There’s a ton of ways to describe Dan, but he is simply… the epitome of hairdressers! I’ve never had or seen any hairdresser, male or female, take so much care of a clients wants and needs, his skill with those scissors is something to behold. Total ASMR ! ❤️
I LOVE watching Dan use those scissors and transform men's hair and actually change their lives. People do not realize the importance of a really great haircut and what it actually does for persons self esteem, inner peace and happiness, their confidence and their general outlook on life! Looking good on the outside will ALWAYS help you feel good on the inside. When you feel good inside you naturally radiate beauty outward. That beauty and happiness makes the world a better place. People might say "give me a break, it's just a haircut!" but I believe it is much more than that. Dan has the talent to make people look and feel good and that is crazy powerful. I wonder what this man did when he left that shop? I can only imagine what he had the confidence to attack when he walked out the shop door. Maybe he landed a client for a building project! Maybe he asked his dream woman out for a date! Maybe he took some pictures of himself for social media that attracted a company that wanted him to model for them!! Maybe he just made a new best friend, I don't know but I know he looked great and I could see that he felt great too! His possibilities are endless and it all started with that haircut. Been cutting dad's hair since March 2020 and recently my dad announced he's no longer going to go back to his barber. He loves our home cut style. You can see the genuine love care time and dedication that Dan has for cutting hair huge huge inspiration for any apprentice any junior barber or even any barber who wants to learn new skills from him! Been watching Dan’s videos as some of them inspired me to grow out my hair which i tried but yesterday went for a BIG TRANSFORMATION like in the undercut fade video that Dan did! Keep the work up Dan you’re doing you’re smashing it right now and you’re the best in the game! One question though Dan as i currently now wear my hair as an undercut look do you have advice of wether i should use a scrunchy band or normal hair toggle as only the normal hair toggle works for me? 👌🏼

I have been asking for a similar haircut for 7 years since my last barber emigrated. I want a fringe that is shorter on top getting longer so I can leave down or quiff up with product and I want the sides and back grade 2 razor.
No hairdresser has been able to achieve this for me, usually cutting it too short.
I go to a different hairdresser every six weeks now and it's exhausting. Wish I lived near you !

Love watching this man work!! Question - Wondering how long a filmed cut differs in time from just someone walking in off the street or a scheduled appointment... I understand this is UA-cam and editing...
About 15 minutes usually. Dans appointments are an hour for a haircut plus consultation, washing and styling. We set aside an hour and 15 minutes for filming! But a lot of the time they’ll run to a pretty similar time - an hour or so!

What texture powder do you apply at the end? What is your opinion on powder in general? I‘m always a bit hesitant to use it, because it makes my hair feel dry. On the other hand, I love the texture and separation. Besides, it takes me forever to wash it out again. Maybe I‘m using the wrong one?
