LEARN HOW TO DO A CANNONBALL SPIN IN FIGURE SKATING! (journeybacktotheice)

Hello! Today’s video is about my favorite sit spin in figure skating and that is the cannonball spin. The cannonball spin is a more advanced sit spin position compared to the basic sit spin. If you are looking to challenge yourself or elevate your program I would definitely recommend giving this a try! I tried my best to break this spin down into super easy steps making it a tutorial that any skater can feel comfortable following along with. I do highly recommend making sure you are mostly comfortable with a basic sit spin prior to trying this position because it does require a lot of core strength. I highly recommend stretching before trying this. You will have a much easier time and limit your risk of injury. Let me know what your favorite sit spin position is in the comments below!
