Hey Darrel I love the video, but as a HUGE Lynyrd Skynyrd fan I can tell you that Simple Man is tuned to E flat standard and is played slower. I love your videos and keep up the great work!
Not overly difficult and really pretty, "Wish you were here". I'm learning myself it right now with the help of whatever videos I can find. Such an amazing song.

I'm just in love with your style of explaining and it's so great to see you having fun while playing guitar. I just started off playing the guitar a few weeks ago and seeing you play, makes me heartbeat move faster. Thank you for your inspiration!!
Darrell Braun Guitar a good picking song is the beginning of Pompeii make a D cord but put your middle finger up then play the 2nd and 3rd strings 22323223232232322323 after playing the first 22323 move your ring finger then play 2232322323 then move your middle finger then play22323
i like your teaching technique, so simple but effective. I've seen tons of learning videos that they make it so hard and boring, but in this video, that chords part, using tabs and playing once slow once fast is making it so easy and fun. i want more of this videos.
getting no dislike is also an achievement .......shows how good you are at what you do .....u inspire , u teach and we play ...thanks for the lesson :)
I've referred to this video probably 30 times, the progression of the songs is spot on and I would suggest to anyone reading this to try all of the songs fingerstyle
Really fun variety of songs from so many different decades. This will keep the picking fingers occupied for days! Nice to bring out the acoustic again as well. Thanks for another one, Darrell!
Just some feedback for you Darrell, this is the first video that I have seen of you, and right away from the start of the video I noticed that you were smiling and you kept smiling through the video. It may seem simple, but this immediately made me interested in your video and I subscribed to your channel halfway through the video. Your joy for what you do is contagious - keep up the good work :D
Hey Darrell, excellent channel mate! Just came across it, love the simplicity, the friendly non condescending attitude, and the playing of course! Made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Awesome, and thanks!
I just wanted to say thank you, your videos on intonation helped me solve my guitar issues... Successfully dialed in my new guitar.... it sounds great!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!
Hey Darrell, this is some really great work you did there !!! I could play the first three songs almost right away and then lerned to play the other ones in ascending order of difficulty, which really helped me and improved my fingerpicking. Again, awesome job! Thanks and cheers, Fabrizio
The choices are awesome and I can't wait to begin learning! A lot of these songs are some of my all-time favorites, so thank you for providing sheet music and the tutorials!
Fantastic video. I'm about 2 weeks in to learning guitar and my friends tell me I sound like a pro with these. Now if only I could play more than the intro lol
What an awesome tutorial! Just the workout I needed for my picking skills, and all of them are great songs to add to my occasional training repertory. Thank you!
It is great to see some Skynyrd played by you Darrell! I remember when I just discovered that band back in 1978 and then they went and got killed right away in a plane crash! Bummer big time! I had the original Street Survivors LP with them in flames, but then their record company pulled all those from the shelves because of the crash. I wore that album out. I should have kept the cellophane cover intact and bought a second copy. The originals are worth some money now. What great music! The best Southern Rock band ever!
I like the cave, but I always mess up after the first 3 notes. Which bothers the hell out of me because I play much much harder stuff, but my fingers just do not listen when playing the cave.
It makes me extremely happy that worship artists such as Kutless and Tenth Avenue North are included in this! (Already knew By Your Side, but it still made me giddy!)
I loved the video! I appreciate seeing such a simple showing of complex material. I'm completely intimidated by the harder songs, but I'll try to build my way up. Thanks!

great vid. phenomenal picking song for skipping strings while challenging the left hand is Bach's Cello Suite 1 in D, which sounds almost as good on an acoustic as it does in a cello
