- Cleaning snow, digging, loading, transporting, and possibly many other types of work - doesn't matter, the loader is an indispensable assistant.
It's a very interesting project, but the most difficult one I've done. Will I succeed? We'll see ;-) - Навчання та стиль
Rock on Lucia, top job
Oh, thank you Colin! I'm pleased to have such a guest on my channel😊 What you do is amazing!
that's too funny. without even reading the comments, I was thinking Lucia is a way less crazy and much better looking version of Colin. and then I see the comment of the man himself 🙂
What's Furzee doing..get another vid out mate
As a hardcore “do everything myself” kind of guy, from building my own house, restoring my excavator, converting trucks to 4wd, and many other projects, I am very impressed with not only your capabilities and knowledge but with how well you laid out the video. I didn’t get bored once.
Great job
I can’t believe how gullible horny men are. She is and actor
Same here, It was interesting to see how it's actually done, rather than how I made mine...it's a "retired" dumpster and the better remains of two VERY dead YJs.
This video just popped up in my recommend it and I was amazed at the skill involved. I can’t believe you are making a freaking skid steer that is insane! I do not know how you don’t have millions of subscribers? Top-notch craftsmanship and camera work
Thank you very much😊
@@luciasworkshop Just perfect. Класс.
Even better when you realize she's using most of the tools she built or restored. Kinda warm heart feeling when you see those getting used :)
Probably because she doesn't upload regularly. Last video was 5 months ago. Quality is great, but that's wat holds people back I think.
@@Tuur75 plus she is wearing actual clothes. It is refreshing to see more and more female creators showing up on youtube that actually have a skill and not just reduce the amount of fabric for views. Another one i enjoy is quinn from the "blondihacks" channel.
Wow!!! Designer, welder, machinist, mechanic, I am blown away that one person can have so much talent.
You forgot filming, Editing, video scripting, entertaining.
@@ddssrr1614 you are right .
She is a very very talented lady, she's a dream
Who says women can't weld! I see great welds so keep doing an awesome job.!
this is easily the most ambitious project I have seen on youtube, I have no trouble working on all my own shit but to build a skid steer from stratch well this is just amazing and her skill levels it out of this world your welds look fantastic, can't wait to see the rest of it
As impressed as most are here, but also learned some trick I didn't know before (chalk & kerosine). Thanks! Looking forward to seeing more.
Nice little diy crack test with the chalk... I'll be stealing that one for sure!
The person who makes their own tools so they can make other tools is on another level !
Your design & fabrication skills are superb.
You truly inspire me. Thank you !!
AMAZING... not because you are a woman doing this, but that you've designed, problem solved and completed fabrication of a bobcat, - virtually single handed.
You are a legend. I suspect the ONLY reason you dont have a 100,000 subscribers is because you are a woman AND .... most - but not all - men's egos are so friggin fragile. You have succeeded in achieving a high standard of mechanical engineering many men and many women can only dream of. Congratulations !!
Wow!!! I’m also a fabricator/welder and what an awesome job you’re doing. I’ll definitely be following along for the rest of this build!
This video was suggested by UA-cam..... WOW You have a lucky husband, a woman that is smart, gets her hands dirty, builds, welds, forge, fabricates, electrical work and is beautiful. You are every car guys dream wife!!! Great video Subscribed!
The world’s most beautiful and talented fabricator! Incredibly impressive.
Wow. I'm an amateur machinist - you're inspirational! Just a natural at all of it. Your grandfather must be super proud. Keep up the great work! Cheers
Lucia!!! This was absolutely increeeeeeeedible!!! I just joined UA-cam and I’m just doin my hobby woodworking on there, but I’m a machinist by day, and have been a steel fabricator for the last 10 years so this video just encapsulates my life, just in a level so far beyond me hahaha. I run CNC’s everyday. Weld, same ol. Used to think I build cars (until now haha)But you Ma’am are hands down my new inspiration. The fact your run weld beads on that rotary and they come out like that. I mean I just paused it staring at that weld like “bro, are you serious??????”
Your absolutely incredible, thank you UA-cam for showing me Lucia! Show her to the world, what an inspiration. Keep up the great work, just wow you are literally who I want to be when I grow up. Thanks Lucia
Thank you very much!
She'd built her own motor boat, enjoyed it with her family and friends for several years, then sold it off to get some extra dough to finance this project, so - here we are....
@@terencemalik6415 ya after watching this I mean you just gotta say to yourself, yep I’m tired, yep I’m cold, BUT this Has To get done, and I’m the only person here to do it. Absolutely amazing stuff. Very organized and well planned. I’m more the scramble until 3 am every night because everyday I’m changing the ‘plan’ hahaha
Nice to see younger builders using breathing protection. I have several friends who didn't smoke or smoked very little but still developed throat cancer. The carcinogens released while welding is incredible specially when using recycled materials so you are burning off paints and other things. Teflon is another terrible thing to burn, incredibly toxic. I hope the next generation of welders and fabricators lose less friends and loved ones. Keep up the great videos. Cheers from Canada.
