over the split i realized that we really don't have "boundaries". We did everything together and it didn't let us have time to ourselves, which leads to less quality interactions and resentment. There's something fundamentally wrong with that, especially for two naturally independent extroverted people who have hobbies and friends we may neglect. Wishing you luck.

I’m on my first breakup here… it’s been rough, yes I’ve done the shadow work but the situation is currently out of my hands. It’s been 2mo since she deaded me, I reached out a few times talking pretty needy and her responses were so cold so I stopped. It’s been about a month of no communication and I went from feeling empty inside to now alittle bit dead to our connection. My anxiety was through the roof, and some days are better, some are not. I wasn’t perfect, but the love was always there(from my end). Women truly are emotional creatures and have a tendency to “fall out of love” quicker than men. Learned so many lessons in a short period, never going through this roller coaster of emotions again. Life hurts but if u got dumped, the best thing u can do really is to leave them alone. Nothing you say will change their mind, they have to do that on their own.

He started by saying he is tired of trying to love me that I deserve better yet wants to be able to come by. W e get along very well, and have dialogue lots of laughter and affection. And Yes I do feel that I deserve better and I know in my heart he has all that I need. I was very abusive (not physically except for a couple times but it wasn't beating her/punching the wall or throwing stuff at her) and I did a lot of other mean things. We got close to "breaking up" multiple times after I did stuff, but we never had a big split up until her mom called mine in very late January, very early February and said we couldn't talk anymore. My ex told my friend about two weeks ago and then me the other day that she cried and was mad at her mom for two weeks for it. This situation definitely isn't entirely my ex not wanting to get back with me, but it's probably gonna be hard to get her mom to change her mind. My ex has definitely gotten mad at me, taken off the rosy glasses, and gotten into a new relationship/become happier than when she was with me, both as truth because I'm not abusing her anymore and as a coping mechanism like guys say because part of her probably does still hurt about the breakup, especially if I give her enough space maybe. Since we can't hang out in person or call very easily, it's hard to get on the phone to eventually schedule a meet-up one day and texting is just killing everything because since we broke up I've come to hate text conversations in general, not just with her. That can actually be good in the future because texting is dangerous due to things being taken the wrong way. Our text conversations are short and I think that she's bored/annoyed and just texts me to be nice mostly and probably for an ego boost as well, which I understand. Enough quality time together in person can help that out a little. I've been trying to find a way to make money during the quarantine to get my car fixed up/a new one and my license, but I haven't been able to find a way to make that much money (car probably has at least one of a few problems that would cost $500-$1,500+ to fix) and the DMV and license plate agencies are hard to go through. There's some license plate agencies that I can make an appointment at so I can get the car registered and in my name, etc, but I haven't been able to find a close country's DMV to do a driving test and get my license after I get ready. I've been putting a lot of faith into getting my license and car as I mentioned because it'll make hanging out in person better and it might make my ex want to hang out more than if I didn't have all that stuff. I don't like using jealousy as a tactic and I'd much rather just talk and do things the right way but going on vacations and stuff might lead to her wanting to be a part of it again because we never had that while in a relationship. I was 17 when we got together and I'm 19 now. Things could have changed since then, but the same day she told my friend she cried, that was at the grocery store and she also said (I was in no contact which made her mad and she's still resentful for that) that I'm not gonna get her back by being a jerk or something like that. She said that while with the new guy, but since then I've said something else to make her mad. I told my friend she might have gotten her mom to call mine because she was uncomfortable with how I may react if she broke up with me and she took that the wrong way when he told her, she was mad at me for talking about stuff I don't know about. That's reboundable after some time. All in all, I need to spend time with her in person to be able to show that I'm not the old abusive me anymore as I get into situations where I can be tested and that she can have fun and be happy with the new me without having the fear of ever being back with the old, mean, boring me.

My ex and I have been together for 5 years. We broke up a couple of times in 2022 and again here in April. I had anger issues and I messed it up. She said she wants to end it. But all this fight happened just a week back. We had decided of a break, where we can be in talking terms but also give her space until she heals. I broke up with my ex 18 months ago but we have been in contact.. he begged and begged me but I didn’t respond. He stopped afterwards and stopped contacting me. Getting high is the only thing that has helped me not breakdown but I feel it around the corner and I’m depressed again. Ex GF broke up brutally over the phone after 5 years living together and 4 dogs she chose. She never once wanted to talk or say she had any problems whatsoever. Hi im in this position now, I shamefully did no contact for some weeks last time around. I think f/t commitment was at the heart of our problems, and bit of drinking. We had a great love, friendship and relationship otherwise. I think with work on both sides it can work if I can get him back ! I have to admit that I was actually being needy last night towards my ex. I told her how much I love her and how I want her back and at least wanted to be her friend and how I've felt throughout the relationship and of course, as for the results, she was too cold and told me that she instantly lost feelings for me and doesn't love me anymore. It bummed me out so I started to be a little less needy. I told her to take care and fun out with her friends since she was out with her friends last night. She then ignored that message. Hey Coach I am in a situation that I don’t know what to do first of all my recent ex change her number the good thing I still see her three times a week on a group from church so we broke up on December 2018 she blocked me. For a whole month She unblock me but she told me to give her time that she doesn’t want to talk to me I didn’t respect that. I was trying to talk to her but she wouldn’t respond so I stop texting her I Text her the third day no response. over the split i realized that we really don't have "boundaries". We did everything together and it didn't let us have time to ourselves, which leads to less quality interactions and resentment. There's something fundamentally wrong with that, especially for two naturally independent extroverted people who have hobbies and friends we may neglect. Wishing you luck.

