Every time you step into your shop and begin working, you are keeping your grandfather alive in a sense. However much time it takes to feel better; your fellow gearheads will still be here when you get back. Please convey our condolences to your husband and his family as well.
I think the word you are looking for is jig. You made a jig to reproduce exact parts =) Great work keep it up! Sorry for your loss, just know they live on through, God Bless.
Condolences. When a loved one passes on They do not go - they do not disappear They will always be with you In your heart and in your dreams and in your memories Remember them fondly.
A contraption you make for the purpose of holding pieces together to make exact copies is called a "jig". Also, I just want to say that your level of design and engineering is the best I've seen on any channel!
Sorry for your loss. Losing someone you love is the hardest thing to deal with there is. That thing to make more than one thing the same multiple times, is called a "Jig". I love your precision work.
So sorry for your losses. My condolences to you and your husband's families. Take as much time as you need to deal with your grief. When I lost my daughter someone told me "You can't go around it, you have to go through it" and it gave some purpose to the pain. Take comfort in the fact that your grandfather saw your skills grow while he was alive, I'm sure he was very proud of you.
Reading your comment I understood better which relatives she lost besides her grandfather. Also I learned a new lesson that I struggle some times, I never experienced a lost and grief of someone so close, but in another level not so profound as when my girlfriend left me to stay on her on or failed in a subject in college there are some pain when any frustration happens. The thing is survive until arrive the next step when we have to go through instead of giving up or turn to another direction that won't towards to our dreams.
We're all just guests on earth. And it often comes in a harsh way to remember us. Take the time you need. I really appreciate sharing your work with us. And be shure that on projects like this, things like the belt will always happen. But that's what you call "experience"! I'm pretty shure, you'll make it work. Looking forward to see it digging. ;)
Our condolences to both of your families, I'm sure that both those people were so very proud of your achievements and determination, they will be with you both as you go forward. Take the time needed and be kind to yourselves, Ger and Janice, Ireland👍👍
Your Grandpa has an amazing Granddaughter. Some suggestions to turn the skid steer on a hard surface. Put some dirt on the floor so it can skid. Soap will work also and it is cleaner. Try driving a little forward fast then quickly reverse so the front tires lift off the floor and just the rear wheels are on the floor, then turn left or right. When the bucket is full you can do the opposite and turn on the front wheels. Sometimes driving jerky or bouncy is smoother driving and the engine will not stall. Become one with your machine.
My deepest condolences! Knowing someone is sick isn't an easier step to death, in fact it's harder... the want for them to get better is huge but pale in comparison when they pass & you know they're not suffering anymore! As for your build, i'm beyond impressed! I own a skid steer and have for years & know that owning is way different then building as there aren't the stresses of engineering & problem solving required. I would definitely find comfort in knowing that I was one of the few that's tried!! Keep up the great work!
It was sad to hear of you losing your loved ones. We will all be thinking of you and I hope you can get past these difficult times. It will just take some time.
Hello Lucia Sorry to hear about your Grandfather. My sincere condolences to you and your family. You did your Grandfather proud with ability and creativity in his and your workshop he will be watching over you. As they say “ time heals “ but he is in you and your family’s hearts ♥️ Take Care Greg NSW AUSTRALIA
Sorry for your loss. You are an awesome fabricator and I sure your family is watching over you from heaven!! Sending hugs from the United States Lavernia Texas…
From where I'm from, what you made is a jig for that frame work for the seat. Just concerned the engine doesn't have the horsepower to run everything. Those pumps do pull a lot of power. Be proud of your work, been a follower for a while now, your grand dad would be proud of you. So sorry for your loss. Take all the time you need to yourself, family and know that we loyal followers, we're still here for you. :)
I’m sorry to hear about your loss. Do take care of yourself, life is shorter than we think it is. Great job on the seat. Bummer on the belt shredding issue.
Nice! A mountain bike shock!!! We call this type of work "On the fly engineering"... you are basically trying things for proof of concept , and making progress on that one step at a time...and an amazingly effective door system! The big equipment companies should use this...maybe patent it for yourself?
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. I love your videos and watching your work Lucia, but take your time mourning the loss of your loved ones and we all look forward to seeing you back in the shop when you're ready.
Sorry for your loss and pain. We are not promised tomorrow, so make the most of each day and tell & show all of the ones in your life how much they mean to you.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. My prayers are on the way for you and your entire family, I know how hard it is and the lord will help ya'll through this !
