look at and get a feel for. I'd always recommend viewing a number of vans with different layouts from a variety of manufacturers a this will help you in your search. A good way of doing this can be through advice, watching UA-cam, or seeing the vans for yourselves at a dealership or at a motorhome show. Hope this helps you in starting your quest for a new van!!👋
Perfect for two people. I would leave the back in bed mode and live in the front. Are there blinds on the cab windows and if they are the fold out, concertina type do they offer any thermal insulation?
Hi Tony, think I'm with you there. Makes sense to leave back bed made up when possible They are the concertina style in the front and while they offer a small amount of insulation its not going to be a great deal.
I have an Elddis CV40 .. its great but the build quality is Variable. Some people have no issues, others get niggly stuff, but lots of it. Good to see the stock drain tap has been replaced, the stock one blocks easily and dribbles out the grey waste.
Took delivery of my new CV40 a few weeks ago after 2 year wait, excellent vans for an entry level build. Cheers K.

Great vans the CV range, we're not affiliated in any way but would recommend taking a look at the AutoQuest campers to anyone!

Great van good size all round, no kev was he taking a lunch break 😀
Loo break 😂
Informative. But where's Kev? Where's the schoolboy banter? Where's the entertainment?
He is back now, but enjoying his breaks inbetween 😃
Thank you. As much as we'd love Kev to be with us in every video, sadly he has other things to do with his retirement too😅
The toilet/wash room is far too small for me.
😐
Is it £60k for a 21 plate Jason or a new one ?

Good feedback here Darren. I'm sure this is useful for people to hear. Thanks for the comment!
The v lines from Autotrail are more upmarket but you pay more