It is just so hard to do so while still feeling the longing and pain without your partner. I fell In love & my ex & I had 7 breakups total, it’s over & it sucks but in all honesty she changed me but I just couldn’t find a way to make things better, I tried my best for an entire year but in the end we fell apart. I’m on my first breakup here… it’s been rough, yes I’ve done the shadow work but the situation is currently out of my hands. It’s been 2mo since she deaded me, I reached out a few times talking pretty needy and her responses were so cold so I stopped. It’s been about a month of no communication and I went from feeling empty inside to now alittle bit dead to our connection. My anxiety was through the roof, and some days are better, some are not. I wasn’t perfect, but the love was always there(from my end). Women truly are emotional creatures and have a tendency to “fall out of love” quicker than men. Learned so many lessons in a short period, never going through this roller coaster of emotions again. Life hurts but if u got dumped, the best thing u can do really is to leave them alone. Nothing you say will change their mind, they have to do that on their own.

4 and half years, and she has broken up couple of times and came back. I realize words has dramatic effect. She engages with me after the no contact rules. I just love her with my whole heart and willing to make adjustments to make it work for the long run. Just want to build back the the trust.

He started by saying he is tired of trying to love me that I deserve better yet wants to be able to come by. W e get along very well, and have dialogue lots of laughter and affection. And Yes I do feel that I deserve better and I know in my heart he has all that I need. I was very abusive (not physically except for a couple times but it wasn't beating her/punching the wall or throwing stuff at her) and I did a lot of other mean things. We got close to "breaking up" multiple times after I did stuff, but we never had a big split up until her mom called mine in very late January, very early February and said we couldn't talk anymore.
My ex told my friend about two weeks ago and then me the other day that she cried and was mad at her mom for two weeks for it. This situation definitely isn't entirely my ex not wanting to get back with me, but it's probably gonna be hard to get her mom to change her mind. My ex has definitely gotten mad at me, taken off the rosy glasses, and gotten into a new relationship/become happier than when she was with me, both as truth because I'm not abusing her anymore and as a coping mechanism like guys say because part of her probably does still hurt about the breakup, especially if I give her enough space maybe.
Since we can't hang out in person or call very easily, it's hard to get on the phone to eventually schedule a meet-up one day and texting is just killing everything because since we broke up I've come to hate text conversations in general, not just with her. That can actually be good in the future because texting is dangerous due to things being taken the wrong way.
Our text conversations are short and I think that she's bored/annoyed and just texts me to be nice mostly and probably for an ego boost as well, which I understand. Enough quality time together in person can help that out a little.
I've been trying to find a way to make money during the quarantine to get my car fixed up/a new one and my license, but I haven't been able to find a way to make that much money (car probably has at least one of a few problems that would cost $500-$1,500+ to fix) and the DMV and license plate agencies are hard to go through. There's some license plate agencies that I can make an appointment at so I can get the car registered and in my name, etc, but I haven't been able to find a close country's DMV to do a driving test and get my license after I get ready.
I've been putting a lot of faith into getting my license and car as I mentioned because it'll make hanging out in person better and it might make my ex want to hang out more than if I didn't have all that stuff. I don't like using jealousy as a tactic and I'd much rather just talk and do things the right way but going on vacations and stuff might lead to her wanting to be a part of it again because we never had that while in a relationship. I was 17 when we got together and I'm 19 now.
Things could have changed since then, but the same day she told my friend she cried, that was at the grocery store and she also said (I was in no contact which made her mad and she's still resentful for that) that I'm not gonna get her back by being a jerk or something like that. She said that while with the new guy, but since then I've said something else to make her mad. I told my friend she might have gotten her mom to call mine because she was uncomfortable with how I may react if she broke up with me and she took that the wrong way when he told her, she was mad at me for talking about stuff I don't know about. That's reboundable after some time.
All in all, I need to spend time with her in person to be able to show that I'm not the old abusive me anymore as I get into situations where I can be tested and that she can have fun and be happy with the new me without having the fear of ever being back with the old, mean, boring me.
Do comments like "you're a psycho I'm glad im rid of you, I'm the happiest I've ever been without you" etc mean there is absolutely no chance?

