I really appreciated this guide as I just bought iRacing this week. I entered my first race after practicing laps and with AI this week and got my first win in my first race! Of course this is because second place (who was faster than me) took out first place (who was definitely faster than me) and left me about 3 seconds ahead of second. The irony of this is I didn't hit my goal of 0 incident points (3, which was the lowest of the group) and think I'll be chasing this high fora while.
Thanks for the guide pal you are definitely the master of the Vee. My first race in the Vee was this week and I was fighting for the win until the car ahead spun taking us both out. Got 2nd in my next one though thanks to this guide.
Hi I’m a fairly newbie and love your videos (do what you say and still 2 seconds slower :)). How do you set the weather chart on your screen. Seeing the wind direction is super helpful. Thanks
Love these, even though I an a couple seconds off: I love the Vee, 1600 and MX5 racing more than anything else. I hope you dont mind the questions....I usually find I have to lift a little where you are flat - in this case though as I approach the final corner I am having to lift more than I normally would in relation to you. Apart from my natural novice status is there something that could be causing that? Of course I can lift to a point I make it - just though feels its not close to flat for (novice) me. Perhaps just the track status I set in Test Drive? Perhaps just little old me, perhaps getting the turn in point and turning angle right.
It’s a good question. This week the wind has mainly been from two directions and keeps switching between the two. If it’s a tail wind into the final corner then you should be lifting. In my guide, the tail wind was on the straight so wasn’t an issue on the final corner and I could take it flat. That’s why I find the overlays very useful.
This week the record lap is a 1:26.804 by Gianni Lutzu, next is Avery with a 26.894 and I’ve got the third fastest qualy lap with a 26.909. There are only six people that have gone under 1:27 out of 4,300 people that have raced here.
Hey Sam, I might just be brain dead but when you say 4 clicks back for break bias are you saying 4 clicks back from the default (64.7% or something) or do you mean 4 clicks back from 50%?
Really appreciate your guids! Thanks to you, I got my first wins ever at Navarra 😊👍
Glad I could help mate, thanks for the feedback.

maybe stupid question...is that the view you have in your cockpit?? or is just the replay like that?,,,
That’s the view I have yeah although only when I’m stationary with my head as I’m in VR

Did a few laps this morning and was basically 6 or 7 tenths slower than my quali laps from last season, so yeah... track conditions really change it
Yeah for sure
broooo i thought i was going crazy when i couldn’t match my times 😂
I see people did 26.5 ín quali...is this possible?

Yeah four clicks back from default (so 65.5) bud.
