Still on the wagtail and pole, but sooner or later it will be a trolley for upstairs, enjoying the informative post... Thanks Mr Dawbler once again.. 26 years on the Squeegee so far!
I use this back pack chris. but like you shut off at the end there was no noise . We use a tap and the pump is all was wanted too keep pumping ? unless I couldn't here yours at the end but they are a good little system
Hey Chris , Just wondering, how much battery life do you get out of the Facelift backpack once you have charged it? Enough power to last for a full days work?
hi hubby and just progressing towards setting up in window cleaning but still at research stage, your videos are brilliant!! trying to find out how you filter the water and searched your vids but couldn't find anything. (although found a great prompt for us to get a brita water filter again for ourselves). Hubby outside now practising on downstairs windows! probably purchase the backpack v soon! Thanks so much
Here's a vid showing you what you need but you should only need one of them for now. Its the 11ltr one by the way. ua-cam.com/video/pnb6QcUA5bg/v-deo.html
@@MyWagga thanks so much- we have discovered the water in our area is classed as moderately hard by Severn trent- does that mean we need a RO system? sorry to disturb on a BH w/e!!!! thanks so much
In the long run, yes but if you don't have many customers to start with, it could be viable for a while since you could get a cheap second hand DI off eBay.
@@MyWagga found this www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DI-VESSEL-11-Litre-With-Head-No-Resin-Window-Cleaning-8-in-x19-in/153469398196?hash=item23bb7d2cb4:g:SFAAAOSwDdlapn-9 so would you suggest we could start up with this, buy the connectors and the resin separately? 10l resin-£45 so I guess that wont go very far? need to buy 25l?
Another great vid Chris. Been watching your vids for a while now and find them very informative. Iv been a trad window cleaner now 25 years and trying to get into wfp. Just brought a purefreedom trolley system. Only using it on my house at mo just to get use to it. At first it was crap. It's took about 4 cleans on house and on my conservatory and don't know if my customers will put up with that amount of time. But the results now are amazing. The whites are like they've been polished and glass is spotless. Can I realy give up the ladders and go over to this? It seems to take longer too.wish I could come and work with you and just see how you do all your houses. Maybe I'm just taking to long, don't know. Anyway, JOB DONE 👍 keep them vids coming 👊💥
+Lee Poulter Yes you can go over to this. I took my time though instead of rushing into it. Bit by bit I changed them over and before I knew it, everyone was on it. I haven't used a set of ladders in years - not even for access. I don't even carry them anymore.
+Lee Poulter Sorry for late reply, I must have missed this. I actually had a Freedom Trolley too. They are well built and will last a long time too. As far as moving over to WFP completely, well what I did was to just do houses with lead on or Georgian because I didn't mind loosing them. Then gradually, I would do tops only on certain sections of my round and do the bottoms trad still. When you first start, you will get runs so you should do the frames and glass, then go back and rinse them off a second time avoiding the frames. It will take a while to change over like this but if you do it gradually, you will get the least amount of problems. Don't just change over night since you will get too many problems. Also, if you get new work away from your trad round, just do them wfp and make it look like youve been doing it for years!
nice vid Chris looks like they're actually made by kobold who make the cheaper backpacks on ebay and rebranded it has all the same fittings supplied i got this for £65 which has the variable flow etc but needs a 25l drum to supply water..not got a pic of it on my trolley but works well worth looking out for one www.dropbox.com/s/szyqd5ltu1uhjqg/20150826_194826.jpg?dl=0

Now if my favorite guy would make a how to make a di tank video...
I could not make a DI tank but I have vids on how to set them up.
OK well if you wouldn't do it, I don't think I'll try it either.😊
