Back when, I had a pair of redwings. They were great. I was in construction and that’s what I used them for. Never thought of buying a work boot with a suit.
I highly recommend going to the Red Wing store (if possible) and getting sized there. I wear a 9 1/2 sneaker and was surprised to discover I wear an 8 1/2 in Blacksmiths. Most people go 1/2 size down, but some people even need more than a full size down. If they feel comfy when you first put them on, they are too big. They should feel almost uncomfortably tight at first, but will break in after several weeks of wearing them one to two hours a day, and will break in faster if you condition them several times with Red Wing leather cream.
Got a pair of these a couple weeks back and not dissapointed. Versatile and comfortable. Simple, good looking boots that can last a lifetime.
My favorite pair so far!
Thanks appreciate that!
Bought a pair in this leather because of this review. They are coming in today.

Me too! I’ve been wearing Red Wings 606’s for years as a laborer.
Both great boots
Do these fit the same as the Iron Ranger?
Beautiful
nice review, brother. That one's gonna be my first Red wing boot//troutbumandsam
Nice casual review 🍻
Thanks! Appreciate it
Thanks, nice review!
Thanks man
what color name of this boots in store? black or charcoal ?
Black prairie
Great review, was the size as expected and does it differ from dress shoe size?
Buy them a half number less. I usually use 9.5 in shoes and 10.0 in sport shoes and my red wing size is 9.0
Could someone with wide feet pull these off?
They were pretty snug! But I think they make a wider size
How’s the fit? Down a half size?
Full size
@@BootsandWatches Thanks, I just ordered my Iron Rangers. Based on the reviews I ordered a half size down. Fingers crossed they work out.
@@BootsandWatches Really like your blacksmith boots. Might have to pick them up sometime.

@@BetaBuxDelux Does it worked to you to go half size down? I just bought a pair on Facebook half size down of my regular sneaker size.
An on foot look was all your video lacked.
