- In this video I bring you into my studio for a start to finish build out of my minimalist Sony FX6 rig. My intent is to share with you the secret sauce behind my simple, lightweight, yet super functional camera setup. Thank you - hopefully this helps you in setting up yours when you receive it! No, I had pre-ordered it about a week after the initial launch so I've had it for about 8 months now. There had been a factory fire around the time I placed my order causing a shortage of parts so it took a pretty long time for mine to arrive. Hopefully you won't have to wait much longer my friend. Trust me - it's worth the wait!

Q: Do you ever find that you have heat issues with the SmallHD 503? I've basically retired my 702 Touch because it would get so hot during operations...like literally too hot to touch.
Hey thanks man! No, I've not had any heating issues with the SmallHD 503. I have noticed it getting warm though from time to time but never too hot to touch.
