Great explanation on this Component. I'm amazed at how much torque these things can take, given the amount of weight that's being moved through the drive train. Thanks for sharing this repair. God bless!
I’m having that same vibration issue while letting the truck coast at one speed I feel a vibration going at 65 mph feels like a driveshaft issue have been to 4 shops and no1 can pinpoint it have had my driveshaft balanced, u joints are fine everything is in time yokes check and nuts are tight real difficult issue to pin point
I had a day cab classic I pulled all the axles out and ran the truck in high gears and got up under truck and I put my finger on drive shaft while it was turning and could feel it beating against my finger. I had another drive shaft made solved the problem. They are not that much to get made at power train. Usually the yokes on shaft are bad. I would put new u joints in and they would still move when I pushed on shaft
My truck has problem when I turn differential switch on I hear air does something but only one rear wheel spinning on passenger side. What can be the problem? What's need be checked or replaced?

This is exactly what's Happening to me to. Very helpful. Thank you
Vibration still there. Found the problem though, yoke nut on back of front rear was loose
Oh
The front yoke started vibrating again so I put some washers into the through shaft where the power divider shaft slides into and now is tight

@@DanielHernandez-cx3vh sometimes it can be tires out of round. Normally they shake at two different speeds like 45 and 65

How has the power divider held up since the repair?
Great videos! Love the big tru k videos
I really appreciate you brother
Great video & great camera work & explanation
Curious to know if after a year later of fixing your part of iter if it's still working
I think some of that movement you have when the yoke is off is fine.
How long did that front power divider last after rebuild
did you have to use heat with the big gun and one inch socket?
Is there a kit I can buy those washers mine is loose to? Thanks nice video.
So is that Ingersoll, rand 261 how is the power? to me, they seem extremely heavy I prefer the 2146Q1MAX
How did it do man ? Good video
Good stuff, great video where did you get rebuild kit? I need to do mine
There's a place called power train nearby. They also build driveshafts
red silicone is the winner here, get me the name of it, i got to get that for me, looks like it gets glued up pretty good
It's permetex high heat. Never had a leak with it on anything
I got the same problem did you fixed the problem with the washer??
I put a few washers inside the through shaft. It's working good.
It was the yoke on drive shaft causing the vibration
There's a shim pack at the input retainer no need for any extra washers
what causeing the vibration
Yoke on the driveshaft was worn.

Hey bro you check your truck axial spinning axial meaning and another axial I think your axial are dameg
My doses it down a hill wile slightly touching the throttle
Sounds like yoke on drive shaft or u joints. Unless the bearing on power divider loose. Most have shims you can take out to tighten bearing
Replace bronze bushing too
ok men
If ou ever gotta pull it apart again punch the pins out the back it'll practically fall apart
Floor jack would of help loosen instead of banging the screw driver in
Great idea
Should of not used a 12 point socket to take that off should of used a six point socket
Its the only one i had that would fit and it took me an hour to find that one😂😂
