Never seen such a wonderful way of teaching Dutch. But it looks like your last video was 11 months ago. Please don't stop posting your Dutch teaching videos. Eagerly waiting for more.
Dear Ilke, Ik ben lang gelede in Nederland geboren maar wij emigreerden naar Canada toen ik vijf was.Ik voelde me gedwongen om Nederlands te leren dus leerde ik mezelf lezen en schrijven met veel fouten. (Mijn lerares was erg middelmatig! LOL!) Dankzij deze hele duidelijke les begrijp ik eindelijk WAAROM bepaalde werkwoorden bepaalde veranderingen ondergaan. I am blown away and very grateful!
Thank you so much. İ started to learn duch 1 week ago. thats why when i was looking for good teacher on the internet, i found you. You have good teaching way.🙏
I (Dutchy) think you explained this complicated matter very well 👍👍 How more simple it would have been if the change in spelling on the double vows was not made. Like old fashion 'koopen' or 'geeven'. So when I say/hear a long vowel, I write it double. That would have made it much more logical for non-native (and native) speakers. Tip: Als je een werkwoord vervoegt, zet dan ook de persoonsvorm erbij, dan wordt het nog duidelijker.
Verhuizen becomes verhuiz as stam now there is only one constant at end so why it's not like verhuiiz where you repeat vowel and finally becomes verhuiis .
Hi Rahul, thank you for your question. There are two rules that can help you out here: 1. Diphtongs don't double (ui, ei, au, ou, etc.) 2. Double 'i' (ii) does not exist in Dutch.
Bedankt! Ja, dat klopt. There are indeed some irregular verbs that don't follow the rules, such as: hebben, zijn, gaan, komen and the modal verbs (mogen, kunnen, zullen).
@@cleardutchgrammar8904 It will be very nice if you make a video with the modal verbs as well : moeten , mogen , kunnen en zullen . You explain really in a very good way , very clear . Thank you !!!!!
Rijden, snijden and houden are special cases which can go without d for first person. You can also find this in one of the 'stam' exercises (+ answers) you can download on my website: cleardutch.weebly.com/books--more Hope this helps! 😊
