I have a huge amount of respect for anyone who can walk out on stage and make that many people laugh like crazy. Talent like that isn’t made. It’s born.
All comedians work hard to make audiences laugh. He writes his shows, he doesn't improvise. To suggest that this is just talent and not hard work is an insult to the artist.
Actually it is worth trying to create a stand-up routine for yourself as an insight inducing learning experience. It is hard work & takes practise. It took me a couple of years practise to be able to create any decent ones.
His observations are things I don't even think about but once he points them out, I find myself thinking ' yeah I do that, why do I do that? 'or 'I know someone like that'. I I would watch him over any alternative edgy comedian. He's the master of observational comedy.

Yes, a great comedian, so intelligent. I read his book and have so much admiration for him and his wife - the battle to get to the top took superhuman tenacity and resilience. His great gift is the way he talks about everyday, ordinary things we can all relate to.

There are many comedians out there but I love Michael because he relates to the simple human parts that we all share in our day to day lives.. to find humour in these small things just shows that we are all the same ❤️
I remember not having cell phones and the bit about not taking our photo albums, every piece of music, board games, etc. is hilarious and true. The fact that we do that now Sounds ridiculous when he puts it like that!!! 🤣

I'm a secretary and I get this all the time, I'm slightly dyslexic with numbers I'll often switch numbers round without realising it and then I get people rattling off a number and for the same number they'll group one section and separate another and I'm just there pressing my pen into my pad in despair
He is the most amazing... He makes mundane jokes, some aren't even logical or sensible, which is ok... and some aren't even that funny but he is so frenetic that by the time you figure this all out he has moved on and you find you're already laughing to the point of tears.
The face time part was exactly what it was like talking to my parents the other day on my birthday it was hilarious since they are in there late 70s and I was so excited when it connected and so were they 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
When all this pandemic shite is over (notice how positive I'm being - maybe not realistic but definitely positive), I hope Michael McIntyre tours again and comes here to Canada. I would love to see him live. Thank you for all the laughs. Stay safe.

Absolutely agree. He doesn't need to be "edgey" or offensive to be funny. That's the mark of a really talented comic