Your welding is amazing, makes me think I'm doing something wrong!,lol. The force is strong with this one!.
Holy cow! I stumbled across this due to the youtube algorithm recommending it. You do some AMAZING work! The welds are quite beautiful. Can't wait to see more.
Not sure how this channel was suggested but man am I happy it was. I've spent the last couple of hours watching and can't get over how talented this girl is not to mention how therapeutic it's been watching. I know very little as it relates to fabricating with metal but this channel has sure inspired me to want to learn. Thanks for sharing what you do and can't wait to see how this skid steer turns out.
Thank you very much😊
Impressive....but your welding was what impressed me the most.....😎 Well the pumps and belt and pulleys... equally impressive...
Not only very talented and clever you are one beautiful woman. Looking forward to the next video which are very well done by the way. Your other projects and vids are all winners in my book.
Your skill set is amazing! Love how you built your own plasma cutting table and learned how to use it effectively. Your welds look great. I can hardly believe that anyone would build their own skid steer. The pluck it takes to do what you're doing is awesome!
I could say a million things, but honestly you're just super awesome at everything you're doing!!! Extraordinary work, Lucia!!! In every way, shape and form you're inspiring:)
Please don't stop !!!! I can't wait for part 2 😀😀😀😀
Super impressive stuff I do hope my daughters can embrace something like this that would be so good
I follow several other "makers", and I think you are as amazing as any of them! I look forward to seeing the completion of this project!
It's awasome. Very seldom to see a young woman engaged in such projects, and she got some real talent
waw!! , awesome lady with wunderfull skills , respect my lady 😍, love that , once again respect🥰🥰🥰
If you did this all on your own you are one brilliant lady. Not many out there like you. Excellent work. Thanks for sharing.
I'm glad you're back. I love how you use your previous projects to build your new project. Building the tools, to build the tools.
You remind me of B.A. Baracus from the A-Team. Every show he'd walk into a barn with a welder and a wrench and come out with a tank 🙃. You are incredibly talented!!!! 🤩
Thank you very much😃😊
I love it when a plan comes together.
Tolle Leistung von dir.
Super Arbeit.
Grüße aus Germany
Well I'm impressed. You do really good work and look really good doing it. I wouldn't even want to take that project on
I am continually amazed at your designs, craftsmanship, and ingenuity for doing things yourself. I'm extremely jealous of your shop and what you've accomplished. Thanks for sharing your work.
Wow! Making a skid steer from scratch holy moly your nuts! Awesome work! Very impressive, stoked to see the finished build!
absolutly great build, look forward to more of your work. I think there would be plenty of makers interested in your plans for this machine once you iron out the bugs . xoxo keep up the good work !!!
I am 76 years old and still in excellent health. My wife and I have 4 adult children, 3 girls and a boy, none are married, and we have no grandchildren. I am one of those people who does everything himself. You name it, I do it. Unfortunately, none of my children have any interest in learning what I can teach them, my only hope is grandchildren which I hope I live long enough to see and pass all this knowledge on, not to mention all the machinery and tools, before I depart this earth. Rest assured of one thing... your grandfather is very proud of you, and you have made him very happy. God bless you and your family. You've brought a smile to my heart.
I guess one never quite know about children, and possible grandchildren, what they will do in life and what interest they will have. I'm a generation younger than you, and also got quite some machinery and tools in my workshop. I might have child(ren), but it can happen that he/she will have no interest in this hobby, and if so that's alright to, it is what it is. I now kind of have a plan B that there might be someone else in the family, like future children of my nieses that might have an interest, or children/grandchildren of some friends that I can teach, if someone wish for it)
Thank you very much Ed. I really understand your wish, but the best way for children or grandchildren to be happy is to live like they want and to do what they like ;0)
Wow, I would have been happy watching you retrofit a broken skid steer! But you are incredible from scratch!❤
молодец Люция, идешь вперед не снижая планку по сложности и затратности проекта, респект за это.
Wow, what an ambitious project, I can't wait to see the next installment! Impeccable work as always.
Not at 10% yet watching arleady impressed. Thanx lucia. Greetings from uganda.
I can only imagine how proud Grandpa is, you are truly worthy of all the praise I can give you...his equipment and teachings are in good hands...I would say your in for a wild ride in the years to come, your channel will explode overnight. It might feel like it takes forever but it's coming!!
Great job. Well done on the start of your skid-steer and I look forward to seeing the next stage. Also thank you for the very well-produced video! Excellent.
