Just found you today and watched All of videos in this series. You do beautiful work, even with the mishaps. I don't craft much for several reasons the biggest being my craft room is my dining room and it's been being painted and worked on forever. I'll be getting some of those file folders next trip to Walmart! :-) you've inspired me. I'm anxious to watch your other videos. Oh and by the way, everything in perspective, I hated turning 40 too, but now that it's 23 years later I'd love to be 40 again. We are dog people too, we always get rescues, last one came to us last October, Buford, a 10 Year old bloodhound. He is #11 for us plus a cat some one dropped off at my parents house. Sorry I'm so wordy, be watching you! Oh, and you can't live in Pittsburgh and not be a STEELERS fan, like to watch the Penguins too. Enjoyed spending the day with you.

I just started looking at junk journaling a couple months ago and I must say ... they say you must first admit ... in order to deal with it .. well here goes ....." This has been fascinating to watch. I plan to make one for my daughter with stories and photos of her 11 yr old daughter who passed from cancer. Then I plan to make one for my next daughter for a budget/bill paying folder.

What is sari silk? Where do you get it?
Sari silk ribbon like the pink ribbon here, is actually upcycled/recycled saris (colorful dresses that women in India wear). It's torn into strips and used for ribbon or sometimes left in large pieces and used as material to make something. Some of the covers on the beautiful boho journals you see the crafters making are made from sari material. I buy my sari ribbon from this etsy shop www.etsy.com/shop/VictorianGypsygirl
