I practiced these tips today and had great results. Tip #1 was amazing, as stated I didn't know I was doing that. I was hitting irons amazing for a while then noticed some not so good. Then focused on #1 & #3 and, Wow! I couldn't feel the ball off the face of the club and the tragectory was close to ideal. So gained some distance there....which brings me back close to where I was a few months ago. I use 2014 era blades and my 7-iron was back to a normal 160-yds landing according to the yardage posts on the range with my range finder. Drill #2 is apparently what I do currently...that drill felt perfectly normal too me but I did feel like it helped get my rotation improved a bit. Anyway, fantastic break down of a few issues I have had for a while. And big thanx from me for the tips.
I'm back. LOL. Weight on the heels and bent right elbow has been working amazing. When I start to get some poor shots, I reference back to these drills for a few minutes and immediately hit good shots. Like step back and just observe the ball flight type of good.
Always great video lessons from you, Jonathan. I'm in the Southeastern US and it's like a steam sauna here in July. You're still wearing a hoodie and vest. When do you get summer in Scotland?
Hi Jonathan. Great video again. You know my swing since you have worked on it recently. . I happen to shank too regularly. Cannot find the main reason. It looks like it is a mixture of all 3. Any idea about where I should start. Thank you.
dude, you remain the best coach on YT. thanks for really explaining things in an understandable way. cheers!
Thanks bud!

Thanks bud! The whole of the UK is currently having one of the worst summers in recent history.

Hey Guy! Straightening the right arm is your shanking root cause 👍🏼
@@jchowngolf You are the geatest my friend. Thank you.
😁👍
Thanks bud!
Easy method: If you consistently hit off the heel, you probably need to stand farther from the ball……
A quick fix but doesn’t fix the root cause