Wow! The women of my Dreams! Beautiful, intelligent, independent, motivated & hard working! And she took it to the next level! 👏🏼🙌🏼💪🏼🔥❤️
This was fun to watch !
You've proved that big things can be built in smaller spaces.
The welds look great, your fit-ups are crisp and clean...bravo.
Most masterful fabrication at work...I can't wait to see more of the skid steer build !
Your weld lines are an absolute thing of beauty. So clean and perfectly formed
What the heck are you talking about-SHE IS A THING OF BEAUTY
Just stumbled across the channel. Exceptional skills. I'm sure I speak for a bunch of hobbyists who wouldn't mind a longer version showing the metal work.
In fact, I already learned a brilliant trick with the chalk and kerosene.
Simply amazing! The skill level and sharp mind required to be able to fabricate like that is over the top and what a workshop!
Very impressed with your skills, you should be proud of yourself 👍😀
This is just crazy how badass this is and being in a small home shop. Top quality for sure, just amazing and I am totally impressed!! You are awesome!!
I am officially requesting an overload.....your videos are awesome! .5hr video would be great! Thank You for past 14:40, you made my day 😊
Thank you! 😃👍
Your shop alone blows my mind. Then your knowledge blows it again. Awesome video, kept me here the whole time..
Outstanding!!!! Lucia, you have excellent skills for someone so young!!!! I KNOW your grandpa is hella proud of you!!!!
Wow is this build going to bring a ton of viewers.
Well done, so inspiring to watch you work so efficiently and professionally!
Looking forward to more of this and future projects!
Found your channel by accident and LOVE it. Can't wait to see part 2!! Keep up the great work 👍
Absolutely speechless. I tip my hat in respect to your talent and skill.
Not sure I can telegram. I'm better with using tools than technology. Lol
So cool... Very impressive, lady! So glad to see you're not dressed skimply for views. You're absolutely gorgeous and incredibly talented...
Oh Lucia, your shop must be cleaner than my kitchen! I like your videos for another reason, put aside technical and aesthetic ones: you rarely speak, and watching your work is soooo relaxing! Keep it coming!
Wow, nice welds! Most UA-camrs show the project completing in an hour, and you finished in less than 15 minutes. Nice work on the video editing! It was fun to watch, and I want to see the rest of how it comes together.
Ciao Lucia! Grazie per la tua straordinaria pazienza e abilità. Veramente stimolante!🤙🔥
This project is amazing, you have a lot of mechanical engineer experience
I'll keep the compliments short. Absolutely amazing Lucia. I expect your subscribers count will be climbing very fast, as they should. Impressive and inspiring to say the least.
Love this sort of content. Some of your welds look better than mine, and I've been at it for over 40 years. Looking forward to the rest of the skid steer build...subbed here!
A few years ago I built a mini skid steer myself. I’m excited for you and will be watching for the follow up videos. Roger
I had a proposal, but I'm afraid the most beautiful and talented mechanical Engineer I've ever seen is taken.
Wow, from your design to your welds to your editing, you got a new fan!! Keep it up 👍🏼
You have a awesome workshop and amazing skills.
Wow I’m blown away you. Watching you make the engine plate adapter and gears I was literally had to walk away and come back I was so amazed. Building your own forklift
Goodness
Young lady you have acquired a lot of awesome skills. I've worked with stuff like this my entire life and know what it takes to take on a project of this magnitude. I'm very impressed and subscribed.
Found this video whilst looking for something else. was super impressed with everything from the layout of the video the information in it and wow those are some serious welding skills very nice job cant wait for part 2. Definitely worth subscribing to. Thanks for taking the time to put this video together
Can't wait for part 2. Great work Lucia.
i randomly stumbled upon this video and as a welder I have to say I am impressed with the way you work and use your tools/space you have. clearly visible that you are skilled! The video also shown the process well so keep it up!
Great project and nice video!
I think it would be great to see your workflow (idea, planing, preparations etc) as it there is always something to learn from another persons approach on big projects.
Thanks and all the best for your channel
Very interesting build!! the quality of your work is simply impressive. A lot of people on the internet don't have any idea how much work is involved in such a massive project, condensed in such a sort video. big thumbs up for you :p keep up the good work and looking forward for the next part!!
Thank you!😊
You got real talent girl. You know how to use every machine in your shop and do it professionally and make it look easy.
Absolutely amazing. Completely in love with your work and love the workshop will definitely watch again need more woman like you... Thanks for showing there is still hope. Take care
this is the first video I've seen of yours, I like what I'm seeing so far: I like your tools, your shop, and your skill--some very nice welds, keep up the good work, I believe your channel will continue to grow as more and more people watch your videos
Very good vid! I subbed cause I want to see this finished. Having worked on skid steers from the 60's ( some old farmers keep what works)into the 90's from mini to large and one built out of a 1961 Pontiac parts. I think the one you are building will work a lot better than that one.
