@@101BadBreath That's what I have as well, I did a full titanium Akrapovic Race exhaust the Yoshimura Air box and a 2 Wheels ECU flash and the bike came alive.
I have a 2021 V4S and still keep an RS660 in the garage because 600s are just plain fun and appropriate. The 600 class bikes make a lot of sense for street riders, especially with the new tech.
Same as you I started on a 600cc in fact it was the cbr600rr I loved it. And I've been stuck on 600cc ever since 2007. Ive bounce between kawi and Honda. I think people aren't getting 600's because of influencers kinda like the JDM car scene blew up. Social media influencers are always telling riders to start at a lower cc 400 etc. and honestly if you have half a brain and patience you can start off anywhere. Yes large displacement will be more difficult but not impossible. There's a lot of people telling others what to do when in fact they are figuring it all out themselves in the name of views and ego. Rant over lol
When I was in my late 20s early 30s looking at bikes. I thought I wanted a Zx-6. Looking back on it, if I had gotten a 600cc bike then with little street experience I would have gotten myself killed because even in my early 30s I had no fear at all of getting killed or hurt. Now that I'm over 50, the thought if wrecking and braking collar bones and shoulder blades keeps me from being stupid.
I was riding dirtbikes since I was 12. When I was 20 my 1st streetbike was a Gsxr1000. The ZX10 hadn't come out yet. My 2nd bike was a 07 600RR and I absolutely loved that bike after I changed the gearing. -1,+2 with a 520 kit made it a perfect streetbike. Track days were much more affordable back then. I know ALOT of people who started on 600's. Back in early to mid 2000's they were pretty much beginner bikes besides SV650's and the Ninja 650 but those were considered boring commuter bikes. Hey, here it is 20+ yrs later and I'm still alive. Still love the exhilaration of Inline-4's. I've done alot of stupid things, crashed alot of bikes. But I wasn't stupid enough to kill myself. That's how I learned. Now I own a S1000RR and a Bandit 1250 and I ride almost every day. Still learning. Everyone ride safe and get proper gear because no matter what bike, on the street u just never know...❤
Started riding this year, bought myself a Aprilia shiver 750 and I love it. My training bike I took my lessons on was a BMW GS750. Never ride a 1000 yet but I will one day. Love your videos, keep up the great work!!
I was stationed in WA a few years ago, and I never thought I’d say it but watching you pull up to get coffee made me miss that area for some reason. I used to go to those restaurants, the movies at that Century and Duke’s down the road from where you got coffee. Low key nostalgic video for me!
Except they didnt actually update it. They just fiddled with the rider modes, changed the fairings and made it slower. Other than that its the exact same. The cbr blows it away in the update department
My first bike was a 09 1100 Monster, the first year of their EVO motor. I will say it kept me mentally grounded for sure. Speed, power, torque…. Made me a smart rider real fast. I’m glad I started big.
I've experience riding a ZX10R, my friend let me have a test drive on it. It feels good, but from where I live, we dont have long highways to really push that power but we do have a lot of twisty mountains to enjoy, most of the liter bikes here can push up to 2nd gear and its the end of the road. mostly 150-600cc bikes rule our streets. So, I think a resurgence of 600cc in the market is a good thing for us.
I've had a bunch of very fast big CC bikes, but now I have a little Royal Enfield 650. It's really fun riding full throttle and not really breaking the law.
I started riding a few months ago and have a 17 Ninja 300. I plan on riding it a few weeks in the spring to knock the winter rust off then selling it. Was hoping to upgrade to a 600 after, but seems they're hard to come by around here.
