I just have a bottle of alcohol that I spray my cutters with. Less environmental impact than wipes. And I Love the white glasses! 😁

I do have a small bottle of alcohol spray that I refill too. More convenient for me and less trash.
That is what I do as well. They are mini bottles I keep by my clippers
I love using alcohol spray on my tools. You can get small and large spray bottles at Dollar Tree.
I believe that using a cloth to wipe the blades is also a good idea. It takes off any soil that might be infected and cleans the blade at the same time. You can also dip them in the alcohol or bleach. Spray bottles never last long.
Definitely "A"! I agree with not wearing anything important like a wedding ring when gardening. My original wedding band is somewhere in one of my mother's flower beds, never to be seen again...had to get a replacement.

The glass coffee pot that you featured several weeks ago is a Princess House coffee carafe. There is a small brass lid and the whole pot sits in a brass base with a votive candle underneath to keep the coffee warm!

The white sunglasses… I have two of your plant stands… I ordered everything in copper BECAUSE no one really carries the copper, so I have 7 of your items that are very unique (not to mention also two of your baskets)! Wish I had your blue top 1) because I love the color blue and 2) because I have a pair of capris that match! Loved this video!
I wear my wedding band in the garden but that’s it. I also always always wear gloves now and I have tons of pairs all over the garden in my weeding baskets, which are all strategically placed in the yard.

I hear ya. It's always risky to purchase a new introduction of any kind, esp when it's suppose to help keep pests away. And then you don't know if it's safe to use.
I wish you would keep producing your QVC line in the colors you have sold out on. I don't have a be alot of money but I want to gradually get most of your line, especially the planters, hanging baskets and the plant stands, and some of the larger baskets! I love it all!

Thanks for the tips. I have really struggled with the stink bugs and squash bugs this year. We have used a lot of the soap spray. White (A) looks better with the white in the shirt. The only time I take off my wedding ring is to clean them or if they need the prongs tipped. Otherwise for the last 43 years I keep them on even in the garden.
Loved the white sunglasses with your outfit. I do wear my wedding rings but I also always wear gloves unless I’m doing very fine work like handling delicate little seedlings or watering.

Hi Linda! This is such an exciting time in our gardens...so much life popping up everywhere! Nice to follow what's happening in your garden and do a comparison to our own. That little flying bee-bird was interesting. The coloring looked like a bee, but the quick lateral moves and extremely fast wing beating looked like a hummingbird...so sweet.

Also your attire looks lovely- but I would never dare wear white or beige while gardening. 😄 You are the most fashionable gardener I know of. The most I’ll do is wear my sunblock and makeup and make sure to have a hat.

Humming birds is not an interruption each time I spot one in the garden I instantly stop whatever I’m doing and give the little birds all of my attention even if it’s for a fleeting moment. 😃

Since my arthritic knuckles have “overgrown “ my rings, I wear nitrile gloves always; usually inside the gardening gloves. Yes, my hands sweat, but …small price to pay. I agree with A sunglasses with this outfit.
I like the beige sunglasses best but both look great. Can't go wrong with either!
I like the buff coloured sunspecs better - go with your hair. The shirt you have on and the ring are lovely. I've been using Miracle Gro in my watering can at dusk when the sun has gone in, and it has done what it promises to. Everything has just got so much bigger and lush since beginning using it at end of May.
I enjoy listening to . You are full of infos. One thing i noticed is that for someone who enjoys nature as much as you do you use a lot of items that you discard to the land field .

Thanks for sharing your tips. I never had fungus until this year. We had such terrible cold winter that my potted Hydrangeas got a fungus. I don't get those products in Germany and cannot bring them back in my bags when I go back to NY, so I am using the same fungus killer that I use for my roses. Also removing some of the affected soil to make sure this decease doesn't come back. Like your sandals and your blouse very much. Except for my wedding band I don't wear any jewelry at home. I need a table like that to work on but I don’t have any topiary. I love watching the ensemble at the end you always dress so nice on camera I mostly wear my wine T-Shirts or Garden Answer shirt when I’m doing yard work. I do keep my wedding ring on and mostly wear gloves.

The white sunglasses go best with the outfit. I have a suggestion can you start a topiary may be a lollipop from scratch and then show it to us every one or two months or six months so we can see how it grows.

I like A. B looks nice with your hair. I wear my ring most of the time when doing light trimming or watering the flowers. If I’m playing in the dirt I sometimes take it off.
Both sunglasses are nice but the white is my definite preference! I take off my wedding rings at home and certainly do not garden in them or any jewelry on my hands only necklace & earrings. My TLC plant this year is a huge 25 year old eastern white globe pine. late winter it was turning a sickly color of yellowish brown at an alarming rate. I immediately treated it with iron tone then in early spring fed it with hollytone. Took it till almost June but it's looking fine now when I thought for sure it was going belly up.
For your QVC line, add a carousel. I bet it would be a great seller. A - white sunglasses.

Love the white glasses with that top! I also use insecticidal soap around the garden. But I learned the hard way this year that it is NOT to be used on sweet peas. Sadly I think I killed all of mine that I started from seed. I have yet to get a bloom.

Love both sunglasses (particularly beige for blondes) but vote for the white sunglasses with your jazzy geometric white and blue blouse. Here in Zone 6 CT, I protected my new galvanized egg trellises from our Elsa-related rain/wind storm.

Hi Linda! Again, all great gardening tips!! I think wiping down cutting shears with disinfectant is a good idea! I never wear my engagement ring in the garden as I do not wear gloves. Just used the DT scissors this morning to harvest zucchini! I like the beige frames.
I like the white sunglasses better. They are little more flashy, so if you don't want flashy I think the buff color blends well with your hair and is more low key. Both look great, I like the white a little more.
