great video. I personally think if you take care of 2 strokes the engines can last a very long time. u know doing the correct cold start and using the correct oil/coolant.
+Meeker Extreme Lol run an hour meter, my one is about to be rebuilt last rebuild was 37 hours ago but i ride my bike hard, has developed a stutter in the top end

Good video. Thanks for upload!
so this was around 100 runing ours?
How many hours had that engine?
+Giulio Corallo I go by rough mileage because I ride too much to remember every hour I ride.

dobes vs LOL I could but why! I just go by mileage. I'm a trial rider remember not a racer.
So am i but the hour meter cost bugger all and great for keeping track of service items, etc
your speedo should measure both distance and hrs, no need for hr meter, but I would say around 250 hrs. jut press them buttons and search for it.
that's not stock piston is it ,look good it don't look cast
The one in it was a stock piston yes, the one I put in isn't.
You must be riding at very low rpm, to have teflon coating almost intact at that mileage. Old piston is still good for many miles at that use.
Boulder fields, so yeah