👍
WOW what an interesting project and equally interesting shop. Not only do you know how to use those tools, but have taken on a huge major project of building your own skid steer. Brains and beauty in one package...amazing! Thumbs Up!
good to see shop cat was working hard along side you as well. awesome stuff. from design to plasma to being welded into place. love it.
I was actually planning to build one of these myself soon except I was going to use two wheel motors plumbed in series per side instead of chain drive.
I do like the chalk/ kerosene trick though. That’ll be useful.
A lot more to go wrong with dual motors PLUS you may have issues you didn't think of.
For example, if both wheels are in equal contact with the ground, the fluid will apply equal torque to both motors, but if one wheel lifts off the ground, all the torque gets sent to the other motor.
Maybe do a small scale test of it first before committing.
@@35manning I don't know. I think there's alot less to go wrong duel hydraulic motors. Hydraulic motors need almost no maintenance or adjustment ever. They're very heavy duty and can handle it. Chains are the exact opposite. I will admit that if something goes wrong, the hydros are more expensive to fix.
As far as the torque thing goes, the motors are in series, meaning the fluid can't flow freely so if one of the tires is off the ground, it doesn't matter. This isn't a differential.
@@stevenbeach748 if they are more reliable with no problems, why don't major manufacturers all do it?
I'm not saying you're wrong (or right), just that it will be expensive IF you make a mistake so take your time in planning and researching.
I'm just trying to consider what problems may occur so that they can be accounted / planned for.
@@35manning its cheaper to do it with chains. There's an oil bath and a bunch of seals to deal with though when building one the way the manufacturers do it.
Trzymam kciuki za sukces!
Pozdrowienia z Polski 👍
Well done - cannot wait to see the finished project. Really enjoy your transitions and music choices.
Mad skillz for this beautiful girl, and some great camera work, but I'd like to suggest she consider more dialogue to add depth to the experience (commentary, narration, comedy, drama, etc). That's what keeps me coming back and subscribing to channels.
Other girls' youtube channels: "Look here! I show you the latest make up tricks, IKEA hacks and crap I have bought on Wish!"
Lucia: " Today I'm gonna build a SKIDSTEER. 'Cause I need one."
Amazing!
"perfect woman of the year"...... Award winner . ;)
Fitter and welder here. I admit I didn't know the chalk, water, & kerosene trick to spot porosity. Learned something new.
Congrats Lucia on making me watch ur amazing ability knownledge of making ur own Skid Steer. will look for pt2 great job so far. lv ur cat.
Even for those who come from the engineering industry, this is no small project to carry out alone in a home workshop. Hats off to the queen of workshops.
Thank you very much! Yes, it's a hard project. It takes a lot of time and efforts, but it's moving on ;0)
It is great to see a lady with your level of skills! Keep up the great work.
I'm looking forward to part 2
A 💯% professional fabricator and smokin hot!! What a treat! Awesome build!!
Amazing! Doing something with your own hands has changed over the past few decades.
Hi Lucia, how brilliant it is to hear your voice in English! I've been following your Russian channel for a couple of years and have watched most your Russian language videos... just watching what you do is teaching me lots of new methods and skills. I also watch other Russian engineering creators (Olego is one of my favourites, I think he is in Rostov) as my wife is from Russia (Omsk) so I pick up some words and phrases that I understand. I'm impressed by your work and look forward to your newest videos. Greetings from Southport, UK (30 km north of Liverpool). Best wishes to you and your husband and Grandpa!
Thank you very much Kevin. Wish you all the best too ;0)
Inspirational, talented and attractive, I would recommend everyone to watch you work, you now have one more subscriber. I hope I don't sound patronising that's the last thing I want.
Brilliant you.
Glad to see a woman working and showing her skills without some click bait bs sticking her ass out or not wearing a shirt. Quality content from a skilled craftsman.
Your workshop and welds are excellent but it was the eyebrow bob when you lit the torch is when I clicked the subscribe button !
So beautiful. And the eyebrow raise. I melted
Normally I don't catch things like this near the beginning of the series! Very happy to have had you recommended and looking forward to future episodes! I have always wanted a skid steer, so I am taking notes! 😅
Oh, welcome to my channel and thank you😊😉
oh my gosh I''ve watched a lot of metal working videos of guys doing fabrication work, very nice to see a women doing this work. I've got 2 daughters who are 7 & 8 and they are already saying certain things are for boys. Society really does teach kids at a young age what girls should do. I try my best to remind them they can do anything!
as someone who's welded frames for a major skid loader brand, this is very cool and impressive! Can't wait for the rest of the build!!!
Oh, thank you
You have amazing talent, fantastic video, I'm looking forward to the next installment 👏👌
