I've been using it for a pen and paper roleplaying game that has very little models available. as far as i can tell, i'm the only one doing it. was super impressed with one of them turning out better then a simple sketch in a book. there wasn't even shading in the drawing.
Hi nice video thanks. Just one point you may or may not know. When you split your model, if you uncheck the box by the part you don't want to keep, it will delete it when you perform the cut. However, how you did it is just fine.
I just tried to do the AI scanner... Complete fail. I'm using a MacBook Pro, that may have something to do with it. I can upload the vid, but when I try to create model Safari says it cannot complete the procedure. I have tried 3 times with the same result.
Just 2 days ago I tried Kiri Engine which was acceptable for portrait scanning and terrible at scanning my car (all parts with glass looked terrible, as well as some body panels like the roof and hood) but if this is free (my having an A1) I will definitely try it. Plus I rather upload a video than 100 photos.
Where the ai at? It looks like another photogrammetry pipeline, nothing new. Reality Capture is free to use as well and it's one if the best photogrammetry softwares out there
Very good demonstration, I have not tried it yet but will do that today. tks for posting it
I was quite surprised by the Popeye model. It turned out way better than I thought it would. Cheers for posting.
Yes me too, based on what I'd experience with other software it is surprisingly good.
Hi the graphic on turntable where did you get it thanks
I've just added a link to the page in the description 👍

Sounds interesting I think you need to do a video on doing that

Thanks for the heads up, I have seen that but in the moment as ever I forgot :)
Neat, thanks for the demo.

That's no good, I was using Chrome on a PC
Love the Popeye figure! That's the Popeye I remember watching when I was a kid. Got me to eat my spinach!
Haha me too, this model has traveled with me for so many years from 1976 apparently.

Yes I've been down the photo route too this is a lot easier and although the car needs a lot of work it is sort of there.
Thank you for the great video. Will you make the model available? I'm a Popeye fan.
Thanks, It's a copyright image I think so no.
top and bottom Z distance to .28 may help you with your tree supports. Mine practically fall off
Ah ok I'll try that the supports seem to be gripping on harder than they used to.

@@rafall1118I'll have to try that one if I can, thanks for the heads up.