I started on a 600 and I still have that same bike. I have the throttle control to keep it ‘tame’ when I want it to but then I can open it up very easily when I want it to
I'm obsessed with the 06-16 R6 and know way too much about them. They're high priced up here in Canada too esp on the East Coast. I love the OG 06/07 then the 2 piece tail, slicker side fairing and narrow pilot light all starting in '08. Ravens went black and gold after that before it was red & black like 04-06 R1

In California I'm never stuck in trafic becaue I just filter/split through it. At the same time when not filtering I'm always at the edge of a lane so I have an out never in the middle when there are a lot of cars around. I got a bmw k1300r 2009 from a friend who stopped riding. I will be using it for fun riding and comuting. But if I had to get a bike I would look at the mt-07 for versitility and riding characteristics. the cfmoto 450sr definitly interest me because of how it looks and what it offers for the price. The thing with 600’s is that in europe they can be ridden almost everytime with an a3 license, what that means is that you come from at least two more licenses when you are able to ride a 600 so you’re already pretty much an experienced rider that doesn’t want a 110 hp bike but wants a 1000 for almost the same prices. Other than that, 600’s are more track oriented than 1000’s if we talk about the engine, because in street riding you need torque, and 600’s have it very high in the revs contrary to the 1000’s
Hey adobo love your content bro! I heard mention of a helmet give away a video or two ago, but didn’t hear how to enter. If you don’t mind letting me know. Thanks in advanced and hope you have good holidays to come!
I would love to own the rsv4 (dream bike) or any 1000cc but full coverage insurance is 200-350€ a month and they cost on avg 25-35k€ used they are like 5-9k cheaper than new. Thats why I stick to like a 600-900cc with around 120hp since thats roughly 150 a month, which is easily doable as student and I can still save up money for trackdays and all
have a cbr650r as my first bike, love it no need to go any bigger, even with no speed limit the 230 km/h top speed is enough and you rarely get to ride that fast
I'm from PH and imo, 600-800 is the sweet spot for big bikes(we call 400cc up big bikes here because of the law that requires 400cc up to use expressways) started on 100cc then 200cc then restored a vfr400 then jumped to a 2012 zx10r, and sold it after 6mos and replaced it with zx6r and recently bought 450NK from CFmoto. reason I sold it was 1000cc is just too much for the roads here, overheats on the traffic we got and it feels scootery because 1st and 2nd gear is all I need to use around town, there's just no space. The only time you can really get past 200+ kph is for long trips which then hurts my back so not really practical, tried using it on tracks but the tracks here are small too so even on track days, pushing past 220+ is rare. I enjoyed zx6r on tracks here than the zx10. Even the tiny vfr's v4 engine made me smile more. 1000cc are different kind of animals and hopefully I could try one on bigger tracks but here in PH, for me, It's just not it.
Here in the UK, we love them too, but sadly its just to expensive to own one. I am 22.Been riding for a year on a 08 R6 and had to pay £3k pounds on insurance alone, thats half cost of the bike just for 1 year, and its not even full coverage... Sadly these days i think its less about if i want a 600cc or 1000cc but more about can i afford one... None the less loved the video like always!
Your helmet on the floor is triggering. You wild for that mom in the shower clip. Watching this while making my daughter a ham and cheese…fn fancy f. Much love from the east
Hello im new to making videos got a gopro10 but can you tell me the settings that you are filming with i cant make it 16;9 still at 4;3. Using 5,3k 60 fps dont know about the field of view yet thats why im asking :)
I Think 600's are a lot easier to go crazy on as compared to a 1000cc. You can push it to the Limits bcz Limits are already low. That's hell lot of fun.🙂
@@Frank7G Where I live you will not be running 150mph+ for very long without getting killed. About once a week during summer a person gets killed on a bike, primary factor? SPEEDING. I live in the Raleigh, Durham Chapel Hill area of NC.
I ride naked bikes. Currently on a CLX700 but going to a XSR900 soon. 600s feel very smooth to me but the reason I don't recommend them is most new riders won't execute self control. Most 600s can reach speeds a new rider really are not ready for. A year or two on a 350-400 will prepare them for it in my opinion.
