Great content, I absolutely agree with patience, seems to get easier as one gets older. Also being in the moment or paying attention, it’s amazing how many times I haven’t been for one reason or another and gotten bit, it’s like the fish know
Patience, I cannot count the times that I noticed when fishing or even watching fishing videos how many times bass anglers get a bite when they unintentionally pause their retrieve,(pick at a backlash, move a rod on the floor, take a drink, talk to the camera). That unintended pause caused the strike and the angler doesnt realize it! The fish will tell you if you pay attention!
Back In the 80s Denny Brower was doing a seminar on flipping and got me flipping left handed so you don’t have to switch hands and are ready to set the hook best technique ever I’ve seen accuracy make all the difference in catch ratios it is very important
100% left hand is better and not just flipping and I’m a right handed guy but, I started early using left handed bc of my dad. Also, you’re setting the hook with your strong arm as well. Some right handed guys use their left hand and don’t have to switch but, I don’t see very many.
50 years is 18,250 days, not counting leap years. I think people know about casting accuracy, even if it is subconscious. I'm certainly not a pro, but I know when I hit my spot, my chances of a hookup goes way up. I don't intentionally practice, instead I fish more. I can't catch a fish in the backyard anyway. As I've said before, I used to fish with my cousin, who was a very good fisherman, still is. He made me better just by watching and being around him. If I were a co-angler on RB's boat, I would just sit there and watch.
More good Info. Randy. I'm Guilty! I admit, I have to practice casting. And concentrate better. I do try and remember you'r advice when I'm fishing. What Would Randy Do??
Hi unkle randle just got eagle eye live scope im pumped im the king of my jungle the star player on the water y is everyone upset the new guy is winning with the scope
Bass fishing is about 70% mental, and the rest is "%' wise? What? Maybe like a mix of physical and technical experience, "Karma" (Luck), etc.? It's a very humbling sport at times.
Randy, love your content, but honestly the audio has been horrible lately. You have done and can do better! Also ive got an idea for a video. You were Aaron Martins friend, id love to know what you think his thoughts on ffs would be. Aaron is who i think of when i look back to early drop shotting at severe depths. He was so good with the spinning rod it seems like he would have been a monster with ffs, but he also seemed very into conservation, which seems counterintuitive. Would love to know you're thoughts and opinions.
I’m not sure why that is. I actually got a microphone a couple weeks ago and everybody has been telling me the audio qualities better maybe it’s something on your end?

Agree, I caught a 4.3 pounder while picking out a backlash.
@@jimmyjackson2361 I cannot count the times it has happend to me!
Most true tough guys are soft spoken... like Randy.
Not just different angles but different speeds and cadence helps generate the strike.
Still loving the hat!!! 🤠 And still loving the channel!!! 👍 STILL THE #1 FAN!!! 🤓 And still loving the haters😎🤗
That was brilliant.
Some good ones in here
You definitely have been on ...i need to hear myself talk... videos. Go get them gold nugget!!

I can’t cast worth a flip
Pun intended 😂
Did u change the title?
😂
I just watched this an hour ago
😂
How to stay around a tree in the water for multiple casts with wind without starting/stopping the trolling motor.

Tonaments should ban electonics, if you can't fish without them then your not a fisherman period.

Also I think slower is better. Fish move slow and most of whatever they eat is slow.
They dont call it " angling " for nothing.

Might be on your end… seems like his audio is better than usual….

Audio is perfect
