I wanna dance and go to a dance place like yours and stuff but social anxiety prevents me from doing pretty much everything sooooooo doubt that'll ever happen 😂 Good thing the internet exists
I did the same thing with BTS. The first song I tried to learn was Baepsae back in August 2017 and it took me SO LONG!!!! But, by the time DNA/GOGO/MIC DROP were released, I learned them so fast, I think it was like, two weeks tops for all of them. Comparing the time I spent learning Fire (it took me a whole month) to the new songs now, I think I improved a lot 😂 The more you dance, the easier it gets.
You improved quite a bit!! Here's 2 tips tho: you're moves are still a bit sloppy (which is perfectly okay cuz you're still learning!!) so try to put more firm and stronger pop into them when you're learning them so then the results will be better and you need attitude 😂 for example in the last week 11 vid, see how everyone else has that "I'm badass lemme show you" kinda attitude in their moves. Of course it all depends on the type of music like try to really feel the music 💫 if that makes any sense 😂 good job tho don't give up!! 👏😄
Lol I agree. I think that right now she’s just following the choreography and learning it rather than putting musicality into it. Her dancing will improve a lot if she puts more musicality and texture into the moves.
@@hauxani i tried to "feel the music" and record myself......i look really bad like i thought i nailed it. even thought i still practise dancing and still learning, that part about feeling music never work for me.
How do you keep at it? I'm really into watching people dance and dancing myself too however dance lessons are pretty expensive so I'm just really dancing to the music. But whenever I try to learn a dancing skill like body roll by matt stefania, I get bored and lazy and watch sean lew dance instead haha.
Practicing at home is probably the best thing you can do for yourself! I improved the most by labbing at home and discovering my body. Consistency is key and you can do it! :)
I can rememer the choreography but I can't get my body do it. I know I have to practise and I do get better but it's still awkward...I don't even know how to make some moves. (I'm learning for myself) And also, I don't know how to take classes? I'm too scrared to go to random workshops because I'm bot that good and also don't want to pay too much for like private lessons or something. Love from Austria, love you Nami!!❤
same i feel so awkward all the time fml and i hate taking classes so i just learn kpop dances at home even tho i look like a potato lol bet uve heard it everywhere but guess practice is the only thing we can do
It is really important for hip hop that when you dance you don't just use the body parts that are needed but you use your entire body. And you said that you were learning how to do that which is amazing! your dancing really improved and you should continue to make good progress
I’ve also started doing dance twice a week but since January :D and I used to do dance too and had a 7 year gap so it also took me some time to get back into it XD love you! Keeping you in my prayers!
It really makes me feel encouraged to keep learning how to dance by just watching this video; seeing the improvements over time is very motivating. I've just started learning how to dance because I feel like it's something that I just have to do? Like it fate or something lsjddhdhdh ,, I tried dance classes about a year ago but I felt like I was so stiff and awkward compared to my peers (which most were also beghinners) that I even started crying in one class (v embarrassing; I don't recommend). But now I'm determined to learn and have fun dancing, even if I'm really bad. I hope you keep improving and enjoying dancing 💘💓💖💗💞💝
If I ever have the right ( which I don't) I wanted to thank you for pursuing what you like despite the "Mom" image that you have. Most will believe that you shouldn't or that it wouldn't look right as a Mom, but you prove wrong. I believe is a healthy balance between family duties and investing time in you. Keep improving!!! God bless Nacho Fam!
It’s so cool you dance now. Also the way your studio works sounds great. And you have more natural ability than you think! Even in the beginning. You definitely will be able to get better. And I see a lot of improvement too! Also, I’m the same my body doesn’t sweat but when I dance I always sweat. It’s like my body actually needs it to work right ha Your class works really cool... wish mine did that... mine is honestly terrible now. Used to be better but the only teacher similar to your instructors left a while ago and it’s just gotten worse ... I’d join this class if I lived in Toronto... I’m in BC so... lol My dance class ... well it isn’t anywhere near like this so I had to drop it.. plus the other dancers didn’t even take time to learn their parts so ... ㅠㅠ I practice best I can on my own... I really wish I could join this class dang it lol looks great. Okay sorry about that just I wish I could join your class cause I miss it so much haha you’re doing good Nami !
i was literally thinking about joining hip-hop classes TODAY and although i don't have enough time during the week, i wanted to do something as a hobby (a healthy one) your progress during three months are impressive and really motivated me! thanks for this, nami!! 💕
