This is the Call of Duty Cold War Ending - the COD Cold War Ending Campaign Finale. This is the Final Mission in Black Ops Cold War's Campaign, with all possible Endings. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and published by Activision. It is the fifth installment of the Black Ops series, and the seventeenth installment in the overall Call of Duty series. Serving as the sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010) and an “combination sequel” between campaign and zombies, the game is planned for release on November 13, 2020. Black Ops Cold War is set during the early 1980s of the Cold War. Its campaign follows CIA officer Russell Adler as he pursues an alleged Soviet spy, Perseus, whose stated goal is to subvert the United States and tilt the balance of power toward the Soviet Union. Multiplayer will have new game modes, more extensive customization, and new map dynamics and elements.

@@PodreyJenkin138 US placed the nukes near ussr first. It was due to that they attempted to place them in cuba. US also was the only one to use the nukes, needlessly at that. The only reason why they did it was to threaten the soviet union . Thank god ussr made theirs otherwise god knows what would happen with US with a monopoly on the biggest weapon of mass destruction.

I just felt like being a prick
I hadn't even considered the "good" ending the moment I realised I was a brainwashed Russian rogue agent.
As soon as I learned the CIA brainwashed me into being a traitor I turned on them because you need to look at it as our friends actually were never our friends and were turning us on our real friends and family. Feck them! In that dream I never once did what adler said. Even at the start i picked up a different weapon (granted I never realised the game would pick up on my decisions)

The 'bad' ending was good for Bell. They have been bought back into their comrade's arms and finally go alongside with the one that will never betray them.
The 'good' ending was good for humanity. Bell pretty much saved humanity from nuclear fallout, but Adler knowing the risk of letting Bell go alongside with a slight chance of Bell recovering their memory and that will bring catastrophe. Bell doesn't deserve this.
Apart from bell getting his memory back. He has adler's memories from the mk ultra program. That's probably why adler's the one to shoot bell.
there are no winning sides, there is no right or wrong ending
the campaign ultimately leads to an ending that fills you with regret. regret working for the cia, a group of violent "paragons" that believe they're the good guys, despite what they do, or the soviet extremists, who truly believe that destroying the world will bring about meaningful change for the future.
the truth is, you should make your own choice, rather than take the paths laid out for you. if bell survives the good ending, id hope we'd finally get a call of duty game where you follow your own path, rather than fight for someone else's ideals.
It all boils down to dying for something or living for nothing.

Just like in Farcry 5, there are three endings in that game that are terrible as well.
1. Bad guy Nukes the entire world
2. Hear the phrase “Only you” and probably kill all you friends.
3. Do nothing and walk away without arresting him (probably considered a good ending)

He correctly predicted that a nuclear apocalypse would happen which makes you realize you were kind of the bad guy and that everyone was trying to warn you. I got the "bad ending" first because I knew that bell was russian so I wanted to give loyalty to my comrades and turns out technically this was the good ending
Lol..same. plus I hated the game for putting me in Vietnam scenario again and again so I selected the bad one. Turns out it was the right decision
I honestly enjoyed the story mode so much even though a lot of people really hate it. I genuinely enjoyed every mission, but my least favorite mission was the one in Vietnam where you had to go through it multiple tiems

A really cool touch I’m glad they added is that if you have subtitles on and you choose to lie to Adler, your friends’ subtitles all turn from blue to red; all of the Soviet Union turn from red to blue, including Perseus

The subtle blue and red Adler is a small detail I enjoy
Adler had a reason for killing you. It was because of the mind control experiments, for which Adler's memories were implanted into your mind. You know more about him than anyone else, plus you used to be the enemy, so he sees you as a liability.
The bad ending v1 was by far the most satisfying, especially if you've seen the betrayal that happens at the end of the "good" one.
actually i think adler did the right thing to protect the CIA from being ratted by a former member of persius. plus its a typical cia thing so i wasnt suprised XD

@@syclone0479 the zombies end up overwhelming you since they spawn a lot of them and once you go down Adler, annoyed, says "that didn't happen" and it spawns you at the red door.
Three years after the release of Cold War I have a PlayStation 4 I have download it for free because of plus and I have a history with cod and I had a feeling that something wasn’t right, in the campaign and without knowing anything, I chose the bad ending, which became the good ending after watching many videos on UA-cam

Theres something I love about this game, it's that depending on your ending Adler can be red and Perseus is Blue, vice versa.
I always chose the Soviet ending since theres a soviet in me that was awakened.
Adler: Bell, “would you kindly” help us stop the nukes?
Also Adler: “OBEY!!”

When fallout did something wear the character had voice quotes people got upset that it made the character feel less personal because there voice would be set in stone.
I think that’s the point tho. If bell had a voice actor that, say, sounded Russian, it would ruin the twist at the end of the story.

Cold War was the one and only call of duty I ever finished and I loved when they pulled guns on each other it was such a cool ending

Well the ambush is a good ending because when the main character is alive in the end it’s a good ending
Tbh, killing Woods and Mason was hard, I kind of wanted to believe they weren't informed on the whole "Bell is actually a mind-controlled associate of Perseus" just to make myself feel better
I killed woods right of the bat and felt horrible when Mason was the only one left
