    I've had a couple proctor boards--excellent (6'4" monster-squeek & 6'4" monster-chief)...also have had 2 puddle jumpers--6'1" roundpin, 6'2" lib tech pj--also excellent...both proctors and lost boards are fast, fun, playful...from knee high to 2ft overhead...I'm an intermediate surfer in SoCal (Ventura area), 53yrs old, 230lbs, bad knees but have enjoyed surfing because of these boards!

      Yeah, I'm really interested in the proctor range. It looks like they do quite a few high volume options.
      I had a LIB TECH PJ. I've done a review. Great fun in medium sized waves.

    I have a Proctor G4+ which is similar to the Big Chief. It is by far the best big guy board I have ridden. Also have a Rascal II for groveling. Love the stuff from Proctor.

    Hi there, how do we contact you about purchasing a board, Im interested in the Goliath 6'3 bigger volume.

    Interesting, i didnt knew some brand you mentioned. You should invest on some miick you have the same issue go surf had previously with too much echo in the room. You should ask him what mick he got now hes using a good cheap one, smartphone with headphone mic could do it too to record the sound without echo.

      Thanks, yeah some of these boards are not as well known. Still working on having a more professional production. It's not easy being a small channel. Hopefully I'm still getting the message accross

    By any chance do you know the major difference between the Proctor monsta chief and the proctor big chief?

    • @BigGuyBoardsSurfshop
      @BigGuyBoardsSurfshop  4 роки тому +1

      The Big Chief looks more refined and high performance. Monsta chief looks more forgiving with a fuller nose and tail.
      Maybe worth getting in touch with the shaper if you need more info

    I watched your board reviews and noticed that you have the thermotech Futures fins in all your boards. Have you tried any other fins from Futures? I would be interested in how different templates perform for you in different boards. I am starting to experiment with different fins myself and right now I think that fins with more drive and wider base seem to work better for me. The new Futures Mayhem template with the wider base is great! Also really like the DHDs in Futures as well.

      Yeah, I'd like to start experimenting with fins. I've always wondered how much difference it'll make. I need to invest in some.

      If you are a bigger guy , you want to go with bigger fins on a thruster. The Pancho Sullivan fiberglass fin is one of Futures larger fins

    What size waves you taking the Uber xl out in ?

    • @BigGuyBoardsSurfshop
      @BigGuyBoardsSurfshop  4 роки тому

      Waist to a bit overhead. No good for me in solid waves. No good as an all out groveller. I have a dedicated review of the XL on my channel

      Big Guy Boards Surfboard Review I was in contact with the people of rusty, and they can customize the table with other measures to have more volume, they design it in California but they manufacture it in portugal that way the shipping cost is much cheaper

      @@gabriel-xk1bg There is also a guy in UK that shapes for Rusty out of his factory. Looks like a great board. Let me know how it goes.

      Not sure where your surfing but I had a panda. It has a noticeable continuous rocker which you can feel it fatter/flatter waves. Board manouvers well though and there is good foam in the tail. If the rocker was slightly more relaxed I'd of kept it. I surf in the UK by the way.