You could tell by week 7 there was a significant improvement, you seemed more fluid and confident with the movements and therefore performed cleaner and with more energy. Well done!
You improved so much from the first day! I think the only thing to reccomend is to have more expression when dancing, it looks like you're even improving on that from the last clips. Good luck on your dancing journey!!!
You've really inspired me to get back into dance but I can't find anywhere near where I live and it's so frustrating! You are really improving and I'm happy to see you doing so well!
Hi Louisa, Thanks for taking the time to watch our video. Dang, that sucks! I hope you'll be able to find some opportunity near your place soon. Take care, Hebbs
Question : I would love to take dance classes but i've never been confident enough and it honestly makes me scared to even think about actually taking classes. Do u have any tips? (i'm 16) you definitely improved so much!
I know exactly how you feel. After a 5 year dance gap I was too scared to get back into it, but I decided to make a bold step and audition for my school's dance crew. I made it in, but am extremely conscious when I dance, as I have far less experience than the others. Maybe a good start would be to dance at home in front of a mirror, and when you feel more confident try joining a dance class. If any of your friends are interested in dancing enroll in a class together :))
Trisha Ysabel I used to dance too, I really enjoyed dancing even though I was not the best dancer lol. Thank you for your kind and helpful reply !!!! 💖
girl go for it tell yourself that you’re going to be a another person when you go in (thats what i used to to and it helped me a lot) and nobody cares tbh like no ones gonna be like “ew you suck” unless you have shitty friends lmao have fun and dont be afraid and make friends!! they boost your confidence :))
Melissa you could actually improve a lot just by learning dance by yourself. Recording yourself and reviewing your moves can help you improve as well!! Sometimes it doesn't necessarily needed to take dance class lesson to improve but ofc sometimes you would improve more compared to learning yourself since we all had this social anxiety😂 I don't take dance classes here because a lot of people (some) here who take dance classes are not that good, usually depends on how much practice you did
Question: For someone who dances for fun but wants to be good at dancing even if it’s just moving what are some tips? Ps: I recommend BTS choreographies they are really fun😆
To dance well i think you have to feel the music and every beat and know why this move goes to this part and how it is in sync with it. Put more emphasis and don’t be scared to make the moves bigger and be comfortable. Let yourself go crazy with it
Questions: What’s your favorite song to dance to? What song is the most easiest for you to dance to? 💖 You improved so much! I so happy for you :) You should be proud of your dancing because I can’t dance, even when I try 😭
your moves have def become more precise, good job! i really want to take professional dance classes, but i'm also embarrassed since i feel like i would have a hard time remembering the moves.
AMAZING!! I love it and the ad is still playing! Edit: I loved seeing your progress and seeing it while you talked over it. It was fun to watch! You’ve improved so much’n
it looks like you're more relaxed on the one on one, in a group i feel like you focus a little more so it doesnt quite look like you're having as much fun, but you've improved so much, i wish i could dance but my anxiety gets the best of me 😫keep up the good work!! i cant wait to see more of your dance vids, (you should make a insta acc for dance vids omg i would def follow that, ps sorry for the paragraph😂)
i reallyyy wanna dance but live really far out from any dance studios.. I dance at home and try to self-teach but it makes me feel really disheartened 😫
I’m going to take dance one next year for my pe credits that I need. And I’m super nervous since I’ve never danced before. I’m afraid of people judging me or telling me that I shouldn’t be in dance class.🙄 but ly 💜💜💜
this is great improvement !! i'm so happy for you!(⊃๑ᵔ꒡ᵔ๑⊂) ❤ one thing i noticed is that over time, you were able to keep up w/ the choreographer a lot better after spins (compare week 2 and week 11 or even today's lesson). you've improved very well great job, nami!
This will be my 10th year dancing. I’ve went to the same studio my whole life since I was five. My studio is not a very advanced studio ( at least for non-competition kids) and my mom would never let me do competition. I love jazz it is my favorite style. I have been loving dancing in a hip-hop style dance in my kitchen or just at home and I really want to learn hip hip because my mom never let me do hip hop. I usually just improv at home and it’s really fun. I want to quit my studio because I just don’t like it anymore and it’s not advanced enough for me in my opinion. I still think I will always dance a lot at home tho.
The dance from week 11 is liit...you slayed...the progess is so omg...I m a dancer too and i m proud and satisfied seeing other people progress...Lot of love from meee ❤❤❤❤❤❤🌸

