the outsider expects the worst of everyone until you prove him wrong... this is because everyone usually reacts wretchedly when given the chance ... I find he's a gorgeous creation in the stories

Omar Kishk game informer interviewed Harvey smith and they asked him about that and he said it was in the trailer be use it looked cool and because they thought about giving Emily this power in the start

TheUnstableGod03 i like play most as Corvo Attano but Emily Kaldwin is pretty interesting also but Corvo is more, a lot more brutal assassin than Emily, Emily is only quicker than Corvo, Emily die easyly, what i am noticed.

Isn't it crazy that the Jindosh mansion is bit simpler in the first trailer of the game than the actual gameplay of that level?

Life action is pretty fine. I mean, Emily looked in the camera 5 times and it's kinda out of place but everything else is ok.

Same... in the first game, I LOVED to hear what the Outsider had to say... his voice and his neutral opinion on everything was pure gold.
In the second game he sounds like an edgy guy trying to sound interesting. I just skip his cinematics.

I wish Piero, and some of the other characters from the first game, are in Dishonored 2, too... You would think we would learn what happened to them, in the game.

Well Anton, Corvo, Billie Lurk and Emily are there. Also Delilah if you played the Daud DLC. Callista was mentioned in Emily’s Journal.

Piero dies due to a brain tumor between the two games
Samuel has died, at the beginning of the game you pick up a boat model and they say something about him not living and piero dies in between the games, remember that there is a 15 year gap between the games.
So why did they changue the voice of the outsider after the e3 trailer?
Max Power they didn't the voice actor in the e3 trailer is the same as in the game but in the game they putter some affect on his voice
Jonathan Kreitler actually it is a different voice actor. Billy Lush was the original and Robin Lord Taylor is the new outsider.

They should take Dishonored off the "resting" shelf and make an open-world co-op Dishonored game where you and a buddy run around the Isles with your powers and have fun. Perhaps plot, too. Starting 6 months after the start of Dishonored 1.

@@Blue-gp3vn there is mission+ were you unlock all the powers and boncharms and you can just have fun messing about with the powers, I think that might be as close as you get!
Does anyone else think the clockwork soldiers looked better in the trailers than what they changed them to in the final version of the game? Personally I just find the little bit of a face and the smirk on it really menacing and the ones in the final version of the game just don't have that same feeling to them.

Is it just me or is the dishonored 1 gameplay trailer wayyy better than the dishonored 2 gameplay trailer?
I played both and like #2 better because of the additional / new powers; Emily. It's subjective of course. Everyone has their own preference.
Amusing to note the clockwork soldiers in the original trailer are using the human style faces hinted at by Jindosh in the game.
Maybe creepier in an uncanny valley sort of way , but I'd say they also look rather dumb. Very mockable.

The game follows the low chaos lore in dishonored 1 and continues to dishonored 2 thats why your option to kill them is for the high chaos ending which is not the main story for dishonored 2

Did the same voice actor for Daud voice Corvo in this?
Nope- Corvo is voiced by Stephen Russell - the same guy who voiced Mercer Frey (among others) in Skyrim, Garrett in the Thief series, and a ton of various characters in the Bethesda era Fallout games
Daud is voiced throughout the series by Michael Madsen - who played Bob in Sin City, Budd in the Kill Bill movies, and a ton of other roles.
i had never played dishonored should i pick dishonored 2 up or it maybe be not everyone type of game?
shadow the hedgehog Well, in my opinion, it is my favorite game, if you are fascinated by the stealth aspect of games and have the patience plus the ability to admire the atmosphere of a game, letting yourself inmerse and enjoy every aspect of it, then Dishonored is your game. If you are going for a more "Action" approach, you may still find it in Dishonored, but I have heard from other sources that they were disappointed because it is not as dinamic as it seems, I cannot deny that the "action" aspect of it is flawed compared to the stealth aspect. If you want, you can preorder it in PSN or Steam and you get Dishonored Limited Edition free so you can check the main game out

I love dishonored 2 but they cut corners on the zero video segments that were advertised as being Hollywood quality cgi in the trailers only to find the conceptual artwork slideshow being the video segments, I was pissed. I don't wanna see a slide show.....
