It was indeed within the grounds of Windsor Castle. The building you can see in the background is St. George's Chapel where the service for the Order of the Garter would be heid. The band is positioned outside the Guardroom. This all took place before the Procession came from the Upper Ward to the Chapel
I keep coming back to this video. It is excellent. As stated earlier, I love the slower tempos of the march. Why are the band members in State uniform rather than their everyday dress uniform. What is the occasion? Keep the videos coming. This one is special.
Well my old friend, do you think if the UK had a premier a la Macron, that any less taxpayer would be allocated? Even if your taxpayer money is not well spent in your mind, at least you can be a little proud of all the pomp. The tourist love it.

Day off after trooping. Space too confined for the horses. Lived the "linings" great band with and without the horses.
