Yamaha MT09 SP Review

Yamaha's triple is a sweet sounding, pavement pounding fun ride. The 890cc engine boasts a 6 axis IMU, colour TFT, aluminum wheels and LED head light. Very impressive.

The slight geometry change in the front end has made the bike a lot more stable at higher speeds compared to the previous model years. It's just a more refined and less sketchy when your on it. Love the power delivery of this this triple and I'm glad they added the quick shifter which I found seamless up and down the box. I picked one up at the beginning of summer and I'm extremely pleased with that decision.

Got mine last December and now approaching 6 thousand miles . Every ride I like ( actually LOVE!) it more and more. Use cruise control regularly which on a naked is really useful on highway. Suspension is fantastic! High quality , superb road holding and very compliant. Motor is just about perfect. Low, mid and top end all pleasing and the sound of the airbox/ intake is enjoyable at all speeds. Agility is more like a smaller 400 than a mid size naked . Best quality from a Yamaha product to date. Above all , mega comfortable and easy to get on with . I have an adventure bike as well and honestly the MT09 feels every bit as comfy .