About the 600's i think here in europe is because of the licence limitations that we don't see that much 600's i whant a bike but because of my parents i can't get one. But i whould get either a newer 600 or a 1970-1990 400's
I've only been riding just over 3 years, started on a ER6N, went to a Street Triple 675 now on a Z1000SX. I went bigger because the Triumph was just that little bit small for me, 6ft 16st. The Triumph was definitely more fun and nimble but the Z is better equipped, more comfortable (except for the seat) and with the power and ABS/Traction modes it's safer and easier to ride. 600's are great but I'll keep the 1000's or maybe a 900 naked.
If youre alright riding in rain, fog etc then sure. Just remember you need to keep up with maintenance far more with a bike including tires which a set can run 350-500
@@triyo1089 Thank I use to ride even on bad weather but I have a job offer now and have been considering getting bike to be able to get to the places I need to go
that's a tough call. if you're single and live in a crowded city, I'd get a supermoto or naked. specially if parking is an issue. if you have room for a car or have kids..well
2024 CBR 600RR has all the super bike electronics, and it's up on power (hp). Adjustable front and rear suspension, electronic damper, blipper, tft display, and all the traction control at lean, wheelie, etc. No MSRP yet, but tops 14.5k. If im in the market, there is no way I would choose a liter bike. I paid 21.6 k for my s1k last year. If I had been patient, I would have held out for the NEW CBR and saved $7k💰. 9:06
I have either been a 600 kid or a cruiser (Indian scout bobber) but I have been doing my research for the past six months and I’m going to get my first 1K (GSXR) 😏 oooorrr the BMW S1000 RR
From my experience most of the world goes with scooters for utility and saving money rather than fun, i think the manual gearbox is intimidating for new riders, i was a driving a scooter for years until recently when i got a motorcycle.
Hey brother I started to watch your UA-cam recently and have been seeing you on my TikTok for a while now. Now I don’t remember if it was brought up before but if it’s not disrespectful how tall are you? I’m 5’5” and I want to move to a sport bike next year. Any tips or tricks to help with going to a sport bike while being on the short side?
The money people are paying for used R6's should show the manufacturers that 600s are desired. For example, I lived in Utah and used my liter bike all over the 80mph highways. But now I live in Philly and it is way too crowded for a 1000cc. I got the new ZX-6R out here and it is the PERFECT bike for enjoying both the city and the highway.
I know you love your R6's, but it's too track oriented for the street for me. I was the Sales Manager at a Tamaha, Kawasaki & Honda dealership so I could choose which Japanese bike I wanted minus Suzuki, which is OK. This was in 2014. I prefer 600's or 750's to literbikes although you ride my exact dream bike; RSV4 1100 Factory. I'm 37 now, so my new dream bike is the Tuono 1100 Factory. But anyway, the 600RR in black or red. Red looked sweet, but it was the only bike without 100rwhp and it felt weak, smooth & refined, but week. I had ridden plenty of R6's so I knew how they ride. But Kawasaki had just come out with their new 636 in 2013. The ZX came with KIBS (at the time, the best & lightest ABS unit & the CBR's C-ABS weighed like 18lbs more. ZX also came with TC that could be turned off and at the time, KTRC was the best TC on a bike & the others didn't even have it. So for me, the added electronics and extra 37cc's really does make a difference. Have you ever ridden a 2013+ 636? Curious to what you think about them. If you havent ridden one, I urge you to. Would make for a great cideo for you to compare it to your R6 . I also noticed "600's" going up in price. Even though I got my bike at cost + shipping, benefits of working at a dealership, so I paid $11,200 after rebates. Then Kawi knocked the price of the non-ABS to $9,999. Pissed me off. Even though I'm going to try not to sell it, I hated to see my value go down. Now the newer the "600," the slower it is because of Euro 4 and then Euro 5. Top for new sportbike riders I can give... there are many, so I'll try to come up with a new one you haven't heard.. Buy extra wellnuts (for fairings & windscreen) and large cotter pins You have an awesome family, BTW
1000cc bike all day everyday. My 2nd bike will be under 1000cc, but it will be a naked bike..only way it will be another sport bike is if it is a MV Agusta F3RR. Other then that naked bike forsure…& that will be a MV Agusta Brutalle 800RR haha
the biggest thing killing 600s is the european license restriction because you can restrict up to 95hp down to 48hp and after 2 years and a test you can unrestrict it. you drive the max. 95hp bike for a while and most people dont "only" want 20-30 more hp when they get an unrestricted bike

Hey adobo love your content bro! I heard mention of a helmet give away a video or two ago, but didn’t hear how to enter. If you don’t mind letting me know. Thanks in advanced and hope you have good holidays to come!
