hi Chris I've been been looking at getting a backpack for a while and putting it on a trolley but when I was looking I found a kobold one which already has wheels on it as well as straps. it also has a flow controller everything is pretty much the same as your backpack except it's only an official capacity of 16 litres and brim full is 20 litres and i bought it off eBay for 95 pound just waiting for rest of my equipment coming now can't wait .
Christopher Dawber hi Chris i seem to be getting on well with the wfp system but done a couple of first cleans that hadn't been cleaned in years and had I think they were spiders eggs in the edge of the window stuck right in between the glass and the frame got them out but took a long time to scrub them out any wondered if theres any tips/tricks/tools that could help
There is a product called Vision which is a special additive you can buy to put in pure water. It is said to help with cleaning, avoiding spots and leaving an amazing shine. Type it into the Web.
Hi Chris, do you prefer backpack design or do you find the old 25 ltr drum diy jobbies quicker? just trying to work out if refilling the tanks on the backpack's are a pain compared to just swapping out with a fresh drum.
+Glass Cleaners NZ Sorry for late reply, I been on holiday. Personally, I prefer the topping up method into the back pack. For a start I get less air locks in the system. It's more of a compact set up too so its more agile. The flow rate I have on this back pack is awesome and I have it turned right up all the time so I get a real good rinse and I can work faster. To be honest though, I don't think there is much in it for speed when swapping out or topping up backpack.
@@MyWagga Hi Chris thanks for reply back do you have a video on hi and ro on filling your barrels for backpacks as I have no idea at all. Also which are best facelift or gardiner many thanks Russell.
@@russelldownesdownes5618 ua-cam.com/video/XndmXgUEP80/v-deo.html Facelift and Gardiner will be about the same but when it comes to poles, I would say Gardiner is best. Also in my opinion, X-Line brushes are really good.
Le coup de raclette.NET The pump is easy to change. You need one with 4ltrs per min at 100 psi. Maybe even a 5ltrs one. You can turn it down with the built in flow controller.
+deltafit The trick is to do all the bottom windows trad to save water. Also, I save water by using a tap or to be more accurate, I kink the Rhino tube. Rhino tube kinks and cuts off the water instantly unlike most other types of pole hose. So the answer in my case is about 4 - 6 depending on the size of house. It is surprising just how far I can get these days especially as the cleans themselves are maintenance cleans.
+Christopher Dawber Same here in Poulton Le Fylde. I've worked about 5/6 days in the last 4 wks because of all the rain fall and it doesn't help when Costumers open the door before you start and say don't bother cleaning my windows not while the weathers like this Grrrrrrrrrrr . I pity any window cleaners with young a young family it must be harder for them especially being so close to Christmas.

Thank you for your prompt reply Mr. Dawber. Keep your good works up. Very informative.
About how long does the battery last ( great review by the way )
Hi Wagga, I have bigboy 2 backpack, and pump doesn't cut out when I turn off water with univalve, any idea why, tia.
Wagga, what did you say you put in the water that caused suds?
Its an additive called Vision. Its good too.
What did you say you added to water i didn't catch that..good presentation thanks

Thanx for earlier reply . Just ordered the F.Lift B.Boy . How high in meters can this baby lift the water . 10-12 meters or maybe higher
Since it has 100psi, it should have no problem at 20meters.

is it better than the gardner backpack. flow ect.
No, I would go for the Gardiner.
Whats better this backpack or the Gardiner v3?
Gardiner every time
The only downside is that you cant see what the water level is.
Hi Chris how do you purifie the water in this set up as I'm new to this
Hi Russell, you should use a DI if in a soft water area and fill up your barrels that way. If in a hard water area, look into buying a RO system.

Is the power of this Facelift backpack's pumps enough to have a good pressure with constructor brushes (12 and 16 inches with hydroblades) ?
Le coup de raclette.NET No not quite. I get away with 12 inch brush only. You will need a bigger pump.
Christopher Dawber It means I have no other solution than using a van mounted system with pumps strong enough I think...🤔🤔🤔😐

A pity you cannot configure the backpack directly with the good pump when you buy it.
The 12" brush will be just fine.
Are you on facebook at all were there is a page for window cleaners always aking for advise
Did have my own group on there but in the end I could not cope with it to be honest.
So how many 'average' houses can you do before you need to refill it?

Rubbish average house is 9 ltrs or so what you cleaning lol dolls houses
Got some rain in England lately ?
+Rob The WindowCleaningDude Yes we had a lot and I lost a load of work.
To bad, it was on the news that you had some floodings, we also but not where i live. Otherwise much work now, until Santa comes

how long does a charge last
All day easy. Sometimes you can leave it two days once you get to know it.
And if U convert 45 psi to bar its about 3,1 bar
This should give a water height of 30 m , give and take ?
Does anyone have trouble with a leaking backpack
Yes. I have had leaks quite often but have usually tracked them down and fixed them.
@@MyWagga water seams to pump out when am using the backpack when am cleaning windows the higher the flow the more water leaks out ..any tips to stop this
You will need to find the source of the leak and fix it. Could be as simple as a loose connector.
What a waste of money. Also great way to pull your back out. If you have a bad back etc sod that