Oh I'm so sorry for both you and your husband's loss. I'm sure your Grampa was very proud of you and what you've accomplished! Please accept my condolences on your loss.
Condolences from New Zealand. I am sure your grandfather will be kept alive through you. His spirit will live for ever. My condolences to you and all your family.
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your loved ones Lucia. It is never easy and always takes time. Take all the time in the world you need and never feel any pressure to think you have to rush or please others in finishing your project. We all love seeing what you have done and accomplished and we will always support you no matter what. I have to say I love that door you have added to the Skid steer. Pure work of art. Take care of yourself and your family.
Sorry to yourself and your husband for your losses. I'm sure that your grandfather would have been super proud that you followed in his workshop footsteps and he will continue to watch, as we do, all of the great things that you build and achieve.
Spanners are down for a moment of reflection and remembrance I'd like to thank both ""grandad and mum"" who without we wouldn't have you and your husband We shall see them again one day with tears of joy
Lucia, So very sorry for your loss. I am the last living member of my family and it truly breaks my heart to see your heart broken. I can tell by the way you speak of you family from time to time that you love them all very much. Much love and sorrow and respect from Tennessee
The piece you made to hold your parts in place for welding them is called a "jig" in English. Jigs are used to hold something in shape while it is welded, screwed, glued, etc depending on the type of work being done. Excellent work as always! Your Grandfather would be very proud!
It may not feel like it now, but you have learned how to prevail in hard times. You have shown it with this order build. So sorry to hear of your losses, so close. There is never a good time to go, but it must feel like being kicked when you are down.
Sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one is hard. Please know that I am praying for you and your husband in this difficult time. May Gods love grant both peace and comfort during this time.
May I offer my sincerest condolences with the passing of your two very special family members. To you Lucia and your family. Thank you for explaining the situation you have to face now and still I must congratulate you on th fine engineering of your skid steer loader. May your God go with you! Also my prayers.
I am sorry to hear of your loss. Take care of you. The Loader can wait. FYI I think the word you were looking for about the part you built to hold things in place is "Jig". Take care and be kind to yourself.
Condolences for your loss. Wishing you and your family can find comfort. I wonder what the choice words could be about that belt situation?😆 Maybe a Patreon uncut version would inform me?
Sorry for your loss, Lucia. Wishing you and your family peace and strength. I am sure that your grandfather in particular is very proud of you! You are a gem - we will wait patiently for your follow up!
Sorry for your loss, It`s never easy. Great job on the loader .I think you will have much better luck with the direct drive pump..Looking forward to seeing this.
So sorry for your loss. Loosing two members of your family so close together must be very difficult. I look forward to seeing your videos again when you feel up to it. Take good care of yourself.
It's always brilliant to see someone with strikingly good looks who's NOT just using their physical beauty to cruse through life on easy mode. Way too many handsome men and beautiful women don't bother to learn truly basic life skills because it involves effort, and it's way too easy for them just to sweet talk someone else into doing these things for them. It's rare for "Pretty people" to be practical. I've met handsome guys who'd struggle to work out how to paint a wall without splattering everything in emulsion, and pretty women who wouldn't even think to check if power plugs were connected if their TV, DVD player, computer, etc didn't start when they pressed the power button. They'd just call a technician out to look at it. So as I said, it makes me think there may still be hope for this world 's future when I see someone with Lucia's looks, who's put in the work to built an enviable skill set that puts their practical capabilities well above 99.9% of other folks out there. (Before anyone decides to think I'm being s*xist here, I'm not saying I'm impressed that a WOMAN is building these projects so professionally, I'm saying I'm impressed that someone who could so easily have relied purely on their looks for an easy life decided instead to amass such an astoundingly wide practical skill set that most employers often would need to hire several different people just to cover the roles they could fill !) Oh, and BTW Lucia, the word you were looking for at 2:16 is either going to be "Jig" or possibly "Fixture".
I lost my grandfather 30 years ago and he was responsible for my love of making things. Because of him i now have a shop filled with his tools, much like you. My condolences on the loss of your grandfather. I imagine he’s bragging about you right now.
My John Deere skidsteer front window is just like your design, nicely done. But it must be closed for the engine to run. It’s aggravating at times but it will keep you from trying to get out of the cab with the engine running and the hydraulics still live. Heartfelt condolences Lucia, I know it's hard losing family.
My condolences Lucia for your loss 😟🌹🌹
