“On-The-Go” Smoothie
1 cup liquid
1 cup fruit
6 oz protein (Greek Yogurt)
Building a smoothie on-the-go should not be intimidating!
🥛Remember to always start off with your base, which is going to be your liquid. Whether you use milk or water- it all depends on your goals! The amount of liquid that you use also depends on how thick or thin you want your smoothie consistency to be.
🛒 Aldi has amazing frozen fruit/vegetable combinations that you can find in their frozen section.
Fruits have natural sugars that add sweetness to your smoothie.
🥬 We didn’t add any veggies in this smoothie, however, adding vegetables can increase your nutrients, fiber, and the best part is you won’t even taste them!
💪🏽 Other protein options aside from Greek yogurt include cottage cheese, protein powder, hemp or chia seeds and nut butters.
AS ALWAYS - feel free to substitute or change any ingredient in the recipe and make it your own!