I had a 2nd break up 12 days ago with a guy I dated about 3 months and we never became official for whatever reason he didn't want to commit. First time he broke up with me he cried so much and told me he is such a mean guy to have put me through all that. Then he came back after 2 weeks and told me how much he has missed me, is thinking of me and must see me. He was drunk, but we still met. The day after his attitude got super cold and we ended up having an argument in the cafe because he was ignoring me and didn't even stand next to me when we were going to get coffee. He was annoyed that I was annoyed and so he told me he never liked me, never caught any feelings for me and asked me why i haven't moved on yet. Before he was ok with being friends, but now he doesn't even want to be my friend. He has never ever been this mean to me. He always cares about how I feel.

My ex and I have been together for 5 years. We broke up a couple of times in 2022 and again here in April. I had anger issues and I messed it up. She said she wants to end it. But all this fight happened just a week back. We had decided of a break, where we can be in talking terms but also give her space until she heals. But today she calls me to her place to discuss about her decision of breaking up. I did the mistake of convincing and she said she's not receptive of all this right now. She also said that it's over, and she's done with it now. I hope the content is not as serious as the context, because yeah, she just took 1 week to come to this conclusion. I broke up with my ex 18 months ago but we have been in contact.. he begged and begged me but I didn’t respond. He stopped afterwards and stopped contacting me. Getting high is the only thing that has helped me not breakdown but I feel it around the corner and I’m depressed again. Ex GF broke up brutally over the phone after 5 years living together and 4 dogs she chose. She never once wanted to talk or say she had any problems whatsoever. I've had some nice conversations with my ex, but she still doesn't seem very connected when we're texting. Could that be due to the fact that our conversations aren't upbeat enough? I'm having quite some trouble sometimes to keep a conversation going because she gives very short answers.

Hi im in this position now, I shamefully did no contact for some weeks last time around. I think f/t commitment was at the heart of our problems, and bit of drinking. We had a great love, friendship and relationship otherwise. I think with work on both sides it can work if I can get him back ! Hes away for a rebound with an old friend, cut a long story short we gradually started texting, he even called to talk to tell me he slept with her multiple times, business hes doing etc, although everything was coldish just like dropped the news suck it up kinda thing. I have to admit that I was actually being needy last night towards my ex. I told her how much I love her and how I want her back and at least wanted to be her friend and how I've felt throughout the relationship and of course, as for the results, she was too cold and told me that she instantly lost feelings for me and doesn't love me anymore. It bummed me out so I started to be a little less needy. I told her to take care and fun out with her friends since she was out with her friends last night. She then ignored that message.
The next day, she sent me a simple "good morning" at around 11:30am today. Does that mean anything good? Or...?

Hi...... I get dumped from my ex for no reason and once he found out I was in a relationship he asked for me to be his lady again. Hey Coach I am in a situation that I don’t know what to do first of all my recent ex change her number the good thing I still see her three times a week on a group from church so we broke up on December 2018 she blocked me. For a whole month She unblock me but she told me to give her time that she doesn’t want to talk to me I didn’t respect that. I was trying to talk to her but she wouldn’t respond so I stop texting her I Text her the third day no response. Couple days pass by after we talked just a little bit But it seems that she wasn’t there in little conversation we had. I also messed up by bringing up the break up it was stupid of me. telling her if she doesn’t want to talk to me she could go ahead and block me she wouldn’t do it So we would talk here and then the other following week I brought up the break up I know ur going to say.. that was a stupid idea.. so I brought up the break up again she got mad I told her if she doesn’t want to talk to me she can block me she blocked me. When that I realize a lot of stuff about me I also had a bad day at work they laid me off. So I was mad.. and she hasn’t unblock me at all which today is March 9 2019. On March 4, 2019 she had change her number. I’m sure because I called private couple times I’m sure she felt anxious that she can’t get no space. I’m sure she lost some interest..but the thing is where we go to church she has two friends an there married. Does two girls they support her a lot I don’t know if they are giving her advice what to do which will be kind of dumb if she is taking advice from their friends. so now I got nothing left with no number but we still see each other three times a week. Is there anyway I could flip that what I’m doing right now I dress way better different. I am more confidence I’m centered I’m thinking more Straight. I see her looking at me here and then which I try not to look at her at all but the question is what can I do in this situation or to get her to like me because I don’t want to approach to her since she did that pretty much on changing her number what’s your best advice in order for me to flip that problem that I have? Throughout this time it’s been three months I change so much I build my confidence I went to the process. I did look for her 3 times through out does months ? The reason for the break up was because I got on her apps and I was browsing around something I should’ve never done. I had download an app of Yahoo mail to get to her mail the was the first on December 2018 I confront about some stuff which it was nothing bad my thoughts weren’t thinking positive that day I disrespected her with words. An just about now on feb 15 I downloaded to get something from my mail but it actually open an when back to her yahoo mail an she got the Notification on her phone saying someone from another device her open her Yahoo when I noticed that it took me to her email I try to talk to her on church but I couldn’t I got a phone Texter I explained everything that it was an accident that I didn’t know it was going to take me inside her mail. I’m sure she didn’t believe me. It sucks and it’s crazy how that happened thing I couldn’t of done just be honest with her what happened. Throughout the three months we were getting back together twice and it didn’t happen because of those accidents so what can I do from now on what’s your advice?