Scavenger hunt style - details next week
Adobo vlog is hillarious as ever 😂
I would love to own the rsv4 (dream bike) or any 1000cc but full coverage insurance is 200-350€ a month and they cost on avg 25-35k€ used they are like 5-9k cheaper than new. Thats why I stick to like a 600-900cc with around 120hp since thats roughly 150 a month, which is easily doable as student and I can still save up money for trackdays and all
have a cbr650r as my first bike, love it no need to go any bigger, even with no speed limit the 230 km/h top speed is enough and you rarely get to ride that fast
LMAO here from the post that said they spotted you in the wild
That was me! Lmfao
@@Storm6r hahahahahahaha
New rider here but I went with the z900
Who are you insured with for your bikes?
100cc for the street and 600cc for the track
Here in the UK, we love them too, but sadly its just to expensive to own one. I am 22.Been riding for a year on a 08 R6 and had to pay £3k pounds on insurance alone, thats half cost of the bike just for 1 year, and its not even full coverage... Sadly these days i think its less about if i want a 600cc or 1000cc but more about can i afford one... None the less loved the video like always!
that’s absolutely insane holy shit :(
Yup this where a Ninja 400 was a more cost effective option, also tiny damp B roads...
Your insurance is ridiculous I’m fully comp on 2 600s and a car for less than £800 a year although I’m quite a bit older than you at 38.
Question 🙋🏽♂️ how is the reliability of the Aprilia?
Your helmet on the floor is triggering. You wild for that mom in the shower clip. Watching this while making my daughter a ham and cheese…fn fancy f. Much love from the east
My guy's always finding the camera down low haha jk
Love what Kawi's doing these days. Rip R6, had an '06 Raven, Yawnda CBR then there's gayxxers
Until you hit that top speed limit 😂
@@Frank7G Where I live you will not be running 150mph+ for very long without getting killed. About once a week during summer a person gets killed on a bike, primary factor? SPEEDING. I live in the Raleigh, Durham Chapel Hill area of NC.
@spartanx169x I'm in PA, so I have long stretches & great backroads for the twisties. I'm at the eastern part of PA
The chair force😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
ganda ng view sir!!!
I was so craving the new cbr600rr, but seems like Honda won’t able to take it to US market, even their US website is not updated😢
I love your mom. She is so cool
“5.19, that’s not that bad”
6:51 still trying to figure out if that was a real person in the back creepin' on you 😂😅
😂 he’s in the comments
egg AND valentina in the ramen?! my man haha
Limon too
About the 600's i think here in europe is because of the licence limitations that we don't see that much 600's i whant a bike but because of my parents i can't get one.
Hope to have a Review of Italica RT250.
I have that ,but in Philippines that's Rusi 250😂😂😂😂😂.