AH! You're great! I also haven't danced since I was about 10. Took one Hip Hop class and completely embarrassed myself. The studio I went to was very full, so I didn't feel like I had any space to move. This video is super encouraging though, and I might actually check out Vybe. It seems way more fun. Thanks Nami!
If just we could meet :') we would dance like crazy together (I'm a solo dancer=I learn dancing all alone...it's been 2years and half but I'm good enough xD)
Dancing is hard if you make it hard, dancing is also ment for anyone, it does take a lot of sweat to be better but it’s literally just like everything else, & here’s a tip...if you dance while learning something like a language it’s better for your brain to focus and concentrate and learn that’s how I learned 6 languages

Im a dancer :) I recomend practicing body isolation to help improve and lose that stiffness I can see you have specially in your shoulders. See if they have any classes like that :) Great work!
I grew up dancing so im pretty ok at it like I know how to memorize choreography and not be stiff n’ all that jazz but I’ve never been to an actual dance class cause idk im scared, dancing is one of my passions but I only ever do it alone. in my room. bc. i have. social anxiety. yeehaw 🤠🤟
My dance teacher would only teach the dance moves and not even help us how to do it better and how to do it correctly so i quit, i had done it for several months yet i wasnt even as good as you were in two weeks in.
I don't think this is a question but a constant fear of mine is that they will yell at me or call me out when I mess up (in like a group dance) and I'm just so scared of that so I held myself back from taking classes. Do you have any tips or advice for that? Also what closthes should you wear?
ok but please tell me that i'm not the only one who says the intro along with nami 😂
안녕하세요 제 이름은 나미 입니다 Hiiiiiiiii~ it's Nami

I'm tempted to join a dance school now😢

Juzla J just dooooo itttt join beginners classes first to remove unnecessary insecurities
I’m in a dance class my first class is today at 8:00pm-9:00pm I’m excited and nervous! Maybe you should try it!
Yesss try it
are you planning on making a dance cover of a whole song? (preferably a bts song lol)
You improved quite a bit!! Alicia Nichols
I’m also self taught/teaching myself. And I agree memorizing a choreography is really hard. 😂

I love dancing, especially to K-POP songs. You should teach your kids to dance.

Well done on your love and commitment ❤️
You're honestly so good already it looks so natural😆And what do you think is the most important technique or move you've learned so far? Great video🌻
Can you talk about confidence and how you were able to take your first class and not be afraid to make mistakes?
Dancing is hard if you make it hard, dancing is also ment for anyone, it does take a lot of sweat to be better but it’s literally just like everything else, & here’s a tip...if you dance while learning something like a language it’s better for your brain to focus and concentrate and learn that’s how I learned 6 languages
We love a dancing queen ❤️
you've improved so much!!!! i'm so proud of you 💞
your movements are much smoother and like they "flow" shfjjf this inspires me to take dance classes.. i've always wanted to bc i love to dance but i'm scared

I really want to do dance but I'm nervous about how challenging it is because I'm not that great at remembering things 😬
Im a dancer :) I recomend practicing body isolation to help improve and lose that stiffness I can see you have specially in your shoulders. See if they have any classes like that :) Great work!
