I wonder if the model name "OS-10" isn't a nod to Paul Carmodys Overnight Sensations? These clearly resemble them. Great video! Especially the FR graphs of various distances from the wall and possible explanations for the dips and peaks. Good looking speakers! I like the fabric on the sides a lot!

get the far from the wall , yes , get them of the table also , i can hear that table even without headphones , without studio monitors , on cheap speakers in non perfect position . I would not be able to listen at all there . Speaker needs room , not from the back wall , from all walls and surfaces . So DIY it lose the table .

    Forget the measurements
    use your ears .
because sound/music is 100% subjective when it hits the brain just try different positions and you will know immediately which position you prefer .
if you don t have the space for optimal listening then condition the ' Listener ' not the room .

my os 10 starting having high pitch noise without input signal connected, although not significant, it's not so acceptable for having it 2 years.

The provided RCA cable connection makes it sound compressed.

How does a front port change the placement best practices? Can those be placed closer to/against the wall with less impact?

No offense for $150 I would get the harman kardon Studio 4 or 6. I know its not the same class of speaker, but its portable and has amazing bass. I have bought dozens of BT speakers and so far I like the harman kardons Onyx series. I am sure the audiophiles will say its a terrible speaker cause it colors the music with bass.