Bro do you think it’s a good idea to get a bike as your only mode of transportation if you have to travel everywhere for work
If youre alright riding in rain, fog etc then sure. Just remember you need to keep up with maintenance far more with a bike including tires which a set can run 350-500
@@triyo1089 Thank I use to ride even on bad weather but I have a job offer now and have been considering getting bike to be able to get to the places I need to go
that's a tough call. if you're single and live in a crowded city, I'd get a supermoto or naked. specially if parking is an issue. if you have room for a car or have kids..well
i really love harley davidson sound, but i dont want to disturb the peace in my neighborhood... is like a double-edge sword
What are your thoughts on a question 05!cbr1000
2024 CBR 600RR has all the super bike electronics, and it's up on power (hp). Adjustable front and rear suspension, electronic damper, blipper, tft display, and all the traction control at lean, wheelie, etc. No MSRP yet, but tops 14.5k. If im in the market, there is no way I would choose a liter bike. I paid 21.6 k for my s1k last year. If I had been patient, I would have held out for the NEW CBR and saved $7k💰. 9:06
buying used is always the way to go imo. I got my v4s with a full akrapovic and extended warranty for less than what you paid for your s1k.
@adobomoto wow, that's awesome exhaust and extended warranty.

I have either been a 600 kid or a cruiser (Indian scout bobber) but I have been doing my research for the past six months and I’m going to get my first 1K (GSXR) 😏 oooorrr the BMW S1000 RR
I feel like your gonna enjoy more on a KTM 1290 R man if you ever get 1 stay safe kabayan
A Super Mom & A Super Son.

@@adobomoto 🤦🏽♂️ thanks bro. Should looked more. I appreciate you taking some time of your day to reply 🫶🏽
We love you.
Have you own cruiser bike?
When is the Gixer king getting a feature again
The money people are paying for used R6's should show the manufacturers that 600s are desired.
For example, I lived in Utah and used my liter bike all over the 80mph highways. But now I live in Philly and it is way too crowded for a 1000cc. I got the new ZX-6R out here and it is the PERFECT bike for enjoying both the city and the highway.
if I lived in a crowded city I'd be on a supermoto
I bought a 500 as my first bike. Not because i thought a 600 was too much but because the 500 was just over 5k. And im a broke ass
do you have a video of your helmet vlog setup? what mic do you use?
Yeah - somewhere in the playlist. You’ll just have to scroll down to find it
@@adobomoto thank you sir💪🏽
Would make for a great cideo for you to compare it to your R6
Buy extra wellnuts (for fairings & windscreen) and large cotter pins
You have an awesome family, BTW
I owned a 2015 636 - videos are here. before Adobo Moto grew into what it is. I like the 636. great bike. just wish it was ride by wire not by cable
I've never seen a red R6 like that here in Europe in the past 10 years.
But we've got a yellow one, I think 20th year edition or something
15th** Aniversary in yellow.
But the 20th one looks sick, never seen one of those either.
Hey Adobo, I’m stuck between a 24 ZX6R or a RS660. Which one would you get if you had to choose.

Hello from Bulgaria. Whee love the 1000cc but rush the 600
I tell you we love motorcycles in europe speciallly in spain haha but eu contamination requierments are just nuts...
Good ole Tacompton. I thought I recognized Schulster Parkway.
Yessir!
@adobomoto you should ride in socal sometime if you haven't already. At least we can share lanes if we want.

@@adobomoto 😂
1000cc bike all day everyday.
My 2nd bike will be under 1000cc, but it will be a naked bike..only way it will be another sport bike is if it is a MV Agusta F3RR.
Other then that naked bike forsure…& that will be a MV Agusta Brutalle 800RR haha
the biggest thing killing 600s is the european license restriction because you can restrict up to 95hp down to 48hp and after 2 years and a test you can unrestrict it. you drive the max. 95hp bike for a while and most people dont "only" want 20-30 more hp when they get an unrestricted bike
For full coverage, you need the key still for many insurances to cover theft 😂
Yeah in canada its criminal negligence so not covered
I havent seen anything about Honda bringing the updated cbr600rr to the US
Once you past the ego trip you realize 600cc is the sweet spot on the street . Its more fun to drive a slower bike fast than a faster bike slow
