Massive improvement. I especially liked the focus on the neckline this time. I do think his natural middle part is going to rear its head and he'll want the fringe trimmed sooner than later. He mentioned not wanting it in his eyes but picked a cut that was super top-heavy. Go figure. Really solid cut!
Could you also do some cuts on men in their 40’s, 50’s and 60’s? I think some of us “more mature” gentlemen would like to see some options. I’m 59 and have a full head of long hair. What can I do to change my look?
Another great cut! Dan spends such an incredible amount of time with the client before hand . Very few barbers do that but maybe that is why Dans the Man! On another note Liam does an incredible job behind the camera and Dan gives him credit but I don’t think we’ve seen him on camera…or his hair!

This fellow has great hair. I liked it better just clean and tousled before he put the stuff in it. Would love to see him without the moustache cuz it kinda detracts from his youthful good looks.
the way Dan can translate a photo into the actual haircut is phenomenal, normally you show a barber a photo and they just give you their textbook short back and sides. id love to be able to send in a photo and ask Dan to explain what that haircut actually is in barber terms which i could then ask the barber....you could do that for more content :)

Dan, another great cut! I would think that anyone could learn to cut hair, but there's some inner vision that takes a hair cut to the next level. You have that, and I don't think that can be learned or taught. You're certainly a gifted barber. Dexter looks great with the cut you gave him!
@@seanadamson7260 yh the client had unrealistic expectations as Dan mentioned his hair wasn't long enough on the top for that style he wanted, it'll grow into it in few weeks but at the end he didn't seem thrilled.
@@seanadamson7260 He had the length though to get the cut or at least 95% of it. Now fella has to go in for 2-3 maintenance cuts to get what he could’ve had in one visit
the texture is mainly at the front on these cuts. I would have left the crown less textured so its flatter. You can do loads of parallel cutting into the fringe to make it flick. Shave the tash.
I always wonder how many of these guys become regulars or if they go back to wherever they came from and have to find someone with the balls to try to cut after you, Dan.

Hes the best barber ive seen. In belfast we have these turks and kurds barbers tell ya what there butchers honest the got. This guy the attention to detail in perfect.
i cannot get my hair to do this no matter how much i try and look at references videos like these my hair is fighting against me so much even when i try to look at videos like this one that says its for wavy hair whats wrong with my head :(

Like you well enough Man ......but you can be a BOMBASTIC ICONOCLAST. .......I like about 75% of the cuts (mainly the ones you concede to the clients wishes) ....and not nearly like this poor fellow who looked a little crushed .......BUT ..Heck it's only hair and once in a while Dan does an absolute transformation ..for those lucky enough to suit his go-to "heavy on top etc etc ".......He should have a side hustle as a "Motivational Speaker " .....for insecure young menc....He is a success.
You would not believe how hard it is to cut your own hair with scissors. I do it, but man it's hard. The problem is that I would only trust Dan with my hair, but I live in the States.😂
Totally agree, a lot of nowadays haircuts are way to heavy on top. A lot of times these guys look like they have a mop glued onto their heads 😄 Years from now these TikTok boys will look back and say, "what was I thinking".....
Hi guys great channel. I have a question I would love for Dan to answer. Just started using a hair band in my hair, just wondering about the damage if any it can cause if wearing it most days whilst at work. Is a certain material better than most? Any knowledge and stuff on hair bands would be great! Thanks
I don't think the haircut he wanted suits his face( ehm mustache ehm) or personality. He's got a good bone structure and could prob pull off literally any other haircut. He also didn't want a longer haircut but chose a reference with a longer haircut. Also the direction of his hair growth, hair type, and curls don't go with this haircut. If he wants to achieve that tik tok look he'll have to spend at least 30 min everyday styling it while the tik tok guy gets out of the shower and walkes out the house bc he chose a haircut that matches his hair type. The hair in the front likes to sit flat towards the right.
You gave him a nice haircut, though I must say I preferred the longer look on him. Also, in my opinion, the "curly fringe" look is becoming quite tired. Of course, I didn't like it when it was "new," but now it's become a bore. It seems that grown men are trying to look like 12-year-olds.
Great haircut...I've spent as much time on a similar cut and received a $2.00 gratuity for it.......wow. No matter what I still do the best work I can with the time I have, ...regardless. Been doing this for over 40 years.
Sorry to say but It's my personal view that This type of hairstyle looks untidy.... In my country very few people have fringe.. We comb alot that's why everyone here has thick hair... Combing increase blood circulation 😅
